Thing is you're NOT supposed to reach the end of a workout feeling destroyed or without energies. Especially if you're working for strenght you should always leave some in the tank, that's probably why he still had a lot of strength to spare
@@FilippoCardoni That's not always true. A lot of people never push themselves beyond what they think they are capable of, which keeps them from new strength gains. As an example, many people can only do the amount of pullups that they set in their head.
Generally a good climber uses their feet, legs, core, flexibility, and strategic body positioning to succeed, not pull-up strength. Forearms and fingers are the most common strength limits. Not to say that pull-up strength doesn’t matter…

@@EdBordin hey you should give it a try. Doesn't work for everyone but sometimes my best bouldering is after doing a bunch of pull ups or a lead session. Nice and warm, good mind muscle connection, relaxed and focused on technique.
Hey bro it's interesting if you travel to different countries and ask them to pull up for money and if you are going to travel please visit Mongolia it's Asian country between China and Russia
pullup strength doesn't really get worked out too much in climbing unless you specifically train for it(most climbers don't train, just climb for fun). But rather you get incredibly strong grip strength and core.
You'd have to train volume pull ups to reach high numbers. I do train for climbing, including pull ups, but i'd still probably gas out around 15 reps. I can do 5 clean reps with 50% added body weight though. Or 2 reps with 80% added weight.
"Nope, I film this for personal use" BWAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! The look on dude's face was priceless!
Bro was rethinking every single rep
Dude was confused and was like Waite I don't think I'm ok with this 😂
That had me in tears 😂😂😂😂
That was the funniest interaction I've seen on his channel lmaooo
dude was about to have a throw down and make it a real battle by the bus.
LMAO the staredown with Josh was hilarious, he couldn't figure out if you were serious or not
Dude said he just got done working out like he's tired... and then bangs them out like it's nothing. What a lad.
Some climbers are built different
I would do the same, then when they don't think I can do a lot... BAAAM... 3 reps

😂😂

Ive been rock climbing for about a year and can't do a single pull up.. working on it though

Yknow I’ve never realized 20 pull-ups was a lot in high school I could easily hit out over 20 than watching random people struggle at 13 trips me lut
My second best RUclips channel, hopefully will be my first soon, good work buddy, it pays to be fit🏋️♂️🏋️♂️
You need to come to Orlando Florida
Where is Magnus Midtbo when you need him? That bloke can do 50 one-arm pullups (interchange arms) at one go, pinky pullups, etc.
Should offer powder grip for contestants…. Actually allows user to apply more pullups since no sweaty palms..
lol grip strength is fundamental, if you don’t have enough grip to get through pull ups you’re doing it wrong

“ It pays to be fit” hmmm sounds familiar
I wonder how many climbing sessions this dude ruined by gassing them at the start 😂
Probably not too many. It's actually a pretty good warm up, and many climbers are prone to rest and recover between attempts anyway.
