    thank you sir. i was about to take more of it appart. that extra screw goes on the small post thats hidden by the lever.

    Great video. My COV hose is fine. My issue is the COV is slow to move to the floor/brush setting. The hose moves very slowly and sometimes stops halfway. All the stock/OEM springs are the same as your video. Any help would be appreciated.

      Remove the attachment hose and inspect to see if there is a foreign object stuck in the hose. That’s what I find when similar symptoms are observed

      @@richardsvacuumcenter I figured it out. There was a loose screw on the changeover mechanism. One the right side looking from behind. I tightened it up and it seems to be fixed. You video helped me tear down the vacuum to find the issue. Thanks again.
