Im back again with the other route from Chicago.
I also do a depot run from the garage into downtown which makes the video a bit longer. I am loving this map

New Flyers are very popular buses in the U.S. I think this powertrain is Cummins ISM and ZF transmission. I'm not from Chicago so I wouldn't know for sure. Not really a fan of low floor buses either. A lot major cities in the U.S. has them. My public transportation system is statewide (NJ TRANSIT) we started to get low floor buses 2 yrs ago. I hope they do a add on for Newark, NJ or Philadelphia, Pa. Septa whole fleet was Neoplans now it's New Flyer that dominate it. Those philly drivers are no joke, driving down tight neighbor streets.
Eamons85 Not sure if you know yet but you need to have your foot on the brake to change gear. Also your aloud to hang a right on red lights unless theres a sign saying not too!

Hello, great video as always. This by for is the best addon so far Omsi, as it features much more, than in my opinion the overpriced o305 stadtbus and Vienna map, especially the Vienna map which only offers one bus and a short 30 minute route as well as a few ai trains and are then asking for an extra 5 euro for an extra route. While Chicago offers two routes, depot, voice pack, ai vehicles and so many exciting features. This addon is the first in my opinion to be good value for money, Hamburg is good too but it's a bit old, so it doesn't have the features Chicago has to offer. Darius has put a lot of effort in and the map is made to the same quality of Berlin Spandau, absolutely fantastic map. What do you think about the prices of addons, just out of curiosity.
TransportEnthusiast4 I dont mind paying for the addons if im honest. I do agree with you in regards the 0305 addon, i think we were totally ripped off with there price. With Vienna, i do like the bus they gave us, and i drive it often, but what they are doing witht he extra €5 to upgrade is terrible, I really wish they would not do that.
I would say hamburg is my favourite map of them all before Chicago came out, the buses in Hamburg are the best Omsi has to offer.
Then we have the new X10 which is due out shortly too. I dont know what is happening ith that, but im not really excited about it. I cant see myself liking anything better than Chicago and Hamburg.
Thanks forgiving your opinion. The thing about addons is I don't mind paying if their good value for money. Cause when you consider there are so many maps and buses that are free and even better it had to offer something better and more than just a map and bus. I agrre with you what they totally ripped people off with the o305. It was also very sly, as in Omsi 2 you have it as an ai, and well it's one of those buses that should be in the game when you buy it, as it's always been their as a static object. Basically it's one of the buses that you need to get the full omsi 2 berlin-spandau experiene. It also uses Neundorf a standerd fictional German map as an "excuse" to ask for more money, even though it is exactly the same as any fictional German map. Vienna the map does look good, but Viewapp in my opinion have been too greedy as they didn't do any much more than make a bus, map and ai trams, just content wise it's a bit lacking to be asking for extra money for another route and bus, which Chicagi already has without making Chicago 1 and 2. Berlin X10 isn't something I am excited by as we already have a Berlin map and there are so many free Berlin addons. As with the bus it's something you can get for free as-well since it already exists. Darius on the other hand focuses on making good qaulity addons rather than on trying to rip people off or coming up with excuses to charge.
I totally agree man, i guess people will buy the Vienna addon for the motorbikes, well thats what ill be buying it for anyway. I dont know why they didnt include the omsi 1 route in the new one, instead of asking people for a fiver for it. I really think its not fair, and they are as you just said being greedy!

Eamons85 I guess that's the unique selling point for Vienna 2, the motorbikes, as for Vienna it was the trams, Chicago the ships, drawbridges, delivery trucks and vans. Only the o305 doesn't have a unique selling point, but as you said they totally ripped us of with it.
I wonder what be next for the game? I would like to see it being optimized more. I would love a stable version, and then a multiplayer :)
Actually, I've seen a video of a guy using a TMC RTS in CTA colors with the CTA name. The bus sounds almost like a real life 90s RTS using a Detroit Diesel 92Tw/Allison Transmission. If you know the sounding of that combo package you will know what I mean. Interesting semi-scream when he took it out of the garage and rolls it down the expressway.
I also seen a video of a guy using the same New Flyer DE60LF in Seattle's King County paint scheme...I look foward to anyone decking the buses in various USA transit schemes. New York MTA has New Flyers

@Ronnie Cathcart yea that video was outstanding I commented on it too. That's American Muscle 2-stroke Diesel engine, the sound was almost there, but that mod is common on GTA and other games. The inside behind the driver seat had NJ Transit logo ad on it. So it might be a MTA New York rts mod. Im from Jersey.

IDK. There are night CTA routes, but it's probably acts more as a homeless shelter on wheels sadly. Funny thing about Navy Pier is that inside it is really boring inside. Just a boat harbor and movie theater.
Ah well i think someone will do a night route in due time :)
Actually around how fast are you driving on the freeway ? Is there a speed limiter on the bus ?
I was hoping they add suburb routes near the garage that would be great.

have you tried the new london and south maps for omsi2?
one more thing when I started driving the engine turn's off every time I open the doors.

+Jesse Lvovski When you turn on the bus. You have to let the settle for about 2 mins before you start the engine. Then once the air sign is gone, its ready to go
