While federal regulations provide a baseline, the patchwork of state laws adds layers of complexity to the issue. Some states are more permissive, allowing truck drivers to carry guns with relative ease, while others impose stricter regulations. For example, Texas generally allows the open carry of handguns, and this applies to truck drivers as well. However, California has more stringent regulations, requiring individuals to obtain a concealed carry permit to carry a loaded firearm in a vehicle. Therefore, truck drivers must be vigilant in understanding and adhering to the specific regulations of each state they travel through……..just be careful and stay safe.

Hi my name is William Edward Lambert, my Unmark is ex military vehicle with diesel 8v 17L main used off road in the desert. You talked about bears, here we got desert elephants. May asked what motor you got in your Peterbilt. I know what war you were in. I was in tail end. My company that i worked forwas too look UN
I love the fact that you, after overtaking go back to the right line as they do in Europe, what should a truck do on the left line? incl on a 5 line motorway!
I know its common practice and some corp numbnuts came up with it as another profit center. company A buys widgets from company B. Company B pays to deliver the widgets and then company A gets to charge to unload the widgets they need for their business. Sounds like bullshit to me! When i owned grocery stores i was always nice and respectful to the truckers that delevered the products i needed to sell to make a living.
We always appreciate people like you my friend. I totally agree about unloading fees. We shouldn’t have anything to do with that. We should just pull up, unload and leave.
I saw your position of your fifth wheel in this video I run mine all the way back to keep the trailer away from the tractor in those super tight places where you are able to touch the trailer out the window mine has a 24 inch slide
For some reason, I keep mine there I don’t know why it would be honest with you. I can’t move it towards the truck anymore because I have generator in the back and if I move it forward anymore, trailer will hit the generator.
Hey brother, Who cares what anyone says about the caves I been in there too it's tight sometimes people think they know everything what you should do instead of minding their own business stay safe bro
I saw you turn on to hwy 72 going to Alabama last video and I like the way you speak on RUclips piss on the rest of them you sound like manney on Scarface
Hey bud. Do you have to pay for every load to be unloaded? If so, I would imagine that's factored in to what the load pays? How does that work exactly? Anxiously awaiting your next video, reefer load 👍
Good morning brother. Sometimes I pay for lumper, but I am always reimbursed by a broker. Because lumper charges are not drivers responsibility. But most of the time broker pays for that. And only big distribution centers that deal with food and stuff have lumpers. Most of the smaller places where I went to so far do not have any kind of lumper. So far the cheapest lumper service is at Aldi’s distribution center. Last night I paid $60. And the most that I have paid was at Family Dollar down in Oklahoma somewhere and it was like $560. But like I said, I always get my money back.
I'm sure you've already answered this but I didn't find it anywhere what app do you use to get those discounts at Pilot Flying J thanks love your videos
I use RTS fuel card to get discount at Pilot-Flying J. I use Mudflap App to get discount at other truck stops. I think Petro and TA are taking Mudflap as well.

