Hey David I just got my sc project crt installed, I’m going to buy the tune here very soon, I have some questions, I want to know the really loud pops on decell around 2k rpm will those be gone? I really like the super loud pops around 2k , I also will still want to use cruise control, I will just have to have o2 sensor plugged in an it should work right? And the top speed limit will be gone right?

Hello i have the V-strom 800 DE with Yoshimura slip on rs-12 adv i dont have flash but when i compare stage 1 airfilter with stage 2 it is louder but it feels slower i feel like i am loosing power is this normal ? do i need the flash to see deference ? thnx in advance ! @vcyclenut

This is a great post. All this time I was misled to believe that my bike pops because it is lean which is not always the case.

In the ecu tune does the o2 sensor still need to be enabled for this to work? My tune has it disabled and I still have the 02 sensor hooked up but the cruise light still flashes

I have a question. In the Akra Carbon video you claim that the stock bike is 65 DB at idle(From your testing of course), but here with the insert you claim the DB level is only 63. Could that be a mistake or some inaccuracy of the test, or is the yoshi with the insert genuinely quieter than stock? Because the latter would be extremely disappointing.

I do have some questions around eliminating the o2 sensors and changes in elevation; if you flash a machine and remove the o2 sensors at sea level, what happens when the bike is transported to an elevation of 5,000ft? Is the MAP/Manifold pressure sensors able to correct for this to understand the change in the barometric pressure? If you need to retunre for elevation and do not have access to a good dyno tuner, how would you approach this situation? I know tools such as TuneECU can log data while you ride, but without ARF, are you shooting in the dark to understand how to change a fueling or timing table? Is it worth hooking up an AFR gauge to the bungs in the exhaust to understand where it is while riding? I appreciate your help. I had an FZ1 with your tune on it and really enjoyed it. I moved a 2008 KTM Super Duke 990 R and I'm trying to understand all of the mods the previous owner had done.

DNA says its needed for covering the drain hole in the top left of the airbox with the screw they provide. They specify that it should be screwed from the outside, which requires removing the entire airbox-a time-consuming process. Instead, I opted to screw it from the inside, securing it with red Loctite. Hopefully, this will work just as well.

What's the deal with that O2 wire? It just flaps in the breeze?

I wish you would’ve shown us how it sounds on the dyno. Nobody has sound clips of this setup under load.

I have a 15 r1 and a 21 mt09sp. I go for the mt09 8/10 times. The r1 is a blast, dont get me wrong, and when the cp4 sings its my stairway to heaven. Problem is, i never know if im coming home with my liscense or without 😂 i get so carried away its stupid, and my god is it uncomfy in low speeds, anythint under 90km/h rly. Its just to much for street use. Im selling the r1 next season, as ive got 2 kids now i think i have bigger chances making it home on the mt09. I ride as i should most of the time, but when the suns up, temp is good and ur feeling at 1 with the bike, its feels like a waste not going a little bit ham. If u cannot have fun on a mt09 and think its to little power, theres something wrong with u 😂 ive lowered the bars, got new resrsets and a steering damper for the 09, and its a perfect allrounder now. However im trying the 24 mod next year, and a r9.

how do i remove the o2 sensor without taking the tank off? i’ve been trying with my hands but it seems like it doesn’t want to come off. What did you use or do I have to press a button?

Been running this exhaust all summer. Love the improved low and mid range power. Mine was popping excessively on decel. I just brought it in and Ducati remapped it. Now it doesn’t pop every time on decel but when it does it’s louder/ more violent.

I love both bikes, owned a 1st gen MT-10 and I’ve ridden a few MT-09’s. The MT-09 especially the new gen is great and a easier to use all around package. However that CP4 in the MT-10 is just godly.
