Hi Thanks for sharing the info. I have Pride Victory 10 scooter and I thought I had to buy a travel scooter to go on airplanes. All I have to check are the locations wheelers service. Did you have to pay the airline to carry your scooter on board? Please, keep doing videos of all the places you guys travel to see what options there are for scootering ppl. Blessings on all your journeys!
I hope you know you have a modified vehicle (lift) and your parking is FREE at the airport. I always park in the short term for 2 to 3 weeks with no issues. With DAV plates it's FREE also
Hi, I just came across your RUclips channel and I have a question. I recently began renting mobility scooters when we travel. It’s expensive not to mention time consuming and frustrating having to disassemble and reassemble. My questions are: Other videos I’ve seen TSA required the battery to be removed and carried on the plane. Did you have to do that? Also, I noticed you didn’t have to disassemble your mobility scooter at the airport. Do they not require that the scooter be disassembled? I love the information of renting a disability vehicle/van as we were renting a regular minivan as well. Oh vey 😮😊
@@roudy4607 great question. I am a big guy so I need a bigger scooter. My batteries do not need to be removed as they are sealed. I’m asked that question at the baggage check counter. I would definitely recommend removing the arm rests for airline travel. Easier for the airline to handle.
Thank you very much for showing this. 😊
@@donkenmuir9504 you’re very welcome.
Great video! Thank you for your service! ❤

He threw another persons stroller on the ground 😮
When you de-planed how did you get to the scooter? Baggage carousel or waiting at gate?
@@ronaero1 they bring it as you deplane. Just like how they meet you with the wheelchairs.
Do the airlines charge extra to take your scooter?
@@suehall639 no they don’t.
