What a cute little aircraft ! I think Air Canada looks like an excellent airline !

Love this! Before moving to Vancouver, I used to take the Montreal to Toronto route very often by air. Especially at the beginning and end of academic semesters as well as reading breaks, these flights are also very popular for university students, at least before the pandemic.
The A220 is definitely a much-needed upgrade compared to its previous Airbus fleet and I think Air Canada really did a great job to make itself stand out on this route compared to its competitors: other airlines and ground transportation!

Thanks! I’ve been loving the A220 on this route, very comfortable and certainly a big upgrade compared to the old A320s

I love the way you have documented your trip, very detailed and engaging. You did not tell us if you arrived in time for your meeting considering that I got anxious with you during the trip

I flew on one of these last year and really really liked it. Though i dont remember the E190s very well, i also flew one of those 10 years ago. The difference in tech is crazy, that old Thales system is well and surely jurassic at this point. 😂 flying 2 MAX 8’s soon, plus an A320 on my return flight, so one more “farewell” to the dinosaur age IFE 😂

I thought your seat was a preferred one with more legroom. Good video.

Row 13 on this aircraft is not considered preferred, but row 12 ahead of it is as that’s the bulkhead row. Thanks for watching!

2:20 looks like they have abandoned the automatic sizers!

    • @WillAviation

Unfortunately they haven’t! This was filmed back in September 2021, and I flew just yesterday from Toronto and the sizers are still active…

Just flew from YVR to YUL with the A220 (Seat 25D) and honestly, flying economy anywhere over 3 hours with A220 is kinda torture.

I did a 5 hour flight with the a220, a lot better than the other options of narrow bodies

Thank you! I use an iPhone 13 for all footage except the wing view during takeoff and landing; for those I use a Canon Rebel T4i

Do you know how in-flight entertainment works when you are in the first row of economy (no seat in front of you)?

    • @WillAviation
      @WillAviation  Год назад

On this aircraft the screens are mounted on the wall in front of the first row of Economy seats!

I did! The ride downtown was only 30 minutes, so 15 minutes to spare!

OMG the loud music at the end. Ruined the landing for me. Ppl come to plane videos to hear the authentic engine sound so that they can feel like they are actually travelling with the traveller and can experience the thrill & joy of flying

You need to arrive at the airport a minimum of 2 hours prior to your flight even for domestic flights. This includes people who are traveling with carryon luggage only.
