Green AI woman makes Barbara confused.
Goes out before gioing in, just to go out.
Masterclass!
😂😂😂that made my day😂😂😂
And I would like to know who is her stylist because that green choker is making me gag
hahhaa, robert throwing that watermelon and grape dialogue that Mark says😂
Really incredible, seeing Robert get this personal wasn’t something I didn’t expect. Hope this business takes off
If it wasn't something you didn't respect you are saying you did expect it? 🤔
More like Robert making it about himself
He mentioned this story on Shark Tank US too.
Total drama he did here. Way ott
So weird and cringey, not sure if some part of the context was edited out of the final cut.
That's why I straight up love Mark Cuban he would have said straight up if the deal was wrong and advise that he could counter.....
true lol
Straight up bro?
Yup too much because he tol them $7 to make and selling it for $78 😂 i would give them max 5% each. I het they would still take it 😅
Robert is wild for that lol how are you going to cry and then offer 45% lol
I had the same reaction to that. I thought he was going to offer for 30% or 35% maximum.
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why not drop to 25% or less
Because it’s cork shoe pads.
Emotion cant be inline with business
Robert is a wolf in sheeps clothing
79.99 for some insoles is mental. With costs around 7 he could halve retail price and still make a large profit margin, whilst expanding his market base
if it was recyclable because you need to change at least once a year, you correct
Agreed. Price should be no more than $20. For $80, you can buy a whole new pair of sneakers and still have money left over
7 per foot
Robert, stole Cuban's line about the watermelon and grape. His tears are for the show! lol
I noticed that straight up! Good call.
Robert makes it all about himself, quite the actor
Dude is so fake it's crazy how people eat it up
yeah and then throws him that robbery of a deal
He is a toxic virgo ♍
Always. And now that he's gone from being the least successful shark to being the most successful one on a panel of influencers in Australia, he's going nuts with it.
I’m surprised they didn’t ask about sustainability and supply chain limits. Cork is a tough business. I can totally understand needing 45%.
these pitches are over an hour long, cut down to like 8 minutes for TV, they ask significantly more than what you see
@@roberthart1957 That makes more sense. Seems like something they should have left in because it’s very relevant to the valuation. Thanks
Cork is the most sustainable material!
When did Andrew tate become a shark
That ain't andrew tate
@@gazelle1189 someone needs to learn sarcasm 😂
2 months into the womb😊
@@eh4372 someone also needs to learn humour, cause your joke wasn't funny
@@kareemjordan6780 you need to learn that humour is subjective and people find different things funny and some people are smart and some like you are thick
Shame on the sharks for robbing him, Disgraceful.
The deals aren't final, this guy is not dummy.
@@MartyWoods-fu5cyHe is a dummy he gave his half business to millionaires billionaires
Facts
Never expected andrew tate to be a shark
That's getting old, Einstein....
Andrew Tate is richer than all of them put together tho lol
“It’s better to own one piece of a watermelon than an entire grape”
SO GLAD THIS IS BACK WITH ROBERT!!!
Robert is always been my favorite in all shark tanks... he is humble, emotional, successful, rich, healthy and in shape.. a good rolemodel for young entrepreneurs.
He is a toxic, judgemental analytical, negative intelligent virgo ,he loves perfectionism and he is not perfect.
Humble? 😂😂🤣
That was awesome. Reach for the stars guys!
11:57 I think Mark Cuban said that.
They all say it. Old saying from some unknown person probably.
He should've asked for more money to compensate for the equity.
If Mark was there he would have scoped it up for 25 percent or 30 percent!
I think that they took advantage of his naivety a little bit in this deal. He could have at least asked for $80, 000 for the 40% and $2 royalty only until they got their money back, rather than in perpetuity, but he had zero negotiation skills unfortunately. I'm happy for him either way because the business is a success now so everyone is eating well including him.
They said until they got the money back
they said 2 dollars until they get their money back
You’re insane. A 200k valuation on a business that did 20k in a year? Yeah right.
You offer the money if you want to put the time and effort into growing it. Why do viewers of his show think the sharks should just give money away to people you like?
