They'll even eat each other.. here in south Texas I once saw a 10 lb fish trying to swallow a 6 and netted them up
@@coltonrobinson149 I’m from Lake Fork. (East Texas) and I’ve pulled out a 2 1/2 lb crappie stuck in a 8lbers mouth and throat .
I’m from East Texas too and we found a huge whole snake wrapped up in the belly of a catfish we were cleaning caught out of a stock pond. Texas fish are no joke.

I personally love using odd lures like this! Bass don’t really care they just want to kill everything during the summer months!

My toad dangler shirt I've had for years is still my favorite shirt!
Years ago when I was very young and I was out bass fishing, I stumbled upon the dangler technique purely by accident. I had tossed my rubber frog over a limb unintentionally and was starting to pull in the slack when a largemouth slammed the lure. It was one of the most exciting accidents while I was fishing that I found worked and I do it intentionally now.
Wait, how did u get the fish in if the lure was hanging over the log in the air when the fish attacked? Wouldn't u of had to pull the fish over to log too just to be able to reel it in?

I just seen these at the store today! And I thought to myself, self, will these things work? I have to say, that they look really well made, they truly look like a big ass spider, fooled my wife when I brought it home and left it laying out on the table!! Lol!! I just happen to have a couple of those Lunkerhunt Spiders . A little Store right in my Hometown has those lures and I had a hunch that those would be some serious WEAPONS . I know what I'M doing this coming Weekend !

I picked one up a few months ago and have thrown it around a little bit with no luck. I’ll have to try fishing it a little faster. I was moving it really slow like a popper.

I’m pretty convinced anything small like this you drag across the water bass will tear up. I have known a lot of people call them freshwater sharks because they will eat just about anything that fits in their mouth lol

I just tried these lures yesterday, partly because of this video. I was amazed at the number of fish I caught!!! I had trouble learning how to get a good hook up but here's the thing, the bass would keep coming back to hit it. Like 3-4 times and it was different feel than the strike on some lures. Just saying they will be in my box from now on.
We just got the spiders locally. I’ll have to give it a try!

We have tarantulas native here where I live in Texas but not sure if they venture close enough to the lakes and ponds but would love to find a lure mimicking one of those. That’s one thing I am Not hooking lol.

I have one of these lunkerhunt spider phantom lures, however I do not use it.
I have it sitting on my tv stand in the box like a collectors item something like that. The reason I don't use it I only fish for trout and that's it. Can't help it, I love spiders they're awesome. I even have a black widow spider tattoo on my shoulder.
I have several mice because they work for Saltwater and freshwater. I might have to try these around docks and pilings