Thank you very much. I had a chance to load chicken load or I think turkey load the first day about the reefer up in Sioux City Iowa but I decided not to because you have to drop your trailer and leave. I don’t really wanna drop my trailer and just leave it.
Looking forward to the Reefer Madness - I call shotgun
Hopefully not too much madness, my friend. But I guess we will find out very soon.
There was a movie called Reefer Madness, everyone was stoned as shit LOL@@OTRBandit
@@chefboyrv57LOL I just looked it up. It was made long time ago in 1939
Peterbilt 10 time's beter as a volvo truck...my two favorite trucks is Kenworth w900 and Peterbilt 389 but both of this trucks must have Cat c15 acert 625 😊...bandt I love your truck is a beautiful truck...thank for the video...stay safe brother
Thank you very much my friend. I really appreciate that. 🙏🏼 W 900 and Peterbilt 389 are also my two favorite trucks. I was trying to buy 900 before I bought this one, but I couldn’t find something that worked for me. But also, I am very glad I got this one.
The square tube load locks are much better than the round ones.
Heck yea Buddy you are ruthless Tell him. Like it is. 😂
He kind of asked for it brother. I would be OK if he told me to just buy Volvo but he shouldn’t have brought flip-flops into that conversation 😂😂😂
At least on a good note, you made it home safe even without the shoes lol. Couldn't tell you how many times that happened to me but it happened off the top of my car lol.
My stupid ass lost the second pair on Wednesday 🤦🏻♂️ happen twice but I can guarantee you. It will not happen the third time.
@@OTRBandit it happens to the best of us.
I wasnt going to comment here, but you just said something that forced my hand. As far as someone stealing your MC# and being careful, I can get your MC# just with a few minutes here on the keyboard and that front license plate you have shown in every video. BTW, I have been watching your vids all afternoon, I wasn't going to sub till I heard you say some of the most real shit I have heard on YT in a long time. Keep it real brother.
Super video 🖐️👋👍🥰🇨🇿😉
Thank you very much Pavel 🙏🏼
There are plenty of laws about traveling with a firearm across state lines…..don’t get caught up.
As long as you have your CCW permit and you follow all the states laws, you will be good.
Looking forward to your next one and picking up your new trailer. Change is always a challenge but I am certain you will make this one work buddy. Stay safe out there!
Thank you very much my friend. I am really hoping for the best. But I am a very hard worker and I think I should do just fine doing this.
Old stomping grounds brotha. Lived in Rolla for 5 years driving a truck. Wife and I always went went to Jefferson city fo shopping mall and dinner. Not to bad place to live.
I go shopping there, sometimes too, mostly to TJ Maxx and HomeGoods.
You're cracking me up!
Just swallow the SD card.
😂😅😂😅😂
That sucks about your shoes though.
Gotta do what you Gotta do my friend 😂😂😂 my stupid ass, lost second pair the same way on Wednesday 🤦🏻♂️
@@OTRBandit...😲😲😲
Seriously? A 2nd pair in 1 week?
You must be getting old, like me.
@@richshan529 I am serious buddy. I left both pairs on my step.. Drove about two hours and I tried to get out but there was no shoes. One of them was somehow still sitting on my step and one of them flew away somewhere.
@OTRBandit ...I'm sorry to hear that.
I think you might need a different system so that you don't leave them behind. I realize that you're trying to keep that beautiful truck looking well, beautiful! Stay safe out there! I'll be interested to hear how you do with your new reefer trailer. I run reefer too but I'm a company guy running a day cab locally, out of the suburbs of Philly, servicing ShopRite grocery stores in Pa, De and NJ too. Sometimes they run me out of Gouldsboro too, which means that I can hit NY and North NJ stores too.
@@richshan529 I’ll be honest with you sometimes I miss all that mess over there back east. I used to do that all the time like for about 10 years. I’ve only done Missouri to East over there, back to Chicago, Chicago to Missouri. I’ve been to Philadelphia many times and a few times New York City and Bronx but not with this truck.
shoot id go back to welding if i had to drive a volvo or any of them plastic truck,,,i like them long frame petercars my self ,,,if you cannt run with the big dogs keep ur ass on the porch, hann you can still do dry with the reefer might have to wash it out more
Love this guy!
Thank you buddy 🙏🏼
Another Great video, Thank You
Can you explain why you have to pay the Lumper ? Is it coming out of your pocket or does the freight company you deliver for pay for them ?
Stay Safe Mate, Best wishes from Tasmania Australia