It's not always about the money. He needed guidance more
Fantastic and I hope this is a new beginning for him
Price point is very high, lower price would increase sales, there was some other shoe insoles on the older shark tankss,, dont know much about his product but sweating used to make cork absorb fall to bits,,
A masterclass in how not to negotiate
I thought US Shark 🦈 tank was a wholesale/ discount business buying scheme, the Aussie version is a garage sale! Don’t ever ask for too little! If you want $50k at 10% ask for $100k at 8%!
What a quality of sharks, I totally respect previous sharks, they were amazing. But these new sharks really make it so interesting and enjoyable to watch.
These insoles are actually the real deal. They WORK
Why did they just rob this guy on live television ?
I had Cork insoles in my ski boots 20 years ago.
I literally almost died 😂 12:08
Couldn’t have wrote this script better myself
Obviously not 😊
Barbara called Robert all the way from America to let him know that she’s out.
😂 Sounds about right
They robbed him...50k for 40% and a royalty! Especially after all the emotions, but business is business 🦈
Mark Cuban is going to want a royalty for each time the watermelon example is used... 🤣
"Why isnt it translating into bigger sales"
um because the soles cost 100 dollars. Thats why Robert.
Robert my man! He just used Mark Cuban's dialogue "Piece of watermelon is better than a whole grape" hahaha
Loved it though...the moment he shared his story of how his dad went to jail, I was like - for sure Robert's in...very similar background mate!
Robert got emotional? Damn First time.
wrong he’s been emotional a few times on shark thank usa
Shame on the sharks for taking advantage of a good guy with a good product but does not have business skills.
How Sabri was roasted 😂
Why is Robert here lol😂 i was so confused.
For the popular face. A new old show needs someone who is popular
Guess Australia stole him from Shark Tank USA, the same way Shark Tank USA stole him from Dragon's Den Canada.
@@blixten1982Exactly that.
Because I've lived in Australia for 40 years and have no idea who those other Sharks are
Why are the original sharks not here. Oh Australia site
Since when was Robert on STA?
Love you Robert but you reminded me so much of Mrs. Doubtfire here! 😂
I like how he's happy being dumb nego.
Thieves sharks they give 50k for 45%,not fair . This Man should ask for 500k if she want to give his half business.
Congrats
How can I watch this in the US?
5:10 me too, you’re very cute Mr Davie
50K is nothing. Could have borrowed from bank and stayed his own boss. I was checking this product, saw it was $80 plus shipping and couldn't believe my eyes. Making money on people's suffering with foot problems while one pair costs $7. Ridiculous
They didn’t ask how he intends to use the $$
Cork insoles have been around for years
Since when is Robert on Shark Tank Australia...first 'Dragon's Den' in Canada n then 'Shark Tank' in USA...👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
$80k and 10% for each sharks.. sell it to the world
The AI lady deff wanted to add a fitness tracker into it or something
why did he take so long to say yes lol
Bruh whyd they skip all the negotiation with the four sharks 🤨 thats the best part! They just skipped right to the offer that he ended up accepting. Lame.
This guy looks very credible.
When Robert went so emotional, I thought maybe he’ll offer 50k for 20-25%… lmao mf sharks don’t got emotions changing money lol
Birkenstocks are made from that. He will have problems sooner or later. They’ve patent that
Why is it robert inshark tank australia?
Shark Tank Australia was the best, now it’s just proof that there is nothing you can’t make worst.
It's missing Steve
The 4th woman’s shoes changed every other shot 😂 plus she was very rude to the 1st guy
Where's Steve
Gonna take a while to get used to the new sharks... except Robert
wait what happened to the OGs for Australia????????
@@Techstormzz really not sure
Thats crazy😅. I wouldve countered 80k (20k each/Shark) no royalty lol
Sometimes there can be too many cooks in the kitchen. I would have taken 2 sharks for 20%
I still don't know what the final offer was lol
Was it, 4 sharks for $50k, a $2 royalty until the $50k is paid back they'll each get 10% of the business? What did that even mean?
@@user-ef5id9km3p You're right. Each shark gives him 12.5k each for 10% equity of the business. However each pair of product sold will give $2 back to the sharks (50 cents each) until their 12.5k investment is achieved. Then the $2 per product royalty goes away leaving the sharks with their 10% equity each. 6 months late but there's your answer.
