reminds me of when I get too emotional listening to or singing a song it literally blocks the voice and chokes me up lol 😂 def not good u have to balance that shit! 🙃
That always made me confused! But now it confirmed what I thought, only feeling is not enough and sometimes the emotions can mess up the vocal control

The audience needs a little space to decide how to feel about or process what they're seeing and hearing, and the performer needs to let them have that.
If you don't give them that space, then all they might do is think, "wow, that sure is a deep-feeling person," but they won't actually feel anything themselves.
In my experience, I had to accommodate my feelings after my technique is polished, otherwise that doesn't work.

That is one song I decided right from the start NOT to sing, because it is Whitney Houston, and my voice was never made for it. 😅😢 *mixed emotions* and always in my feels.
