What you said about superfeline is so true. I'm an end game player and have been around since the point he got released. I'm already past the 15k user rank mark, but my superfeline is still +48. The road is long, but at the moment my 50 idi got my back and is still slapping relics left and right. Still would be cool to eventually unlock true super feline in the future and check him out.
I got that +80 recently and it’s stupidly powerful. One of the most fun units to use in the game. It’s a real shame that it’s locked behind such a steep requirement.

i know im late to the discussion, but i think one of the reasons why most ppl dont have true superfeline is because when he came out, his tf was not out yet and he could only be boosted to +9 leaving some stupid idiots (me) to just exchange him for np instead of using him, so when his true form came out i had to grind 71 more copies to get his true form.
Another unit that ends up being impractical is actually one of the strongest units vs the trait it targets and is far more accessible than True Superfeline: Lollycat. Lollycat’s 2 sec cooldown and high range AOE Slow vs Metal absolutely crushes Metal stages and is absolutely uncontested in the role, even compared to Sakura Sonic. The impracticality comes from the fact that this ability is a Talent. Sure, it only requires a single talent unlock to be good, but with how infrequent Metal stages are, their tendency to have LD enemies that destroy Lollycat, and the outstanding quality of the Cyclone units, it’s generally not worth it to unlock Lollycat’s talents.
This might be a hot take but imo lolly’s talent is worth it. Yes, it’s expensive. However, lolly performs infinitely better than the cyclone cat cc squad on mixed stages, and also outperforms them on pure metal stages. They are the single best anti metal cc unit in the game. Yes, there are better talents to get, but personally I would get lolly’s slow after all the important talents. The main strength that lolly has is how good it is on mixed stages. The cyclone squad has melee range and get killed easily on mixed stages, but lolly has 350 range and can survive for a decent while. With lolly, metal doges basically don’t do anything, which is great since metal doges are very annoying on mixed stages. TLDR: Lolly’s slow is worth it. It makes every metal stage (that doesn’t have loris) free I know I type a lot
Pre-TF Lasvoss is another good example of a unit that seems good on paper, but is really impractical (outside of his broken combo). Sure, that damage is insane, but his short range, long attack animation, requirement to be at 1 HP and land a savage blow to achieve that damage, and high cost make him frustrating to use.
I say we should be thankful for beefcake, even though pretty ineffective when not stacked and one of the most cash draining units ever he is still an insane anti surge no gacha unit
i know he doesnt really fit because hes really good, but Luza needing 1 morbillion stones to get his tf makes it so a lot of players will end up not using him for a long time i think
Luza is an endgame unit but anyone who beats UL unlocks him and when you get his TF he’s ridiculously strong. It’s way easier to farm the stones than to get 15k UR (especially with Hunter’s Map IV coming in 12.4 being able to drop gems naturally)
I had all the UL legend TFs before getting Superfeline’s TF. So Superfeline is still significantly more of a grind imo (especially since the chance to get him from a normal ticket is like 5% per ticket and would therefore require opening ~2000 normal tickets on average to even get his TF. Also, Luza is absolutely worth every stone he requires even if it’s annoying to get them all

Jinforce volcano is the only culling stage that you can semi-reliably get yellow stones, but it’s only on at either 7am 12pm or 7pm. This makes it so if you don’t wake up in time or aren’t available to play the stage when it’s up, you’re out of luck. And even when you are on at the appropriate time, you can only play it ONCE. With odds to get a yellow stone being 23% at best you will get one roughly every FOUR DAYS, and that’s if you even manage to play it everyday. The only consistent way to get yellow stones is the yellow stone enigma in hunters map III, but that requires 1000’s of energy to get each time and is again only playable ONCE. They are so good damn bullshit and Ponos making Luza cost TWENTY OF THOSE MF is so fucking cringe. I can’t wait for Hunters map IV so the behemoth stone grind will finally stop sucking so much swampy ass.

