@windycityrebel wow that is definitely a DEADicated and ambitious goal and ur awesome to me cuz i loooove the dead universe and was at around 25 shows bw 87 and 91. Went on summer of 90 tour and saw the knick shows that some songs made it on the dozing at the knick release. I saw them bring back, very lucky for just 25 or less songs like big railroad blues, loose lucy, st stephen, new speedway boogie, and a couple others i forget.
I was there at the last show. Miss you Jerry so much. Grew up my whole life listening to the Grateful Dead since my parents took me on tour with them. Lady with a fan/ Terrapin, have always loved this song and will love it forever until the day I die. ❤️❤️💀⚡️💀🌹🔥👏🌈
the days when the greatest hit get to the main RUclips page. I feel like I am watching the dead explode again. Like the 4th coming of Christ. From 67 haight magic, 74 jer magic 76-78 being the tightest band ever heard and being on top of the world in 89 I wasn’t alive for any of that but I’m here now and this is a sight to watch. Things we’ve never seen before seem familiar :)
@@isaacsweeney626 cool man! I got into the Grateful Dead when I was twelve years old. I randomly downloaded the song Friend of the Devil. I loved it and from there I never looked back. I turn 37 this month.
It's most definitely seen a huge explosion after the 2015 Fare Thee Well shows. Its really pretty remarkable. My local scene went from the same 100 faces or so at local dead cover band shows to at least 300-400, almost all of which are young people under 25 who are new to the bus. What other bands that started nearly SIXTY YEARS AGO are able to do that? Unreal.
You know, my father was and still is a Dead Head to this day. He did all 30 days at the Sphere. He also has been bringing my ass to Dead shows ever since I could be legally riding his shoulders. What I'm trying to say is, my love will never fade away.
When I get to feeling down I remind myself you are at Alpine in 1989. That was a cross road in time and space the peak of the ex and again I was there!
Proverbs 4:20-21 KJV My son, attend to my words; Incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart.
Not Maggie's Farm? I looked up thre set list and there were a few covers as always especially in the last decade. I mean the gd's rendition of Bob Dylan tunes always were on the set list all over set one or and these tracks were either repetitive due to a less than stellar and enthusiastic Bob weir si singing desolation row 30 times, but when they opened up space to experiment and stretch the solos and add occasional experimental effects like Brent or Jerry using new and lovely electronic midi effects, etc. Oh man I love to talk about those few people who have helped thousands step back from the ledge and from purein....sanity

So Blessed to be at Soldier Field for their last show with Jerry. So Many Roads is what I remember the best.....
I was there also for both shows, I went to his memorial in San Francisco also. I have it all on audio.
I was there for the last show, too. Deer Creek '90 was the last great show went to. Jerry's guitar was ringing like a bell!!
Luke 9:60
King James Version
60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.
I was their also memorable So Many Roads.✌💀⭐🌙♥
