- This video will guide you on how to connect your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One or PlayStation 3 or even an android device such as a nexus 10 to your multiple display setup not matter if its Eyefinity technology or Nvidia Surround this will work on any multiple display setup .
for this project you will need 1 extra HDMI cable and the following products.

Is there a way to add peripheral perspective to your setup instead of splitting the original tunnel vision? I think it would be cool to add peripheral vision additionally to the original display and have it setup conically like you. How is it possible to pull data from the console to provide data for multiple display outside of the middle tunnel vision display?

i was wondering if i use the 4k spitter (future proof purchase) instead of the 1080p spitter with power plug?

First time thinking about going this way so I wan to be sure it's worth it.
I've been struggling with this for over a week now. I have 3 monitors 23" all 1920 x 1080 resolution. I connected them through the graphics card GeForce GTX 1050 in my PC. All three monitors are now connected using Nvidia "Surround" and total 5760 x 1080 res; which I wouldn't get if I bought the capture card and splitter as they only have a max res of 1920 x 1080. Sony, Nvidia and the company that make the Extremecap U3 cv710 all say you can't connect a PS4 to a PC? Well I'm sure if you did you wouldnt get a 5760 x 1080 resolution with the add on's Dr Goatee is using.
Can you get the same effect as on PC sim racing or is it just like watching 16.by 9
I didnt understand how is your set up :( So, you connect the PS4 to the capture card, and that to the splitter? And then the image is divided by three?

Doc, good video.. One question though, and maybe you answered it, butI didn't see this... Do the monitors have to be set up in "portrait" mode or could I set them up for more of a panorama? I ask because i am thinking of setting up 3 large displays for a driving game. Cheers!

Consoles aren't set up to use multiple monitors so the aspect ratio can ONLY be what the console supports. having 3 monitors vertical will still give you the same 16:9 ratio that consoles support. You would be better off just buying a bigger TV.
That said games like Gran Turismo 5 do support multiple monitors... but you need a PS3 and a copy of the game for each monitor.

How is the output signal of the PS4 converted 90 degree's onto the 3 vertical monitors? Does the Avermedia ExtremeCap U3 do this?

The whole point of infinity is to massively increase field of view, allowing you to see much more giving an advantage in games like fps shooters.
All you have done is created a tv with three monitors and bezals running through it.

Dawg, PC elitist got no time for low resolution TV-monitors! This is great if you have an old console lying around and want to put your peasant entertainment on the big screen.

finally tried it on PS4, was trying to play gran turismo sport on a triple screen and im not satisfied with the graphics, the 1080P was just stretch to 3 monitors, you dont need a spitter anymore btw just a capture card and hdmi cables

+Naji Karim It connects via PCI-e rather than USB so it gives the least amount of lag. any capture card would "work" but you will get a delay in video.
Unless its a wrap around setup for racing 1x curved Samsung screen would be alot easier
for the ps4 stuff aren't there any cheaper things you can buy to do this