Honestly, when it comes to super feline, mynproblem isn't User rank, it's just getting enough of him to boost to lvl 100. Right now I have 14800 UR, it won't be long before I reach 15k, but I only have Superfeline at lvl 80, and the silver ticket system REALLY doesn't like giving me more fsr.
I always found superfeline’s unlock requirements absurd. And then the UR requirements to level him is just ridiculous. I am at UL 27 and only 6.8k UR. I will need over double my current UR to level him to +80, not to mention the 80 copies of it. And I don’t even have that many obscure collab units to burn xp on. Superfeline would have been great without the ur requirements, and even better if unlocked in ItF(although anti-relic is pretty useless until about cotc 2-3)
i finished UL a few weeks ago, i used up all my xpboosts to grind xp colliseum and ive maxed out basically every single unit i own to level 30. loads of level 45s and 50s too. still only at 13.5k UR. getting 15k is insane, ill probably have to try to get every single eva collab unit since i missed it but hopefully i can use superfeline in 2 and 3 star

i only use NP on my beefcake cat because at the time i didn't have a few or any surge immune units at all and i only maxed out strengthen and attack up but now having LKD with surge immune and mini waves unlocked i will definitely use LKD for all surge stages (or maybe i'll use both if there's a 4* surge stage)
I wouldn't say 1kb is ideal all the time, just having low kb is nice. There are some tankers which benefit from having 2+kb, such as Keiji who can reposition to get boosted damage off before he goes down, or Garu so he can last on the field a little longer, since he's intended as a backup wall.

I love maximum the fighter and I honestly believe he is better than elemental duelist. He has never disappointed me and was one of my key units for 4 crown stages in SOL. He is a great unit and I love him.
to get to 15k user rank you'll need around 375 units (at base lvl 40) of course the numbers may be wrong with +numbers not being added in (someone who is more capable in math can solve that because i can't) i highly doubt any BC with ever reach even around 10k user rank (i have around 7900 user rank) maybe super feline's TF can be a reward for like clearing all UL chapters 3*
I wouldn’t really say that true superfeline is impractical really, I got him just by playing the game and getting normal tickets. I wasn’t dedicated to getting him but it just happened. It was more of a milestone than a goal to me
Yes, you’re right, superfeline is a very easy unit to obtain. However, the video talks specifically about his true form and it’s requirements, which are much harder to achieve
@@turt1100 Well, on average, it takes 1600 cat tickets to reach +80 superfeline, takes at least 300 units and 7500 catseyes with them all at level 50 to reach 15k user rank, or 500 units at level 30, and likely billions of xp in order to finally reach the milestone. Difficulty is subjective, but I’d say the general consensus is that doing all of what I mentioned is not easy or quick to do, therefore making it impractical. If you’ve found it easy, though, then there’s nothing I can say about that

I’m not spinning on cat tickets and upgrading cat units specifically for superfeline (until I was at like 14k) I just did it because it’s part of the game. Superfelines tf just came in as a result of that not by directing time into it.
Yeah, I don’t got time to grind it other than summer. I legit grounded over 30 uncanny legends chapter in one week last summer just to catch up for the end of uncanny legends true forms. Aside from summer, I ain’t touching uncanny legends any other time.
Maximum isnt bad unit, prof.A is one of the strongest red enemies and overall in the game, they dont even buff him that much, with 200% at maximum like in I'll be bug, sure his damage is shit, but fairly tanky for his cost, island and roe cost way higher so its not a fair comparison, elemental duelist is a better conparison, since it cost a bit more, and while it deals more damage, it has less HP, so its not that maximum is bad, you are putting him in bad matchups that wont fit other units similar to him like elemental duelist, even bath cat has less stats but still has some good matchups, like manic island courier due to its good anti red range

I'd say that one of the most impractical ubers in the game is ST Akari (as in he's actually pretty good, but need too many resources). His super talents are pretty insane but in order to get those, you need an insane investment of dark cateyes, XP, and NP and at that point, might as well get the talents of different ubers that are more useful and that you would use more often. And plus with how hard it is to gain Dark Catseyes, the investment in not worth it, and i'm not even going to talk about the chance of getting Akari in the first place
I would like to give my point on Maximum, Yes just like you said, it is rather impractical for rare units to reach+80 standards, but a lot of people nowadays already get their hands on some+40 rare units, and at worst，+30, the stat difference isn't that big and Maximum is shown to have really decent generalist usage(Yes I will say he is more like a generalist ms than an Anti red one) due to its relatively low cooldown when compared to other units like ramen when in a no research combo scenario, heck his hp is also really good, making it surviving even some boss hits. All in all I will say that Maximum usage is definitely not impractical and it is in a nice place of the game currently.
Fun fact, I had well over 12k ur by the time I finished SoL and to date I haven't finished anything past urs despite having played now for I think 3 years. I am currently stuck at level 20+77 and it's hell. I am a fucking mistake and I fully embrace it.
I don’t necessarily think maximum having worse stats is a “practicality problem”. If anything he’s more “practical” then island since you know if he has the stats to reach an enemy he’s not gonna miss because of single target thanks to area on him. Being a slow single target unit like island means it’s difficult to make sure island hits the unit you want him to hit. His stats just suck without boosting. Maximum is really practical but not effective and when he’s boosted he’s both practical and effective. When he’s good he’s really easy to use

