Why is there this stereotype that Russian men are ugly? I don't understand this, if they say that Russian women are beautiful, so are the men because they are from the same people. Or am I wrong?

I went for a first date with Russian man. We had fun, have a blast, laugh and sharing until end of the date. Thought we had a connection. When I message him the next day, I have to wait longer then before then finally he answered me in a rude way. Then ghosted me. I think it's weird. Because usually I won't bother as both of us are working and busy. As an adult it's best to tell the truth rather than ghosted a person. That is just rude.

As a Russian man I could say that Russian women simply don't have choise because they live in Russia and 100% of people around a citizens of Russia. If they had choise they would all prefer foreigners and they dream about marying a foreigner and imigrate to rich countries with them. Everything that was said about Russian men in this video is true for majority of Russian men, but of course not all Russian men are like this.

Well as a Russian man it’s not straightforward like that. First Russian man open to international dating are often not the same people as some average Russian blue collar Ivan from working class neighbourhood. Second…generation matters and there is a difference btw generations(more than it”s in other countries). In general stereotypes are not always true people have been raised in different circumstances and generally becoming less dependent on “social culture” and social traditions of their homeland.
