You and Misty are enablers. And I love it! 😂 These dolls are awesome. Thanks for the video of making the pumpkin gal. I think I would enjoy making and having some 😁👍
So Cute! I vacillate between happiness that you introduced this project, and resentment. I do NOT need to get into new crafts. I have waaaay more that I can ever sew or stitch in my lifetime. I feel myself at the edge of the slippery slope. Here I go.....wheee! Best, K
I love Liza,so cute. The more you do the easier and faster they will become. Frankenstein turned out well also.Keep going with those,Why not,Right..... That poly fill is the one i use also. Just an FYI if you take your polyfill and pull it apart several times, before inserting it ,it will give you better coverage,(fill). Those doll needles will serve you well, for storage of them,i store mine in a long empty pill bottle that i put a good size label on,so it's easy to find in my supplies. You have a good thing going on and you're very good at it,so keep it up.Always be willing to try new things,ya never know what you may come to love. Thanks for sharing.
Omg how CUTE!!! This is making me smile ❤️ THANK U! Omg I gotta do this! I found a Primitive Abe Lincoln and a primitive cow....now o stop myself from running downstairs to the quilting studio!
I really enjoyed your video, make me smile while I was walking in the morning. Im dreaming to make primitive dolls for a long time, Im going to use your happiness and go for it. ❤️. Your dolls are soooo beautiful
How dare you! I thought I was through with my doll making days .then you come along and introduce me to these delightful children. I love them. I don't know if I should blame you for my doll desires or remember that I had it before and thought it was over, but if it was why do I still have the supplies? Sending you hugs and some for you new additions .
LOL, I've done the same thing. See something, have to make that something, forget everything else until that something is made. The crafting freak out. LOVE IT!!! Those dolls are too freaking adorable!! Thanks for sharing these sites!
Hello! Very cute new craft you got going on.......Pretty cute pumpkin girl and Frankenstein! He reminds me of Herman Munster! You could do a whole Dance party! “Monster Mash”?! LOL Party on/Craft on Lindy stitches! 😂
Thanks so much for bringing the attention to these, i just bought frankenstein, dracula & haggie lou. I will be buying more, for sure. I made some primitive soldier dolls for my mom a few year ago from an etsy seller, it was one kind of soldier but i made both out of the same pattern for her & she loves them. These kind are so simple to make & so charming when done. I never put coffee in my paint before, i might try that, i like how your orange turned out. A primitive orange is hard to get right. I use osnaburg for cross stitching! Im doing almost all my Country Rustic Primitive patterns on it, they call for it. I of course beat it up first, washing then coffee/tea staining it for that perfect prim grunge.
Im a prim maker. You're making me feel weird about it! Lol! Your stuff turned out great. I like the grungy. More grungy than what you have there. Glad ur liking it..I love it! Thanks for sharing ♡
I thoroughly enjoyed this video!! I used to make dolls so this was so fun to watch; glad you enjoyed diving into your crafty self. Both dolls are adorable. I look forward to seeing more of what you create. Hugs and happy stitching and crafting...........................
Those dolls are the cutest!! Please insert a pic of your future dolls as you make them. They are the perfect wonkiness to brighten up our lives. Good job!!
Stephanie! Your pumpkin girl is adorable and Frankie too! Great job!! You are so talented! I have been collecting prim dolls (mostly raggedy ann's) for a while now and my absolute favorite is my pumpkin girl! She's out for the fall and I keep her out until winter. She looks a lot like yours but she is much grungier looking lol! Thank you for sharing!!
Love Frankie! The pumpkin head expression is adorable and fitting. Too much expression, I feel, would take it from cute to scary. Stick with cute, don't want to scare anyone.
You always make me laugh. I feel so much better now that I've had a good laugh. Your primitive dolls are really cute. You make grunge fun. Hee, hee. I've been out to Chestnut Junction. Their patterns are really cute and inexpensive. But I need to get stitching. Always look forward to your videos. Stay safe and well. Till next time.
OMG, I love the dolls. Olivia from Pumpkin Hollow quilts made some painted and stained pumpkins and ghosts. I need to download the patterns before the season is over and I miss out! Can’t wait for your next crafting tangent.

Omg I totally get your sudden obsession. How cute are they? I even found myself thinking wow they look fun to make. No, I do not need another hobby, I will not look up the patterns, I will just watch you make them and try and behave. Love them so much. Loved to watch the excitement on your face as you made then. Great job. Super cute. Looking forward to seeing more! J x
Both dolls are very adorable. You did great. It's your doll, grunge or not. As a doll maker myself, I would have grunged a bit as I like a dirtier looking monster. But yours are just adorable. Hope you make more as they should sell on Etsy if you choose to do that. Hugs
Oh Stephanie you are just the best most amazing breath of fresh air I just watched your video and you had me crying I absolutely loved it the dolls are so beautiful I really want to make them I had also watched those videos I love the prim stuff but here in ireland it is not the thing I though wave my weird flag I love crows and zombies and just all things different you always make me smile and I really think you are amazing thank you so much for being you oh and google tone Finager who designs the tilda range she does a modern scandi prim thank you so much I shall send a picture of my finished Dracula confession Angela in ireland 🇮🇪 🙃
Another use I like to use the Osnaburg Fabric for is in Rag Quilts. I like to insert a couple layers between the quilting fabric because when the Osnaburg gets wet it get softens up very nicely and also frays allot so it makes a wonderful raggy fringey look in the seams of the pieces. Warning though.... you will have to clean all the extra loose frayed pieces out of the washer when you wash it to create the raggy effect.
They came out so adorable 😍 love 💕 them both that I stop 🛑 and purchased a few patterns!! Can’t wait to get started thank you for sharing. Have a great evening and happy crafting 😊❤️🤗
