Hey Kev! Thanks for the video. Wondering if you’ve had a chance to review the Magnifica Plus yet? If yes, how does the milk based coffees compare to the Rivelia? Do like a good flare white and remember you mentioning that the Rivelia produces decent micro foam
Hi Mathias, thanks for your question. Your question has been answered in my latest video here - ruclips.net/video/NB7VsvrBzwI/видео.htmlsi=5h6QzF-AYcfM7urO&t=823
I am a new subscriber who recently picked up the rivelia and came across your videos. I have really enjoyed them and you inspired me to pick up some of your chocolate brownie blend and your decaff option. I was wondering if you had any advice on this machine to get the best out of your coffee?
Have just switched to this great machine fyi best deals are direct to delonghi as you can get a welcome 5% off and black Friday I’ve got free descaler kit and the cold carafe which was also heavily discounted for £689 with the machine its self currently on sale for £649 £100 off! Mixed in with Cworks chocolate brownie blend and decafe milk chocolate and caramel couldn’t be happier!
I'm coming from a Gaggia Classic (wife factor comes into play) and I have never tried milk from a super automatic (coffee I have and I'm okay with it). The Rivelia is pretty discounted at the moment, but I'm thinking between the manual steam wand version or the automatic system. What do you think about the manual steam wand version, would it be worth in terms of milk temperature and control? Right now with discounts both options are same price (manual wand version is normally cheaper, but discount is just for the automatic milk system one).
never understand your sarcastic reactions to the brewed cup. For somebody that is looking to buy the machine, you just want it straight - "is it good or not?", not some grunting and grimacing and subtle winking, you have to rewind the video to cross check it lol. BTW I am a paying customer of coffeeworks, not just some random internet hater haha
I've recently bought this machine and mainly a Latte drinker. I've turned the temperature up max in the setting, pre heated a mug and coffee is still not hot enough. I use the milk stored in the fridge as per manual. Any idea Kev? It's taking the shine off machine & don't know whether to return. I've also tried running a 'rinse cycle' to heat things up first and it's a little hotter but Greggs coffee is always piping hot for example and this is luke warm. Help a guy out 😢
What could be the problem if espresso is coming out fine with bean adapt setting but milk drinks coffe part is always dripping. Grind settings are the same.
Just curious, becausei never had a coffee machine before, specially this is automatic type. How do you adjust the cup/glass size? I notice you use different coffee cups/glass.. ex. You use taller glass for ice latte.. then shorter for ice capp and ice flat white.
The drinks have volume options, so it's just a case of trying to choose the right volume setting for the cup you're using, it's always a slightly scary moment when we're filming and I don't know if I chose a big enough cup/glass ;-). Cheers, Kev.
@@Coffee_Kev is the option in oz metrics? Normally we use coffee mugs that are irregular shapes or weird designs (not the standard cups/glass). so i am thinking if it will fit and fill properly while pouring..
How's the temperature of the coffee/milk on the Rivelia? I'm thinking of buying one but was put off by some reviewers saying it's not as hot as they'd like it to be. No problems with max settings?
The legend is back!

Excellent Emma :-)
Which Grind setting on this did you find worked best with the chocolate brownie beans?

I was watching drink coffee and reached for my beverage and took a gulp. It was water, so much disapointment in my soul.
The coffee from Delonghi Rivelia was water?

I’m in the same boat if the temperature is ok I’ll get one?
I have the same question. I would very much appreciate an answer . Thanks in advance
Salve, da poco tempo uso la Rivelia, come si azzerano le statistiche che stanno in "impostazioni macchina" ?
Is it the coffee strong or watery?
Are the coffees a bit cold?
When you start talking to your coffee machine, it's time to take up knitting, instead.
Haha, yeah especially when it starts answering back!
