Sweet video dude, your my FAVORITE fisherman and RUclipsr ever, I’ve been catching so many fish because of you
Thanks buddy I’m so glad!
“And I set the hook right into that tree…son of a….”
Brother I felt that in my soul!! Excellent video as always. I’m relatively local to all the spots you fish and love seeing your success. Well done. Great channel.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nothing like a silveraaadddooo
A Toyota maybe…
@@bassntroutfishing anything but a ford !
After owning several of all three….the Chevy is definitely the best truck. They’re all good, but the ford has electrical issues every 5 seconds and the Toyota will cost you the amount of a Chevy every 3-4 months in gas
@@dannygrimes4951 there all good in there own ways I suppose
Definitely, they each have strong points. But I’m on my 5th silverado, if that tells you anything. I get a new truck every 1-1.5 years and I’ve decided at this point to just stick with Chevy/gmc. They just hold up better than other trucks. I take them into hunting/fishing places that most people wouldn’t try and they never let me down. The fords I’ve had all had window/dash/ignition coil problems, and the Toyotas were awesome, except for getting 15 mpg average. The chev/gmc 1500s with 5.3 from 2014-2018 are my favorite. 22mpg average on 33” tires and reliable as can be. I also have a 2001 suburban 2500 with 190k miles on her that’s running strong and does everything I ask her to without issue
LOVING these longer videos! 🙂 You and my son got me back into fishing!
Cooking tip, if you want your pan nice and hot put it in the hot coals first, once hot transfer to the grate and build up the fire a bit but not too much, just control the heat. Keep practicing this and eventually, you will know the size of fire you need to cook the food correctly, practice makes perfect.
Thanks for the tip! Yeah I haven’t cooked over a fire much this summer..
@@bassntroutfishing No problem I cook a lot over fire have been since I was a little kid, usually I would cook over the fire for my family. We live in northwestern Ontario, have tons of fish and wild game, always loved the grouse nuggets and moose burgers with bannock! Your videos bring me back to a lot of those times, I am in the city for school but am excited to return home.
... Great outing ... Campfire cooking takes a little practice in learning the heat needed ... Flames are for warmth and light ... For cooking you want a bed of coals ,, drop the grill over the coal bed for stability ..
... Yes ,, Wooley Bugger for the win !! One of my favorite flies ... Love the morning beauty ... Nature waking up ..
When they’re jumping, I always use my go-to fly at first, a size 14 or 16 adams dry fly.
Yeah that might work
Heck yeah great video!!! The stuff of dreams!!! Fish on👍🏽
They are huge! Amazing work! My goodness those are some beautiful fall colors!!! 😍😍
Those were some unbelievable Brooke Trout. Another fine video! Good job.
Good work with the flyrod. My favorite way to fish!
Love this video, 3rd time watching it and still doesn't get old
So glad I found your channel, awesome footage dude!
Hey man!
Love your adventures.
When seeing risers like you did here you could consider trying a dry dropper rig, where your dry fly doubles down as an indicator and fly. Add a wet fly or nymph on the bottom and you'll double your chances. Keep doing what you're doing!
Cool video until you said "Asparagus is pretty good if you've got enough seasoning on there..." I would assume you also say things like: Cool tent bro! Mine has central air, have to run into town real quick to get a new air filter at the Deephoe.
Man that colored up male was beautiful and its quite evident when you see one of those that the Brook "Trout" is not really a trout but rather a Char
Those are some seriously beautiful fish!
Awesome job!!! Beautiful fish
Thanks 👍
so funny place, and brookies, amazing. Thank's
Some belting fish there, well done
I like the compilation videos! Keep the good content coming!
Thanks for watching!
Just when I think that there's no way to top your last vid, you come out with this.....Wow I stand corrected! Awesome and thanks!
Awesome! Thank you!
Another great video. I think brook trout; especially in spawning colors are the prettiest of fish. Don’t know that I would have resisted taking one of those good sized one’s for the fry pan though.
I definitely would of took one of those big males haha
love this bro! some beautiful fish! You can really tell they are an epic predator!
Fantastic job!
Love the video bro! Beautiful fall colors. Trees and fish! Tough to beat the fall brookies! Always a pleasure watching you fish! Definitely a bit jealous over here haha! 👊
Thanks for watching!
Que pescaria sensacional mano,
Esse peixe na minha opinião,, é um fos mais top
Deis abençoe
🤜🤛🇧🇷🤙
Man this was a straight up dope video! Bring on those fall colors!
Get yourself a milwaukee heated sweater or jacket. Got mine for 140 bucks an have not regretted it yet. Warm without being turned on. I used it all last winter it is perfect for ice fishing
Awesome video buddy keep up the good work, those brook trout were definitely epic ........👍
Glad you enjoyed
Awesome stuff! 👌 😊
New name for your truck !Billy goat got some traveling to Do ! Fish got to love this show ya just to love it !
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the awesome videos!
Glad you like them!
Good job man nice fishing 🎣 👍
Another great video.
Having lived here my whole life, I can usually tell which lakes you are fishing. This one has me stumped though... 🤔
I'm going to try and figure it out though! If I can, I'm thinking I need to pay this place a visit asap!
Those "small" ones are bigger than any i have caught!!! We get big Rainbows and Browns but no Brookies like those dandy things!!! Good stuff man!! Bro you cut your taters in a cast iron skillet sitting on a cutting board (cooler lid) RIP the knife 😂
Not too many fisherman do catch clean and cook's well I think that's the icing on the cake and gets the most likes and subscribes, so in future videos make sure you have some good catch and Cook's
A perfect belly boat lake😊you should pick one up if you do not already have one … they are fun and meant for a lake like that… CHEERS
Didnt watch the full video but i know it is going to be a banger of a video!
