We are looking at my Forza 4 Xbox 360 racing set up and having a play.
I briefly explain how to set everything up but if I've missed anything or you have any questions please ask

I knew that the Xbox 360 supported triple monitors, but this is the first time I’ve ever actually seen it done. I think MS deserves a ton of credit for ever building in support for what was always going to be such a niche feature. So incredibly cool.
It's great fun mate, such a shame so few games support it.
The ps3 has the same feature, I'm considering adding them to the set up.
This is the exact information i have been looking for online for 3 hours. Thank you so much for uploading
That's brilliant, your the first person that's ever found this useful.
Thanks for letting me know.
That is just so awesome and an amazing set up , you could give me all the parts that make it up and 5 years and I’d still be trying to get the damn think to work , I wouldn’t know where to start on making a custom frame , utterly amazed at what you’ve created there mate, I’m more of an arcade racer type but that game looks cracking. I dare say you’d have lost your deposit on the Ferrari if you had to hand that back to a dealership :) this will get a ton of views as well mate.
Thanks mate, I'm really chuffed with it, had the car seat over a year and just never got started.
I'm a lazy arse ☹️.
So glad I finally got it done though, it's great fun.
The frame bit was easy enough it was the technical bits that foxed me, couldn't find anything on the net at all really.
Arcade machine next 😍
That is awesome : ) Great job. Never knew it could be done with the 360. If I ever get enough space someday I just might try this myself : ) Thanks for making this : )
It's not that hard when you know how mate, I struggled a bit because I couldn't really find anything to help.
I'm hoping I can find more game's that support it, brilliant fun 😍
Looks amazing mate. That is just so cool. A big fan of Maple Valley on Forza too.
Cheers mate, it's great fun.
I'm with you, maple valley is one of the best tracks.
i still dabble with Forza 4 from time to time, such a great game.
my brother in law also plays and we regularly have both of our rigs side by side.
i do have 3 xBox360's, 3 Forza 4 disks, and 3 42"TVs. Always wanted to try this out .......
i remember you could do the same with either Gran Turismo 3 or 4 on the old PS2 also 👍
good video mate.
Thanks it's great fun, since you have all the bits I couldn't recommend it enough.
Absolutely brilliant mate. This will be getting multiple watches from me...I’ll show everyone it. Didn’t know you could do this with 360.....So immersive. I’d watch any future stuff like this buddy.
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it.
Might do a lap of the nurburgring in the future.
This set up would look awesome in your games room mate, I'm thinking of adding ps3's to it for ridge Racer 😍
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 that would be class. I'm looking forward to you discovering more games that support this.
I saw the setting for this in the menu and was dying to know how it worked. It's so cool that a home console (or 3) could do this in the early 2000s.
Theres a video on RUclips of someone playing Forza Motorsport 1 with a 5 monitor setup running on 5 original xboxes. So obv FM1 had it, and I'd imagine that means FM2 has it as well.
Didn't know you could do it with the original Xbox also, that's very cool.
I may look into adding them to the set up, would be cool to be able to switch from both systems.
Cheers for the information 👍
on all the things consoles can do , this is the one thing that people speak the least about, but is one of the most amazing features of consoles. the only downsite is that you need 3 consoles and 3 copies of the game . but even the xbox one can do this but it not advertised in any way. these days xbox360's kost next to nothing so this is a great way to play forza.
It also works with dirt 3, I've just ordered 3 copies.
Unfortunately that's it though, shame more games didn't support it.
Will cover dirt soon.
Wow. That’s great cheers. Nice to see the Rhino cameo too 👍
Thanks mate, I love it great fun.
I think that rhino is gonna end up costing me a fortune 😆
Awsome stuff my man, i felt like i was in the back seat of a race car. Almost looked for my seat belt 🤣. What an experience. 10/10 mate
Thanks mate, it's great fun.
That's an impressive set up mate! :) The steering wheel looks ace!
You never have to leave the games room again :D
Thanks mate, took a lot of shouting but was well worth it, great fun.
Considering adding 3 playstation 3's so I can play ridge Racer 😍
This is so cool! Never realized you were using three 360s. I'm definitely going to try it myself. Great video
It's great fun mate, I'm sure you will love it once you get it set up.
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 once you get it setup its well said I followed all of your steps and the clients doesnt connect

