That's definitely not a $250 bread machine. $89 at the most. Makes a very small loaf and the recipe is lacking. You need at least a little bit of salt or it will taste bland because salt is a flavor enhancer. We are talking maybe 1/4 teaspoon of table salt or 1/2 tsp of kosher salt, not a lot. Also butter is unnecessary because it will taste better and be healthier with olive oil (or another premium oil).
Mine has Teflon coating and the paddle/flipper at the bottom wore down the coating because I put bean flour in it and the flour was too coarse, so I stop using it--I don't want to eat Teflon or aluminum. I always find the loaf too small, anyway.

I have one of those in my garage. I have had it for almost 30 years. I need to try it again. I never had much luck with my bread making, but maybe I need your recipe!
Take it out and try again. Always putting in the wet ingredients first then the dry. If yours has a dough cycle you can bake the bread in the oven or airfryer for better results.
Yep, this wass one of the drawbacks of the machine rush, when these first came out onto the market. My grandmother +her friends felt that wait time was a serious compromise factor against the fumctional convenience pf the aoto-kneading +-baking machine. Their other complaint was how bulky their particular machinex were, picked more space on their modest kitchen counters than a 3-hr bread machine could justify. Plus for three hours, the loaves were too small for their families
I bought a bread machine during the pandemic. Not only is it very satisfying to use but it produces bread at a fraction of the cost of store bought. I just stick to basics, but there is a point during the cycle when you can add raisins, nuts, or seeds. There are ways to make artisan bread if you want. I am the opposite of a single-purpose gadget consumer, but I love this product. Making bread from scratch is not easy, is very time consuming, and takes a lot of time and patience to get the right kneading technique. I love that this guy got one at GW so cheap. Kudos!
That brand of bread machine was the top of the line in the early 1990’s when these machines were so popular I had one for my family of 3 teenage boys so it ran once or twice a day I recommend you try the raisin bread recipe I used to set it to have the loaf ready for breakfast time 😉
My father has one of those and it is amazing. You can make all sorts of types of bread, it comes out amazing, and I just love how it fills the kitchen with the smell of fresh bread
We used to have one of those back in the 90s. We quit buying sliced bread and made our own until the machine broke, then we went back to buying sliced bread and never replaced the machine.
I had a bread machine in the early '90s. I used it a couple of times, and it got put away in an upper cabinet. I enjoy kneading, I enjoy watching the yeast work its magic. I enjoy the smell of bread baking in the oven. Those are things that a bread machine doesn't give you.
this just reminded me that I saw the very same bread machine I used to have at Goodwill the other day, but I hesitated; I gotta get it if it's still there tomorrow, thanks!
That’s a zujirushi machine!!! I don’t know about the US but in my country zujirushi is hella excellent/ expensive brand you got yourself a great deal !! That loaf looked yummy
they make good bread, also pretty helpful for pizza dough and even heard people using them to make Jam and stuff like yogurt (though i assume yogurt is a fancier machine with temp control or a setting for it)
I had one of these maybe 10 or 15 years ago. One day I started a loaf and had to run to the store. By the time I got back my teenage son got it out and had eaten it but he really didn’t like the bottom of the loaf so he threw it out into the pasture where we had our goats. The agitator that was in the pan was removable so you could clean it. To this day I do not know what the goats did with that agitator.

Thank you so much for this , for the life of me , I couldn't figure out what he had said 😂
Øi ja...Thats what it was said...🤤🙄
I've owned one of these for years and not only does it very easily make a bunch of awesome different types of bread, it saved us a lot of money and improved our health, because we did not add any unhealthy wierd stuff to our bread. Absolutely worth having
It should be mandatory at houses. Like a kettle or a microwave! 😂
My grandparents used to have one of these. Grandad would set it up before bed and we would wake up in the morning to the smell of fresh bread baking. Such a good childhood memory
That bread machine is known for quality. The breads are SO nice! It can even do other types of bread like banana or zucchini bread. Also gluten-free. Cool that you bagged a great deal! Kudos!🎉
Zucchini bread is frikkin amazing. I brought some to share at work once, and for the next month, people were coming at me like I was their drug dealer.
