Ken, I still have this car and it runs perfect, Never had an issue. Only have 24k total miles on the car, about 10k on the Whipple. You do fantastic work. Danny D....
@mattzep8733 yes, still stock cats and car runs perfect. Rear tire NITTO 555RII. Nothing will hook on the street in a dig with that much RWHP. From 60-70 roll it will hook.
Man I wish I could have gotten his first drive on video. The look on his face and reaction when he got on it for the first time was priceless. He is loving it.
I have the roush stage 2 on 91 it made 638hp I’m taking it in for a e85 tune he said it should make 700whp on e85. I love it I wish I got the whipple tho. But I paid 30k for a 2019 a10 drop top with 56k miles
My murdered out gt is expected delivery just after the new year. Already bought this supercharger. I’m excited. My supercharged 2014 charger is finally gonna have a friend in the garage.
Great video , I enjoyed your post and always have . I’m the fellow with the 19 BULLITT , K0040 . Looking forward to seeing you at the track once more . You and your family Have a Merry Christmas. J
Nice job guys. How long do y’all expect stock cats to last? I know use will play a role. Any concern though? I have a 17 GT that’s been boosted for 6,000 miles. Car is doing good and it’s a mild setup in comparison to this. I have a VMP GEN2R. It made 611 wheel. I’m also on stock cats.
I’m in Murfreesboro and putting a little p1sc kit on...wish I would’ve known about this shop before I bought the Lund tune!!! Didn’t know you guys were in TN
Man great video, I can't wait to get my Wengard Performance tune!!! And also let you guys race it...... Whipples torque curve looks like the trans might last longer too.... Nice nice video, selfishly wish you had filmed some of the pump install, since it's basically operating as a factory replacement, sure there are other videos but we come to you because your a master ford tech and we trust you....
What pulley was this on? Great video, thanks. I just ordered a whipple kit from team beefcake myself. I got the 1050x injectors, JMP BAP but no fuel pump.. I am not sure if I will need a dw400 fuel pump since I am staying on 93 also. 132mm throttle body, is there any downside to going with the 150mm throttle body? I am considering changing to the 150mm version if there is no downside since its the same price.
I’ve heard from tuners virtually no hp gains since the 132 already flows more than enough. The Whipple tech said the 150 can cause drivability issues on the street.
Man not sure but these cars are pretty consistent in the 400-410 rwhp mark stock on the dynos. If you are referring to the whipple stage 2 tune, it was never installed. Straight to Daryle’s tune.
i'm looking at doing this exact same set up with the same exhaust. Hard to tell from the video, how's the exhaust sound? is it much louder after the whipple?
I installed the steeda H pipe and it sounded deep and sweet. I will admit after the whipple the sound increased and is louder but not much unless under boost. No drone either. Dont worry, you will love the sound, not obnoxious or too loud.
Still waiting on my beefcake special Whipple to arrive and keep going back and forth on if I want to install myself. Haven’t torn into an engine since pushrod 5.0 times. Nervous with the Whipple install.
Man this install is a breeze. Instructions are very easy to follow and very thorough! Would recommend having a extra set of hands when setting the blower in and setting the top with intercooler bricks on also. You are going to love it.
Ken Merry Xmas to you and the cute momma that drives the greatest color mustang ever "Ruby Red". This car is very similar to a setup I know about. They had some great deals on these kits.
Where are y’all located? I’m about to get stationed in SC and wanna do this kit on my ‘20, would love to get in and do most install by myself but have guys like y’all to guide me along the way. Great content btw!
Question, I’m wanting to go with a whipple kit and stay at or below the 700whp mark on 93 pump just want a fun street car. If I do this kit how reliable will it be? How safe? How long should I expect it to last? (Assuming OPGs and CS upgraded to).
You can never guarantee that a engine is going to last at any increased hp level over stock. However I see no reason this setup can’t last for a long time. Providing it’s not driven hard 24/7. Also have to make sure good 93 is in it at all times. I usually keep a can of boostane in the trunk in my car so if I see that the car is pulling timing I can add some to bring the octane up. I would drive this car anywhere and all the time with no worries.
I'd highly recommend adding a MFP crank support. I had the dealer install my whipple kit, OPG/CS, and ATI balancer when I purchased the car new. I ended up losing my motor at 13,000 miles due to crank snout snapping and taking out the entire motor. At the time I was running the stock whipple tune, just slightly tweaked for the catlesd headers. Crank shaft failures are becoming more and more common on these cars as there has been over a dozen reported cases alone on mustang6g.com. Failure happened to me while cruising in 6th gear at 2,000ish RPM.
Yes he can take care of you. All his info is in the description! Just tell him you came from the channel!! Merry Christmas to you and your family also!
Kept a funnel in it and poured slowly letting the the system fill. Then once there was coolant standing in the full tube I started the pump while he filled the system. Did that a few times and was able to get all the air out. Salty is on a roll tonight lol.
Hey bud where are you located? I’m planning on getting a stage 2 Whipple for my 2020 GT! I’m trying to find a trustable shop that knows how to do it for me and I’m also, like the customer in this video, planning to stay on a 93 tune as I don’t have e85 near me.

Thank you!! Enjoy and be careful with this beast!!
Very nice build man
I also got 714 rwhp on my 2020 mustang GT with my Whipple stage 2 supercharger on 93 octane. That's great gains👍😃

whats diff with stage 1 vs stage 2?

Yes and a return fuel system.
10 speed auto or manual?