For some reason different Xboxes won't talk to each other
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 no but even the same model doesnt communicate to each other I just entered new protocol rule on my router for port forwarding .. .. with or withouth the internet switch the xbox live get connected but all the other get blocked. im sure I missed something relative to my accounts .. .. dunno which account I should take if i need gold account or just live account and do i need 3 live accounts!? thanks in advance its very appreciated! I spent over 20hrs in the last days and I envy very much yours lol my sanity or whats left is going short !
@@guillaumepayant9744 okay heard the only things I can think of, I'm sorry I'm not very technical.
Firstly I had troubles at first with the old grey model 360,s I found the black slims worked much better.
Secondly I set it up offline.
I've never tried to connect mine to the internet, that might be the problems.
Connect each Xbox to the t-p link device and boot it up
You then should be able to go to the screen I showed in this video.
I really hope this helps as I cannot think of anything else it could be.
Dude, that is awesome. I'm actually going to set that up this weekend. Just waiting for one more monitor to be delivered.
It's great fun, I'm sure you will enjoy yourself.
David retro games played badly. The monitor just arrived! I'll show you the setup when I get it up.
@@koset look forward to seeing it 👍

Thanks mate, great fun and definitely worth the effort.
Pretty awesome, great setup!
Just subbed! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching and subscribing, I must warn you for the most part I cover stuff that's a tad older😆
David retro games played badly. No worries, I’m no spring chicken...all good!
WOW. I've never seen this before Dave. I have to admit. I'm jealous. This looks so cool my good man. 8^)
Anthony..
Thanks mate, it's great fun.
So cool you did this. You should hook a Kinect up for head tracking too!!!
That's a great idea, sure I've got one somewhere.
Fanatec made an exclusive steering wheel for Forza 4 on 360 which has a working 6 speed H-Shifter and 3 pedal clutch which I have with an excellent force feedback wheel which is far superior in control and handling than the 360 wheel which I had and returned. Great triple setup video for 360. Thanks for sharing
That sounds like it would be an awesome upgrade to my set up.
Will keep my eyes peeled for one.
Thanks for the information.
It was called Fanatec CSR Elite wheel. And the pedals were also called the same thing. It was discontinued about 10 years ago and are quite rare on ebay. Worth it though. Night and day over the Microsoft 360 wheel
Very nice!! Would be cool to see what 3 curved monitors or two curved with a flat in the middle would look like. Awesome setup!!!
Thanks, I am considering upgrading the tvs, they are really cheap now.
This is awesome mate and I know this took some real work from you cos you hate technical stuff. I know that there isn't many games that support it on the 360 but there is on pc and you've done all the hard work now buying the screens and building the frame so if you get a pc in future you're sorted fella. It's way easier to sort the pc setup as well believe it or not.
Really stretched me mate, I hate messing with stuff like this.
Definitely worth it though, great fun.
I don't really do PC's but I may eventually add ps3's to it, think I already have a couple of spares.
Ridge Racer would be awesome 😍.
Thanks for sharing this also mate, appreciated.
wow that's an awesome setup matey.. hardcore with X3 monitors, x3 xboxs etc but wow definitely the ultimate way to play 😎👍
Took a lot of figuring out, not much information on line.
Totally worth it though, great fun.
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 yes I bet it did matey.. unfortunately I've not got the room for a setup that size but you have got me looking at a steering wheel and pedals set for my XBox One and XBox 360 now 🙈🤣
@@XFile2708 can't beat a racing wheel, makes car games so much more fun.
Great set up! well done!
Thanks it's great fun, well worth the effort 😁
I wish turn 10 would get their act together and start implementing this properly across all their games. One can hope. This looks awesome.
It's great fun mate, unfortunately it's hardly supported at all, would love more games to play on it.
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 Hoping with the rise in sim racing they stop and take notice.
Cool setup. I was thinking of doing the same. But decided to just buy a pc and run forza on 3 screens
Your better off with the PC mate, loads more games you can play.
This is a bit of a one trick pony.
This is awesome mate very cool.
Thanks, it's great fun.
You can actually add a fourth screen as a rearview mirror, I'm tempted 😆
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 I bet, it's like the arcade, and wow do it mate.
3 360's? So thats how you do it? 👍Definatley seems more immersive than one 46" tv. Thanks for the info! 🍻🍻 nice game room!
Thankyou, it's well worth the effort great fun 😍
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 looks fun💯 suppose three 46" tv's be abit much and costly. Smaller screens an sit closer 🍻
@@frcat8599 that's exactly what I thought mate.
If you have the room in my opinion it's definitely worth building.
nice set up i really like it
Very nicely explained
Thanks, great fun 👍
Nice project mate. Never knew that you could do that with the X360. There was an arcade game that had the same 3 screen setup - F355 Challenge - you might be able to do that on emulation if your PC can handle 3 screens. (also The Ninja Warriors and Darius were 3 screen as well.). It came out on DreamCast, but it was only capable of one screen on that as far as I'm aware.
Thanks mate, I love it and I think it's nice to have something a bit different.
My pc won't run anything new, it's not fast enough but I'm gonna keep hunting through the 360 game's see what I can get to work.
May eventually add ps3's to it so I can tackle ridge Racer and gran turismo 😍.
FANTASTIC
Thanks, it's great fun.
Dale Jr. had a setup like this at his house back in the day. As a local North Carolina native? I've actually been there once to see it.
Nice mate, not something many people seem to know about but it's such great fun.
Thanks for watching.
I've almost got this ready to go! I've got 3 Xbox 360s, 3 monitors but only 2 copies of Forza Motorsport 2, 3 & 4, and I've also got a Fanatec CSR Wheel! 🤩
Thanks for the video, highly appreciated. I can't wait to set this up!
That's brilliant mate, would love to upgrade my wheel at some point.
Sure you will have hours of fun.
Forza Motorsports 2 also supported this as well. It’s super fun
I. Keep. Meaning to pick up a couple more copies.
Be nice to have something different to play.
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 I might need to take a video of my setup and email it to ya. It’s 2 Xbox’s but ones the main cam and the other is telemetry. Super fun
@@smol_yote that sounds very cool mate 👍
I'd be curious if because dirt 3 is a backwards compatible title that also supports xbox one wheels (i think only forza horizon and one nfs game are compatible) if you can trick the Xbox one's into doing triple screen
Xbox one doesn't do the 3 screen trick unfortunately, neither does the PS4.
Wow! Could you make one for me? Another great video keep it up
Thanks glad you enjoyed it, great fun to play on.
Ahh dude, I collect xbox 360 console and games and I have enough hardware to try that one day :)
It's great fun, give it a go.
That's really neat. Do any games besides Forza 4 support this feature?
A lot less than I would've liked to be honest, Forza 3 and dirt 3 that's it ☹️.
I was hoping for more, I think a shooter would've been awesome also.
Will be covering dirt when I've got hold of a copy.
So fancy!
Thanks mate, great fun 😍
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 I did wonder what project the three 360s (that you mentioned in your pick up vid) were for, its the bees knees!
@@TomMannCenturia thanks mate, it's great fun 😍
Great video! I have a 1440p monitor, do you think 360 games will still look ok on it via HDMI connection?
I would've thought so, as long as the display isn't too large 👍
what kind of HDMI splitter you used to connect all 3 monitors with your Xbox Series and what kind stand you have.
It's a while ago this but I'm fairly sure I show everything during the video.
The stands hand made.
It's not a hdmi splitter, it's an xbox for each screen.
Hey, just wondering if you've tested it with Forza Horizon 2? Thanks for making this video, with 360 stuff being dirt cheap these days, it's a very tempting setup...
It doesn't support it unfortunately, the only games I've found to work are Forza 3 and 4.
I'm considering adding 3 ps3's to it as there's more support on that system.
Get one built mate, great fun.
Hey, just wondering if you've tried this setup with Project Gotham Racing or Midnight Club as they both support LAN multi-console mode?
I haven't, will dig them out and see if they work.
Thanks for telling me.

