Thanks for all your hard work. May i make video suggestion? When you finish with all exhausts, maybe make some graphs on all you tested with no.1 through i dont know 10th? Best results as far as power and torque, maybe sound db
You wouldn’t be able to make headed or tails if it. The lines would all be really close. I’ve tried it in the past If you want to see one system compared to another email me through the website and I can email them to you.
Ha! sounds much better in this video than other videos I've seen. Proves videos don't always reveal naked-ear sound. Good tone however. Did they anticipate air delivery, dropped out of a UPS 747 with that packaging? Good work David. Love this platform more than just about any other motorcycle made. Question: does any system for 2021-2024 MT-09 also fit on an 2022-2024 XSR900?
@@vcyclenut Ah okay. I'd wondered if the mounting point for the mid section had changed from one to the other. I guess some studying of parts fish might help.
I have this exhaust on my ‘23 XSR with your tune & it’s awesome !! My only gripe is the “works” finish. Within 900 miles it started to get surface rust. I contacted Yosh & instructed me how to remove the rust with bar keepers friend… now the coating is gone, and it’s rusting faster. Yosh said no warranty even with my proof of following their instructions. Very sad. $1500 CAD for the AT2 system.
Its weird , yoshi local shop tried to instal the exhaust on my 2024 mt with no sucsses due to the fact that theres two oxygen valves , unlike the 2023 mt09 which had only one...
So looking at your stock vs tune map, why does your map start at 3.2k rpm where stock starts at 2.7k? Might be a dumb question but I am really curious and trying to understand the full concept. I have noticed on my 2024 MT09 that you cant really do any "quick" revs (like the engine needs to build power up first) and it seems like when you twist the throttle there is a half second lag (only starting at 0 throttle). Does the new exhaust or the tune take care of that issue or is it a combination of the two?
The map starts at idle There is a record button on the dyno. I just hit it at a little different rpm. The tune tunes everything from idle to redline and all throttle positions A dyno run is just full throttle This is why I use so much street tuning to properly tune all throttle positions There should not be any lag. Is traction control maybe kicking in
I have a question. In the Akra Carbon video you claim that the stock bike is 65 DB at idle(From your testing of course), but here with the insert you claim the DB level is only 63. Could that be a mistake or some inaccuracy of the test, or is the yoshi with the insert genuinely quieter than stock? Because the latter would be extremely disappointing.
@@vcyclenut thanks for your answer. i wonder if i take this one or the TOCE Exhaust Razor for my MT09SP '24. Apparently, 2WDW claims the TOCE is the best on this bike. i just want airbox mod, MWR HE filter, and full exhaust ... i hope 120whp + with a good mapping 🙄
@@subamax8482 my toce system is on the way and I’ll be testing it next week. Don’t look at dyno numbers like that. Dynometers have variation from dyno to dyno. So I’m sure on some dyno’s the bike makes 120hp with the stock exhaust and my flash. Look at gains under the curve. Oh no Yoshi is back to the spray foam. Wtf!! I thought they'd stopped with that. Love this exhaust though, having trouble deciding on it or the Akra. Like the look of the Akra slightly more. Tough call, lots of good choices!
Best looking exhaust for this bike, and looks like one of the best, if not the best, performing!
If I get a Mt09, this is the exhaust that I will get.
Bike is looking good man!
Thank you sir!!

I had the EXACT same feelings about how Yosh packs their exhausts when I out one on my XSR. Even down to the preferring packing peanuts to it.
lol yea it’s pretty ridiculous
You guys got unlucky I guess. Mine came with the foam bags that contour to whatever shape for packing material.
nice work, awesome
Thank you! Cheers!

In the usa market they almost all do. In European markets the 24 got 2 o2 sensors and most systems only have one bung.
@@vcyclenut Ah okay. I'd wondered if the mounting point for the mid section had changed from one to the other. I guess some studying of parts fish might help.
no thats the same
as long as its not using the passenger pegs in some way to mount it they will fit from the 21 to the 24

Will the stage 2 airbox add horse power to this setup with your tune??
Adds power in the midrange with a slight loose on top on all
Setups.

Have you tried the toce exhaust yet? Some people are saying this exhaust is the best for the mt09 right now. some are making 120hp with this exhaust
It’s on my bike now. Street tuning is done. Dyno tuning will be done early this week
Will keeping the foam in the insert but using the dna air filter change the fueling at all or would that set up be the same as what you have now?
the filter made no gains for me, just curious why you would not remove the foam

David, have you tested Hindle exhaust systems on either the Suzuki or Yamaha platforms?
I have tested them in the past they have always performed well

Yep I am able to flash the sp

The db level is not constant. It fluctuates a little. I would interpret as they are close to the same level
short pipe looks kinda cool but those welds are just horrible
I think the coating makes them look bad

Are you able to tune the US model 2024 MT09 SP’s yet?
Yes I am.
