I think that was true of Psych a fair amount, but IIRC Monk usually either didn't accuse anybody until the end or pinned it right from the start and just had to prove it. If he threw out wrong accusations it was almost always because something was triggering his germophobia to the Nth degree, like when the garbage men went on strike and he realized it was clearly Alice Cooper that did it.
As someone who has seen literally all of these (Monk, Psych, The Mentalist, Numbers, Scorpion, Sherlock) the only thing missing is the part where he guesses wrong and gets pulled off the case and forbidden to work on it, only to go rogue and solve the case himself and be reunited with the police just as the murderer he discovered is about to kill him.

One of the characters biggest traits is that boredom makes him depressed so he avoids boredom by for example shooting a gun at a wall. He NEEDS a case to function. His brain needs to be active. That's pretty ADHD of him imo.
You guys capture weird genre feels and tropes on a level almost comparable to Key and Peele. Honestly that is what makes great sketches in this genre stand out. That gift of observing these really minute details. You guys are the Sherbert of youtube sketch comedy

I honestly got bored with Psych after a few episodes. Watching a guy fake being psychic melodramatically got old pretty quickly for me. The gimmick just didn't grab me which is kinda essential for shows like this
I wouldn’t say it’s essential, since looking back on it, my favorite part of the show was the character interactions between the cast. Not the actual crime solving gimmick. But if you didn’t like it, that’s fine. At least you gave it a chance

They're a favorite for sure but the greatest is a little bit of a stretch. It's more of a "to each their own" deal than collective. Plus if you lower it down to "greatest sketch channel" to be more realistic, you still got nigahiga. Obviously no hate though, this is undoubtedly one of the greatest modern channels on the platform and I only just found out about it recently
I liked the episode where we got to see Sherbert finally deal with his abusive father and gambling addicted ex fiancé, which finally allowed him with closure to stop pissing his pants when coming out of the BZ. I mean I hear in production that the lead actor was just very tired of wearing pre-wetted pants every episode. But the budget for effects of the BZ got to be enhanced because of it so I’m a fan of the trade off
i know it's not inspired by hannibal, but it does remind me vaguely of will graham with how he'll go into some weird internal state ("hyper empathy") where he just imagines actually committing the murder to figure out what happened. yes, he goes insane
Honestly the brain zone section is so well-done and comparable to actual scenes like this in TV shows Love that you mixed serious stuff with this absurd comedy

Sherlock has some of the cheesiest and most implausible gimmicks out there, but one thing they got right is the "mind palace." That is a real memory technique that really is effective and works essentially as described. It's not the only available memory technique, but for many things it is a good one, and a lot of people use it.
I enjoy Hannibal bc will graham does have a gimmick but everyone rightfully goes “this dude is fucking weird. What’s with this guy. Why did we hire him if he keeps having psychological breakdowns? I want to put this guy in a jar and shake him around.” And also he gets covered in sweat a lot i think that’s part of the appeal too