They didn't say the royalty would end when the money was paid or did I miss something? I think they took advantage of him, he wasn't prepared to counter and was afraid to leave with no deal...
Robert telling his immigrant stories for over 45% of his life.
Almost every pitch
I wonder how much of it is even true
The AI lady found AI in soles 😅
aint no way Robert put on the water works relating to this entrepreneur and then hit him with the 50k for 45% ROBBERY smh
Robert got the quote from Mark
Why is robert stealing Cubans saying
I Think The Red Head Is A Stepford Wife She Acts Like A Robot 😮
$79.95 for insoles?????😮
That’s what I was thinking. I think 39.95 best price. I’m thinking that’s why he has low sales.
I’ve bought so many cheaper insoles. They didn’t work. Bought these and I’m on my feet 8-11 hours a day for work, in comfort. I wish I’d believed the hype to start with.
80 plus shipping unless ordered a second pair at 20% off. Still pretty pricey while the cost of one pair is $7. Just greedy.
40% for 50k with a $2 royalty??? What?? That's Greedy!! Basically they are getting 10% equity each for free!! Rip off!!
Barbara called to say she’s out
They're a competitor to Birkenstocks in a way. Good luck to him - not sure if having so many sharks is a good thing...
Yes, more is not necessarily better
seeing Robert brought me here
Selling half the business for $50k? That don’t make no sense
Disconnect here is $79 for some cork on my feet. Wouldn't pay more than $40 or $50 USD for this.
Good product but it's way too expensive. If it was $20 i would want pair now and i'm in Africa Namibia
Do you understand business? It's a quality product. Tooling costs, logistics, taxes, packaging and customer costs are huge these days!
@@MartyWoods-fu5cy the cost to make is only $7 so $20 is a fair price. That is almost 200% profit
Should be $45
@@nouveaurichewigs7514 for a shoe insole? 45 is way too much
feels strange seeing robert on shark tank australia
I have custom-made foam insoles costing about 1000$, u wanna tell me cork is better??
Cork is natural. Foam is cheap junk. Don't be proud you got ripped off.
Who is that giraffe
Robert gets all emotional. Offered to help. Than makes a horrible deal😡
Does anyone know where to watch it? I cant find it anywhere
10Play
Why is Robert in this shark tank ?
Real shark deal
Robert immigrant poor he never ask for 45% on shark tank in USA. Why he want to ripping offer this Vietnamese Man who is trying to success in life 😢😮
He has asked for that much on Shark Tank. I’ve seen him buy companies for 100%
they are loansharks
The royalties was over the top for this deal, they could have done it without it because they only have to move 25,000 units for their $12,500 investment to be paid back., $2 split by 4 for 12500. This can go 3 ways. Bad marketing doesn't make sales, or good marketing and makes millions, or license. This guy could have kept way more for $50k, but he'll find out if his going to makeillions sooner I guess. Easiest 3million he'll make on shopping channels.
That was a really bad deal giving away almost of half of your company that too with a 2 dollar royalty. The shark milked the poor guy like anything!
Barbara: I'm not in the show so im out
Robert - people make fun of us because we are immigrants! that's painful. me too!
Great product but a way too high margin
Tooling for something like this is $60000. If you don't understand business, it's probably time you educate yourself. Do you question Nike products? Big brands? They pay next to nothing for cheap labour.
No one deserves to have 45% of their business taken over by anyone just because they have money.
No one has to agree to any deal they don't want to.
@@cchavezjr7 most business owners wouldn’t take it. But greedy investors offering more than 25%+ aren’t doing it to help that business they are doing it to stay rich.
@@pahcsva How do you think investors make money? It's always about getting the most ownership for the lowest price. Again, nobody forces any business owner to accept the offers.
The guy isn't a business savvy person. Sigh, he should of asked for more money, reduced it to 30 or 35% and the royalty would end after the sharks got their money back. He got ripped off abd he needs to reduce the cost of his product to $49.99
These people are way too greedy 😮
AI AI AI - Good god! lol
Robert got sharky tears 😄. But what an end!
2$ royalty is too much man
