@@handlebucket6285 Almost every single NBA Player is listed on average 1-2 inches taller than they are. Spud was really 5'5 if you read up on it. Barkley is only about 6'4 but listed as 6'6. Allen Iverson wasn't even 6ft tall(My brother who is just under 6ft tall met him in VA back in like 2010 and was taller than him, they took a pic together and it was noticeable.) Dwight Howard is 6'9 but listed himself at 6'11. All of this was commonplace until the NBA changed the rule a couple years ago. Some were actually listed shorter like KD. He was listed as 6'9 but is just under 6'11. It was usually their college listed height that was simply carried over to the NBA.

ali akhtar back in the day you could play the game at spuds height and not get murdered by athleticism. Now you got 6'8" small forwards/power forwards who weigh 240 ball handling. The game evolved and so did the athletes, it's become a game where if you don't have height you get exposed regardless of how good you are.

That fast break jam against the Lakers was crazy! Only wish Green, Johnson, or Cooper had tried to block it so they could a got crammed on (plus the foul) by the shortest player in the league! Would a been the play of the season had Johnson tried to block that shot and got jammed on by Spud (plus the foul). Underdog going against a Legend, beating him with his speed. I don't think Magic would a lived that down for awhile. That's something that Bird, Jordan, Ewing, and all the other future legends would have got quick a kick out of! How you gonna let Spud beat you, Magic? LOL! =)
