Yep, as a parent, I totally agree. Plus, giving even MORE personal information like IDs, facial records, etc to a malicious and predatory company like Facebook is a BAD, BAD, BAD idea. And what Facebook might consider artistic, like showcasing a transgender kid as being creative and artsy, is NOT my idea of OK. Talk to some de-transitioners who are trying to undo the awful damage done to them by adults; sadly, it can't be undone and now they have to live with this man-made handicap the rest of their lives. They don't need to just acquire digital skills. They need to be taught digital skills. There's a difference. Letting them run free on the internet is not the way to do it: It's something that must be actively taught in schools.

Demand is just too high, and even if all the commercial sites are somehow shut down people will eagerly set up their own shadow communities. People just really, really like porn.
