This is a TV show and probably they’re miming. When the song was first recorded, Mick Taylor didn’t play with the Stones yet; Richards had to write and play all the guitar parts for the absence of Jones and maybe that’s why we can hardly see him on this footage

Great video. Sounds like a primarily live recording. No backup singers. But the harmonica playing sounds clearly Mick while he’s dancing in the video. And while Keith plays one of his iconic solos, the camera lingers on everyone but him. No shots of Keith’s hands on the guitar. Like the Ya Ya’s videos an irretrievable loss of watching Keith play what no one has played better since.

Awesome! If Merry Clayton had been there to lend her soaring vocals to this it would have been perfect!

her vocal performance provide an edge that gives the song some credibility and captures the ethos of those chaotic days. I understand she miscarried around the time she made the recording. That's hard.

Her voice was definitely the hook of that song, but---because of Mick Jagger's star power on full display here---I didn't miss it until AFTER the performance.

black sabbath, rolling stones, the Beatles, just to name a few but there are many more. The time when music still had real soul (not sure if you know what I mean) something that has become rather a rare occurance nowadays.

i dont agree. Take in count that i love all the bands you named, but i think that before the 60s there were a lot of musicians that gave us all of their heart as well.
