  • This 1968 Buick Electra 225 a.k.a Deuce and a Quarter makes for a great boulevard cruiser and is sure to be a winner at any classic car show. With only 17k (believed to be) original miles this car is in beautiful shape and would make an excellent addition to any car collection.

We had one when I was a kid-yeah I'm old. The only difference is ours had matching gold brocade interior and thinner whitewalls. (455 engine and 19 miles to the gallon highway.) It was an exceptionally comfortable car for road trips.

68, duce in a quarter as we called it back in the day, class all the way, power, comfort and style the way buick knew how to make not luxury cars, but luxurious cars.

the 68 Electra was one of the best looking Electras. My Parents had a 69 Buick Electra Limited, and they loved it. They liked it so well, they kept it for years, even though they bought a new Riviera in 81. Several friends and family liked our Electra so well, they bought one too

califdad4 Agreed. This was the year that Buick ascended Cadillac in beautiful style lines and charm. I just purchased a Factory original '68 Electra 225 Hardtop Coupe Custom with under 50k original miles... These cars are quickly becoming the car show/cruise-in charmers!

totally agree those rims also fit the lincoln mercury and ford lines of the early 70s same bolt pattern but ford dont fit gm because smaller axle.

Coker tire has the L78 and the G78 with the correct 1 inch or 1 .3 inch whitewall that came orignally with the car. the whitewall is a bit too large. but the car still looks great!! I just finished a light restoration on a California no rust, kept it all original on a 1974 Chevy caprice 4 door hard top in Medium green fully optioned car.I just put on the L78 1 inch whitewall and it really does the car wonders. Had Just Dashes in LA restore the dash and it looks great!! These large 70s 4 doors are really fun !!

This is a fine example of how pretty GM's cars became under Bill Mitchell's direction at GM's Design Staff during the 60's. This car is stunning and a far cry from the hideous '59 (and '60) wide body Buicks that were designed under Earl's carriage of GM Design.

chiefafro9er The Green is awesome. Officially called Tarpon Green Mist, which is the color of my 68. '68 225 2-D Hardtop owner here. Found mine with 48,000 original miles all original color pristine condition. The '68's are the nicest Electra models ever made. Perfect lines everywhere!
As these become more discovered, I've noticed the prices are steadily increasing with the demand. People are getting tired of the same old Camaros, Chevelle's and 442's and moving up to these off the radar models that offer big block power and endless comfort with great looks.

Verzell King In 1968 there was no “Sage” Green color in the Buick lineup. But there was the “P” Code color of “Tarpon Green Mist”. My ‘68 Electra 225 Coupe is this color and it is a very appealing hue.