Besides that - nice set up 👍
No mate can't do 5, although you can add one more as a rear view mirror.
I'm tempted 😆
I think you should do Nordschleife and Maple Valley full. Oh and Road America and Laguna Seca
Was thinking of tackling the nordschleife, any preference to the motor?
Will be buying dirt 3 for it soon, should be epic.

Hi.
Can I connect the PS4 on the three monitors?
Which Hub are you using?
Tks.
Sorry for some reason the Xbox one and PS4 don't support it.
It's an ethernet port I think.
Ok tks 👍
Imagine this 3 screen set up and doing a LAN part with with friends who have the same setup.
I had originally considered building 2 and having them back to back, but it takes up way too much space.
Great fun though 😁
Hi need some advice if ok I play the Xbox one and just got the g920 steering wheel but would like to do the 3 monitors how can I do this and what would I need and can I just do it with just the one Xbox?

Unfortunately not, PS3 Xbox 360 or pc only at the minute.
Just watched this. What a setup, do you still have it?
I have that wheel in my X360 arcade conversion and another in the loft out the way as a backup.

Hey what’s the best degree angles I should set it in? Mine is pretty off
It totally depends on the angle of your screens, best thing to do is use the dashboard of the car as a guide, just keep altering in 5's until you have a straight edge 👍
Cool video, Could it works also with Xbox one?
No, sorry.
Only the 360 and PlayStation 3 support it for some reason.
This might be a stupid question but can u have a dual screen setup for Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox series s so it’s like one big screen

Do the xboxes need a harddrive?
It works with the PS3 just the same. I'm told, but I've never tried it.
I wouldn't have thought you would need hard drives in the Xboxes.
They must be same model though, if you mix original and Slim's up it doesn't work.

That won't work, each Xbox runs each display, giving you a larger field of vision.
A splitter would've left you with 3 identical copies of same picture.
It's not too bad now but I wouldn't have liked to fork out for it all when the 360 was new.
