Nice and interesting video, hope you don’t get the same issue I had with my Wahoo SpeedPlays after a couple of months of riding (hope they fixed the issue).
Thanks!
What is your experience after 6 months? So far I had 2 pairs which needed exchange due to the 'clicking' sound and some play along the axis. It means free cleats, but I am surprised that Wahoo did not solve the problem yet... otherwise I like new design way better. Hope that some time we will have once again the pave version.
Video coming up
Are the new cleats compatible with the old speedplay pedals?
I had the old speedplay pedals with titanium axles and I bought the new wahoo aero. Are the axles the same, can I put the titanium axles of my old speedplay pedals on my wahoo?
No, they’re different
Hi, thanks for the video. Dulight shop (from description) has note on TITANIUM PLATES FOR SPEEDPLAY WAHOO that it is NOT compatible with Aero model. But you use it on Aero model. Was there any problem? Thnaks
A slight modification is required
I am new to cleats in general, but is there a reason you didn't go with the double sided pedal?
Aerodynamics are more important for me
Is it possible to mount old speedplay aero bottom part with new wahoo zero pedal?
No, the pedal body is one piece in both cases. There’s no “bottom part”. The aero version of the wahoo pedal is widely available.
Thank you for immediate and substantive answer, wish you all the best!
I thought Wahoo didn't recommend to change spindles saying it is not replaceable.
Tried zeros but had a play into each pedal after indoor test ride and returned them.
Hope your aeros are issue free.
It’s pretty easy to do actually 🙂
Where did you get the titanium covers ? You could heat them with a blow torch and change the colour 🌈
Link in the description. Good idea!
@@ronykuba nice one

Well, I never was and I never will be.
Wd40? Are you sure?

You're not a real weight weenie until you start drilling out your components.

Are the new cleats compatible with the old speedplay pedals?