Thank you buddy. Sometimes I pay for lumper but I am always reimbursed for it. I think shipper is covering that cost but I’m not 100% sure. Thank you for watching from Australia my friend 🙏🏼
I never knew about the caves until last year. I was watching on you tube (Trucking with Schmidt) and he had to pick up or drop off a load and he had a W900.
I love watching that guy. I started making these videos because of him.
Great episode Bandit..........
Thank you so much I really appreciate that 🙏🏼
Perfect response my Brother...🤘
He asked for it, I had to give it to him.
The pete and your vois good videos,,,,,,,
Appreciate it buddy 🙏🏼
Dont buy a volvo bandit
@@RicardoGonzalez-ib5rpYou can bet that will not happen anytime soon.
Also thank you for what u do my friend ❤
Thank you as well for supporting truck drivers 🙏🏼
lol less than 3 min in I’m already laughing 🤣
He kind of asked for it 😂😂 he must have not read my other responses to some of them rude comments.
@@OTRBandit sure did 😂
Gotta love the trolls. He probably just mad cause he couldn't afford that nice of a truck or to even operate independently 😂
I love trolls. I’ll check my email and see some troll comment he left. I click on it and it’s not available on RUclips anymore. They probably see my responses to some other trolls in comments and they delete it before I get a chance to respond 😂😂😂
@OTRBandit I love it. Keep it going can't wait till I'm out on the road by myself. Hopefully I'll come across you and BIG Blue someday. I'm based in Cincinnati for now
@@quality_steppa_🙏🏼
Hey bandit, I found your shoes,a perfect fit....yea buddy!
😂😂 I was thinking about going back to try and find them. But I didn’t wanna drive that far back.
I would not mind walking in your shoes but you keep losing yours lol 😂
There’s no shoes anymore. I am wearing flip-flops from now on lol
I've always carried a gun with me.
It’s a must for every OTR driver.
Round load locks and straps are a great combination…
Unfortunately, I can’t use straps just yet. I don’t have logistics posts in my trailer. But I am planning on getting those installed
That would be one hell of barbecue with all that charcoal best of luck with new trailer drive safe
I think there’s all kinds of different stuff in here from Wood pellets, charcoal and lighter fluid so only thing we are missing is grill and Meat.
This truck right here has a 1998 Detroit 60 series 12.7 engine.
This guy is unhinged, and I just found his channel after watching I got stuck in a cave, yes I watched it to the fullest and it was pretty epic.
I appreciate it buddy. Happy to have you here 🙏🏼
I love the fact that you, after overtaking go back to the right line as they do in Europe, what should a truck do on the left line? incl on a 5 line motorway!
Everybody is supposed to do that. But unfortunately a lot of people don’t.
Another cracking vid as always! What year is your truck?
Thank you very much buddy 🙏🏼 truck is a 2016 Peterbilt 389 pride in class glider edition with 1998 Detroit 60 engine in it.
Top Video ✌️🤙🤙🤙
Thank you buddy 🙏🏼
I saw your position of your fifth wheel in this video I run mine all the way back to keep the trailer away from the tractor in those super tight places where you are able to touch the trailer out the window mine has a 24 inch slide
For some reason, I keep mine there I don’t know why it would be honest with you. I can’t move it towards the truck anymore because I have generator in the back and if I move it forward anymore, trailer will hit the generator.
good job so smart to buy a truck before 400k!
IRS made me buy it. Made too much money and I had to buy something.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks! 🇺🇸Yeah Buddy!
Thank you 🙏🏼

Hey brother, Who cares what anyone says about the caves I been in there too it's tight sometimes people think they know everything what you should do instead of minding their own business stay safe bro

@@OTRBandit I know right, super truckers mentality love your videos keep the faith be safe

Ya buddy another awesome video.
Thank you buddy 🙏🏼
I saw you turn on to hwy 72 going to Alabama last video and I like the way you speak on RUclips piss on the rest of them you sound like manney on Scarface
I I do kind of sound like him now that I think about it. He’s also in that Breaking Bad show but he’s a lot older now.
No thoughts of tri axle trailers. Gives you 60,000?
I never really thought about it to be honest with you.
Thanks!
Thank you very much brother I really appreciate it 🙏🏼
Very informative Sir, thank you.@@OTRBandit
@@chefboyrv57 anytime, brother 🙏🏼

You are probably correct my friend. I’m not even sure if they make manual trucks anymore.
I'm sure you've already answered this but I didn't find it anywhere what app do you use to get those discounts at Pilot Flying J thanks love your videos