Hope you enjoyed!
Your channel is my favorite!
Thank you!
Brooo I’ve been watching you since you had 5,000 subs 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽 good stuff
dang. Great adventures as always!
Thanks for watching!
Hey man could you please share your cooking set up specifically the pan and single propane bottle cooker you use?? Love the videos thank you!!
Hay dude, love your videos. Please add what kind of rod, reel and line your using. Keep them coming I watch all of them.
I know a couple spots where the Brookies are huge . You don’t see the exaggerated 28:07 hooked mouth except on the really big ones .
Dang those are some fat healthy looking trouts. 👀👍👏
Yeah they’re some nice fish.
Dude not even talking crap you get on some of the best looking trout ive seen in some.of the most beautiful places ive seen. Serious question, if i were to come out your way at some point in the future what are the chances of us hooking up and making a video together? Place like that is a bucket list of mine. Great video brother 👍
Wow man amazing video! Incredible brookies! What state r u fishing in bud?
You gotta pack up the 4 wheeler next time what a trek 🤯 Some pretty brookies gotta love it 🎣
Yep I do. Worth it though👍🏼
Healthy fisheries out west, compared to the habitat of the east. The chances of getting trophy rainbows, browns, cutthroat and brook out west is immeasurable. In the east, it's a lucky day of trout fishing, besides maybe Driftless and the Great Lakes..
You caught some beauties at your camping spot. Gotta love that road.😂
Yeah it was horrible. Worth it though
I know you're new at the fly fishing thing. I've been flying fishing for 40 years. Just a little tip. When you hook a fish reel up the slack line that you pulled out. That way you can fight the fish on the rod. Anyway, nice job today
Yeah I do that sometimes. Sometimes I forget..
What you said makes sense as all extra line dangling would be a hassle
nice catch
Great video.
Thanks!
you are absolute nuts taking your truck in there I took my rzr there a week ago and questioned weather or not I should lol
Yeah I know right. Good story to tell I guess😅 caught some trophy’s though so it was worth it
We didn't catch anything at allit was fun to watch thanks
You caught a big tree bass. Been there. 😂
VERY NICE FISHING !!!!!!!!
Thanks 👍
A lake you can drive to with no people .... sweet! What camera headset do you use? Thanks!
Awesome
Yeeeeeeeeewwwww I've been waiting for this one!!!
Hope you like it!
@@bassntroutfishing No doubt in my mind brother. Thanks for uploading!!
Nice Brook trout
Great hair dude
It’s a common misconception that oil prevents butter from burning. Butter burns at 175 C regardless. Trying using clarified butter. The smoke point is significantly higher at 230 C
Thanks for the tip!
@@bassntroutfishing bacon grease for frying trout. Nothing better
There were actually 3 species caught here - splake were the first few, then brookies and you’re right about that one that looked like a Dolly Varden - that’s certainly what it was
Those were BIG brook trout! Nice video man, have you thought about targeting lake trout? It's been a while.
Yeah it’s tough without a boat. I don’t know how to target them honestly
What kind of fork multi tool do you use?
bro you need to season that pan bro. that is so much rust.😂
Yeah right
Great Video, but when the fish are rising, why don´t you use a dryfly?
get big fish on the reel asap. fly fishing 101!
when im out camping my favorite steak combo is steak and eggs goes hard in the morning
I know you are just fishing for trout but you should try and get to your reel when fly fishing it will help you loose less fish and if that doesn't make sense when you set the hook and pull some line in start reeling up and get all your line caught up to your real and then fight the fish from there 😉
Should of brought a 4X4 and a chain saw
Two flies that I like using is just a red feather with some tinsel down the body or a white streamer with a flash on both sides of the body
Or a black streamer at night
Usually the wild ones are the hardest fighters
Btw every trout lake has leeches, thats basically what a wooly bugger resembles
I also like throwing green caddis larvae near logs or I always have a chironomid lake fishing
Dude,
You need to invest in a plastic boat that you could put in the back of you truck. You wouldn’t have to worry about losing fish in the weeds!
Merci pour la video
I have a secret brook trout pond in nw Alberta theres monster brookies. Its a magical place, my biggest was 9.2lb
Someone from back East would be losing their minds for brook trout that size. :) Also nice job on the gentle releases. I hate when guys just chuck them back. No respect...
Nice vid where are your waders😂
Bro hit the trail!!! Fix up the white truck for the small trails
It’s fixed, should of taken it on this trip..
Omg , bro those are amazing! What state are you in?
Somewhere in the mountains..
I know where your at, but wont tell anyone.
Only thing I want to know is where he went fishing for Arctic Grayling
Is that an indicator or a bobber?😊
Very healthy body of water, I'm jealous.
bro you cuttin taters on the non stick.. Sam wise disapproval
Love it when people "dethaw" stuff.😂. The word is "thaw" people. Not de-thaw. No uch thing. De thaw would be freeze.
Funny that I watched the first bit of this vid while eating red potatoes
They’re part of the Char family…
Did you fish in Chernobyl? Those brooks are massive!
Where are you catching these? What state?
Looks like high altitude bass fishing but there trout
How do you find these places?
I sleep better in the back of my F150 than I do in my bed!
Those are the roads google maps tries to take me on in my sedan
is this lake stocked?
Yeah but some of them are wild
In which state is this?😊
IT DOES TO COUNT
One more
U let a lot of good eating fish go,i didn't see the one u cooked, when in the video u caught them, hopefully your new videos show same content
Lol log salmon.
Can you say what state you are in
No
I probably would have thrown the fish with the tumor out of the water however it may have just been a giant leech
