If you actually watch Niko's mukbangs this is how he behaves the majority of mukbangs. This is the "real" him. He puts on a show other times to grow his channel. But he's definitely not "evil" like a lot of people say he is. He's a smart entertainer who knows how to get a reaction.

Nick's been demonized by the whole internet and I love how human James makes him look. I've gained so much respect for James now.
This has made me see Nick in a different light. I didn’t think of him as a demon, although I will hold him accountable for how he has treated some people who weren’t in on jokes. But although I knew his mukbang videos were to troll, part of me felt a little of it was real. Tbh I’d actually watch him if he did less of the dramatics and was himself on camera all the time. How he was in this interview, that’s the side of him I’d subscribe to.

( No, I’m not referring to the clearly staged things with his husband, though they are absolutely horrific to watch and know these people are still together. ) An example I can provide is him going to a drive thru and yelling at the people for taking literally more than a minute when he ordered literally nearly all of the menu. Then when the food comes he labelled it as ‘not even enough for one person.’ If I’m being honest, he seems like someone who just needs a lot of help.

i see a lot of people saying if he was more genuine on his own channel, he’d get a lot more views. while he would definitely get a lot more positive attention, i think he’d probably get less views. most people don’t care to watch a nice regular guy eat regular food and create regular content, even though it’s wholesome to the lot of us, most people will probably get bored without all the drama. nick is doing what pays the bills, and unfortunately i don’t think it’s being his positive genuine funny self.

@@akshadaashok8661 that is a good point. i agree he'd probably get a lot of views for suddenly acting 'normally', but if he kept it up, the attention and shock of nick finally seeming genuine would probably die down after a few days, maybe a week or two. it's unfortunate, but people do what they need to get by. while it's bizarre, i don't think nick is hurting anyone, so i say just let him continue lol
his channel actually started with him being a normal vegan vlog channel, he was nice, normal, skinny and very genuine, he would vlog the ups and downs in his life and people relentlessly hated on him anyways for being gay and a vegan, eventually he stopped being vegan and deleted all his content from before he did mukbangs. Eventually he just said fuck it becuase people still hated him for being gay and his troubles with Orlin so he just went full crazy nick that he is today.
