- There are two songs in this little clip, in the first Aled sings "How Beautiful Are The Feet" from Handel's Messiah, and in the second, Aled sings "Panis Angelicus" with Stuart Burrows. This programme came from St Davids Hall in Cardiff, and was recorded in 1985. "Panis Angelicus" is the version that was used in the making of the video "The Treble". This is porduced solely to promote Aled and his music.

The Great Aled Jones, definitely my favorite boy soprano of all the time.
Until about 2 months ago I would have said the same. I then heard Malakai Bayoh. Now I would say Aled is one of my two favourite boy sopranos.
Haven’t heard Aled sing that before. What a treat. First saw Stuart Burrows sing in Moriah Chapel, Abercynon in my youth.. My great uncle, Prof David Erasmus accompanied him on the organ. I was so impressed with Stuart at the time. Two great Welsh singers🏴🏴
Aled sempre cantando com muita segurança!
One of the finest Tenors ever ..💕💕💕 and Aled is adorable .😊
Stuart has a glorious tenor voice
Had the great pleasure of meeting Stuart Burrows at a Dublin concert some years ago. Wonderful tenor and a lovely pleasant personality. He was so encouraging to young Aled, another great singer.
Aled sings in"The Snowman"which was very good....
Lindo demais!❤❤❤❤
I agree! It is sacred. The voices such a precious gift from God, and such a precious moment for each of the performers. Aled had a record of Stuart Burrows and had practised singing that part, with the recording. When Burrows asked him if they could sing together, he was all prepared. But how he sang so well, being clasped against the chest of that mighty tenor, is really amazing!
aled, amazing and gracious performance. thank you aled and stuart for bringing such joy and purity to this world on New Years Eve 2019. God bless you for bringing such joy, wonder and awe at this special time.

Aled Jones has done well over the years his singing is great .all the programmes he has done over the years .and classical music .
How beautiful was his treble voice before he grew up. I didn't know him then.
goosebumps!
Beautiful 😍
I have the whole documentary of Aled's discovery by the BBC from a letter written by a Miss Edwina Olwig Evans transposed to DVD. It includes the above performance. Aled, afterwards said he had hiryth. (rough translation: "a longing for that which had been")
I'd forgotten how good their voices were at that time. Aled did well to be heard above Burrows voice, especially as he was having his shoulders and upper chest unnecessarily constricted for most of the time.
Simply astounding!
Breathtaking. Thank you.
He was Lucky. My voice broke when I was 13 and a half. He was 16 when his changed....
The conductor is Robin Stapleton who was the resident conductor for all of the Stuart Burrows Sings programmes.
It's one of my favorites!
Never have I heard such perfection. I would think the members of the orchestra will remember forever playing their part in it.
Cute! What a boy! ^.^
Classical beauty is a joy forever. Well done !
It's the fact that his trousers are very high-waisted. We are used to them being worn low around the hips.
🌹🌹🌹💕🎄👏👏
Glad you liked it..
Waiata mai, korua, ka wane ke !!
Thanks for the info..
Alej Jones chamou Malakai bayoh ❤
Nice
Unfortunately I dont not have the credits from this programme, so I am not to sure who the conductor was, but if I find out, I will let you know.
29.12.2020 Аледу Джонсу исполнилось 50 лет 💐💐💐🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🎄♥️💜❤👏🙏
I am six months older than Aled and remember him as a treble. I was fifteen here (now aged 52). He is 52 in December - I reached that figure in June!
Wonderful performance. It's also just struck me that Aled seems to have very long arms and legs in comparison with the rest of his body!
That is often so when youth (teenager) are growing up but not the rule. Then first the extremities are growing.

You’ve heard the saying….”All arms & Legs”. Now you know why.
Dear fans of Aled Jones, I am searching for "the best" boy soprano ever. Two of my proposals are Anthony Way and Lluis Travesset (Escolania de Montserrat). Add to this: Ferdinand Silhanek - the double of "Tony" in "Almost Angels" - and Ferdinand Jankowitsch. Both were members of the Vienna Boys´ Choir.
Add Ernest Lough ,whose 1927 recording of "Hear my prayer" was EMI's first million discs seller
Let me add here the following link. There we are able to find more information about well known boy soloists: www.boysoloist.com/index.asp
By the way: Verry good boy soloists were also the brothers Terry and Lorin Wey (VBC) and is the very current (!) Aksel Rykkvin from Norway !!!
Let me also recommend the documentaries "Silk Road" and "L´Or des Anges"...:))) The last one is a must for fans of boys choirs !
Timothy Barber . Walking in the Air
Phillip, in the vienna Boys Choir, Askel Rykvyn, Cai Thomas Regis Mengus, Jean Baptiste Maunier, of course lots of boys from Libera
