    Awesome tutorial bro. Very basic and easy to follow. I've never used reverb..sounds great. I may have to use this as a base for a preset👍🏽. Shout out to the guy from the quiet storm for the vocals 😂. Nice Dash

    • @KaganTech
      @KaganTech  7 лет назад +1

      +Keyser Reveal Lmao... I forgot to mention in the video that you could basically just find what figures work for you and store as a preset. Definitely saves you time. Another fun fact is I never even master my vocals in audition cuz I can basically do the same thing in final cut... But all in all. Dash was the star of the show. He's gonna get all the girls with the vocals in his videos now 😂

    My podcast came out sounding super good! For a female voice, I did Gently Hi Cut and Gentle Low Boost. Instead of 10% reverb, I did 8% to keep it sounding just a smidge more intimate. I plan to use this as a preset from now on! But if you want it to sound more like radio, 10% sounds just like that, IMHO.

    What changes would you recommend if you were to be editing a woman's voice inside Audition? Are there any tips you would recommend for that?

    • @KaganTech
      @KaganTech  6 лет назад +3

      Well I'd say EQ a little different. Especially in the case that said woman has an high pitched voice. You may need to knock down the hi-end and do a lot more sibilance control with a De-Esser.

      Easy, just list all the plugins and effects on the side bar in multitrack section instead of using on the file directly and click the save preset icon. Done.

    You didn`t watch the levels of the voice bro, at the end, the voice bar was red and orange and that`s not that good, you could normalize it again!

  • @tedhuggins764
    @tedhuggins764 3 года назад

    I thought you showing the process of using EQ, compression and normalisation was good.
    But the last part about adding Reverb, I have to be honest, sounded a bit ridiculous because really, your not supposed to do that for voiceover that’s spoken word ie. RUclips commentary and podcasts.
    The whole point of those two examples, podcasts especially, is that the voiceover is meant to sound as clean and professional as possible, reverb is nice but only when used to give a voice some flavour in a song mix that needs it. In simple spoken word voice over, EQ, compression and normalisation is all you need 90% of the time.
    Thank you

    • @KaganTech
      @KaganTech  3 года назад
