Pressure treated wood posts will last a long long long time… The posts that were removed from the previous fence had no rot whatsoever, and they had been there for over 25 years.

Question, wouldn't metal post be better. Don't the wood post rot over time from rain and moisture?

In my opinion, they are an UNBELIEVABLE waste of money.