Maximum the fighter should have resistant to red, 1 or 2 KBs and a slight strenghthen would fit him well and he'll be a good alternative to roe

to get to 15k user rank you'll need around 375 units (at base lvl 40) of course the numbers may be wrong with +numbers not being added in (someone who is more capable in math can solve that because i can't) i highly doubt any BC with ever reach even around 10k user rank (i have around 7900 user rank) maybe super feline's TF can be a reward for like clearing all UL chapters 3*

I wouldn’t really say that true superfeline is impractical really, I got him just by playing the game and getting normal tickets. I wasn’t dedicated to getting him but it just happened. It was more of a milestone than a goal to me
Yes, you’re right, superfeline is a very easy unit to obtain. However, the video talks specifically about his true form and it’s requirements, which are much harder to achieve

@@turt1100 Well, on average, it takes 1600 cat tickets to reach +80 superfeline, takes at least 300 units and 7500 catseyes with them all at level 50 to reach 15k user rank, or 500 units at level 30, and likely billions of xp in order to finally reach the milestone. Difficulty is subjective, but I’d say the general consensus is that doing all of what I mentioned is not easy or quick to do, therefore making it impractical. If you’ve found it easy, though, then there’s nothing I can say about that

I’m not spinning on cat tickets and upgrading cat units specifically for superfeline (until I was at like 14k) I just did it because it’s part of the game. Superfelines tf just came in as a result of that not by directing time into it.

Maximum isnt bad unit, prof.A is one of the strongest red enemies and overall in the game, they dont even buff him that much, with 200% at maximum like in I'll be bug, sure his damage is shit, but fairly tanky for his cost, island and roe cost way higher so its not a fair comparison, elemental duelist is a better conparison, since it cost a bit more, and while it deals more damage, it has less HP, so its not that maximum is bad, you are putting him in bad matchups that wont fit other units similar to him like elemental duelist, even bath cat has less stats but still has some good matchups, like manic island courier due to its good anti red range
By saying ED is a better comparison to him, you're saying he sucks, right? You know Duelist is trash don't you?

I barely ever use beefcake even with talents. The other free surge immune units and many ubers are enough or better. Very overrated unit
I'd say that one of the most impractical ubers in the game is ST Akari (as in he's actually pretty good, but need too many resources). His super talents are pretty insane but in order to get those, you need an insane investment of dark cateyes, XP, and NP and at that point, might as well get the talents of different ubers that are more useful and that you would use more often. And plus with how hard it is to gain Dark Catseyes, the investment in not worth it, and i'm not even going to talk about the chance of getting Akari in the first place

I would like to give my point on Maximum, Yes just like you said, it is rather impractical for rare units to reach+80 standards, but a lot of people nowadays already get their hands on some+40 rare units, and at worst，+30, the stat difference isn't that big and Maximum is shown to have really decent generalist usage(Yes I will say he is more like a generalist ms than an Anti red one) due to its relatively low cooldown when compared to other units like ramen when in a no research combo scenario, heck his hp is also really good, making it surviving even some boss hits. All in all I will say that Maximum usage is definitely not impractical and it is in a nice place of the game currently.

I don’t necessarily think maximum having worse stats is a “practicality problem”. If anything he’s more “practical” then island since you know if he has the stats to reach an enemy he’s not gonna miss because of single target thanks to area on him. Being a slow single target unit like island means it’s difficult to make sure island hits the unit you want him to hit. His stats just suck without boosting. Maximum is really practical but not effective and when he’s boosted he’s both practical and effective. When he’s good he’s really easy to use
For Beefacke, he has the advantage over LKD of being significantly more spammable.
