Why are we questioning Insom at all? They don't crunch their workers, they put out quality games every time despite whatever reservations people may have. Literally PlayStations best studio in terms of output and work culture. Who cares how many projects they're working on? As long as they want to make what they're making leave em be

People (incl this panel) need to explain not every dept in a studio works on a game at the same time;. The concept artists could have just finished Wolverine, but they're not gonna twiddle their thumbs for the next 2-3 years util Wolverine ships - they get put on a new project. Same with QA testers or motion capture - Spider-Man 2 is shipping soon, but maybe those who finished the motion capture on it will start Wolverine soon. It's not like the departments are ALL working on ALL 3 projects at once. It's an assembly line, and it does mean you don't get the 100-200 layoffs that happen in other studios with only one game in the pipeline every time a 4-7yr game cycle finishes development.
To the question of Insomniac working on too many projects. With the quality, lack of crunch, and cadence of getting projects out; they have proven that they can handle it. Every game they've made has been a more than valuable experience for me.
I thought game-themed faceplates since the PS5 reveal were a no brainer. I know they want to sell more machines, but I bet they're going to make a killing on the Spidey plates and I hope they see the light and open up more availability. I've been appreciative of some of the game-themed consoles over the years, but never wanted to saddle myself to just one for years and years. Now I can swap them out anytime.

Not sure why people are concerned about insomniac working on 3 games. If you look at their output they’ve BEEN working on at least 2 or 3 possibly 4 titles at once. If anything this just confirms that their leadership teams are top notch and efficient. Of course if some report comes out with damning info to a toxic work culture we would have reason to reassess, but as of now all the evidence suggests Insomniac is cruising at top speed.

I feel like in the first one, they dolled up MJ's face, just like they did for Tess in the original Last of Us. Even 2017 when they were making the original, let's not forget, was a different world than today when it comes to the presentation of women in media. So in this one, it seems like they just scanned the actress' face 1:1 instead of touching her up to look abnormally perfect. The actress has jagged, real edges on her face like real people do, its how she should've looked in the first place really.

you can tell how many folks don't read the comics. characters change their look depending on the run they're in, and most don't even look the same inside the book as they do on the cover. also, when it comes to the games, time passes in them, so characters looking older, having different hair length/style, etc. doesn't bother me at all.
They could've just done a black faceplate with the with white spider and use a bunch of tiny Spider-Man/Venom heads to replace the PlayStation symbols.

Man, there is something about their faces in Spider-Man. I think is how hard the “lines” are between their character models and the background. They look like magazine cutouts almost.
yeah the faces in the trailer just seem off, and I remember thinking the original Peter redesign wasn't that bad, but seeing it in the trailer, he almost looks more like an NPC model whereas everyone else looks like they came from more realistic face models or actual ppl, vs some weird amalgamation of diff Hollywood spidey actors.
Honestly, I'd be fine if the face actually looked like Ben Jordan at all. The orignal face actually looked like John Bubniak. Remastered Peter sort of looked like Ben, but it's even less so now.

Them changing Peters face is definitely one of the dumbest decisions in videogame history. The original face had so much charisma, it's just all missing from his new face. We will get over it, but whenever I see them side by side, it's just obvious that the original face is better.
