Wow. I haven't listened to this band in a VERY long time! Honestly this is the best I've heard them do sense their melodeath days. Though this song had more of a metalcore vibe to me then death metal. Still a very good song!

This is a great song from a damn good album. Nice surprise guys. This last few years I've found myself enjoying European Melodeath so much. Its my go to genre now.

@thewindmillfullovcorpses those cleans really made this sound more in the vein of metalcore to me. Even the lyrics sound "core" imo
In flames is one of those bands thats been around long enough. You could say they started the melodic death metal scene in Sweden (alongside At the Gates). So I do acknowledge their death metal roots. Jester race/ black ash inherentance is one of my all time top albums.
Check out, Dawn of Demise - Intent to kill. This is death metal.

I'm not a fan of death metal...but I did not hate this! Usually the vocals turn me away...but this was no worse than...for example, Pantera. Thanks for another good song!
I totally prefer this to Pantera but I get your point. If the screamy vocals aren't your thing then the more melodic they are the better. /Andrei
@thewindmillfullovcorpses I agree w you about the melodic vocals! I only referenced Pantera bc I'm old and that's my point of reference for that harsh vocal! Keep showing me new stuff!