Zucchine omelette is also nice.
Whoa what a deal from goodwill! Zojirushj appliances like this one or rice cookers are usually over $200!
That's what I was thinking!!❤
Same!!! I have never been that lucky
Second hand is always great. I remember getting a Panasonic one for $12 on Craigslist 🎉
I got a perfect condition second hand Zojirushi Neuro Fuzzy for €50. Needless to say it cost me my lifetime supply of luck 😂
My mom got one a probably like 5-7 years ago and the bread is damn good… it still makes my mouth water thinking of it now… I should try to get one of those machines now…
Got an old one and it still works! Makes great bread. Sometimes i take dough out before it begins the bake cycle and put it in a loaf pan or make it into rolls, cover , let rise and bake in a 350 oven! So easy 👍
Sweet!😃👍
We have had a bread machine for ten years in pantry. I’m getting it out tmr and rinsing the dust off of it and make some bread. For a couple weeks I have had the wants for homemade bread and after seeing your video I must make it now. Thanks for the recipe . Love your videos.❤️
How did it go? You have to let us know!
Yea don't cheat us now
Thanks Mate! I enjoy watching your video shorts
I'm in my 70's, live alone ..I love my bread machine ..can't knead like I used too ..but I love the smell of bread baking ❤❤❤
Just a casual 70 year old browsing through RUclips shorts. I don’t believe you’re actually that old.
@@marlo8850 I swear people have been traumatized so much by frauds online that they think absolutely everything is fake now. Not everything is a troll, dude. And so what if it is? Who cares? It's a nice comment that people like. 🤦🏾♂️
@@PatrickBartleyMusic don't be so upset about it.
I'm in my 70's but just lazy! I do the same thing...I make a loaf just so the aroma floats thru the apt & the complex (I crack open my windows a bit)😅
@@marlo8850Because she's too old to enjoy shorts? (I'm 76.) Please tell me you're not stereotyping.
You made me smile, thanks!
"Everyones' favorite drink" ❤❤❤😊 you so great❤❤❤
I have a friend that uses the bread machine for all the hard parts of bread baking and then just swap it into a loaf pan to bake.
That's how I've been using mine, you can make them into more shapes instead of limiting to the shape of the bread maker's compartment.
This is the way.
Never knew something like this existed, now I need it
Where have you been?
@@rubyoro0 Not the right places I guess. A dedicated bread maker sounds pretty cool but on second thought, would it be better than a stand mixer? Might just take up more space, still neat though!
We all knead it, amirite????
Dayummm that bread looks scrumptious
I have one of those in my garage. I have had it for almost 30 years. I need to try it again. I never had much luck with my bread making, but maybe I need your recipe!
Take it out and try again. Always putting in the wet ingredients first then the dry. If yours has a dough cycle you can bake the bread in the oven or airfryer for better results.
Killer deal! It’s so small , turned out perfect.
That exact bread machine is $250 on Amazon right now and you got it for $15 at a Goodwill? I'm legitimately jealous man. That is an amazing find!
I got my mom a bread maker and now she makes us loaves at least once a week. Some of the best bread I've had tbh
I have this and yeah the worst part is waiting for that 3 hours cooking time
You can prepare at night. Use delay function. The wonderful smell will wake you up in the morning.
@@rubyoro0eh I don't like the idea of unsupervised kitchen devices, especially while sleeping. Sounds like asking to wake up to a house fire to me.
Kudos!
That brand of bread machine was the top of the line in the early 1990’s when these machines were so popular I had one for my family of 3 teenage boys so it ran once or twice a day I recommend you try the raisin bread recipe I used to set it to have the loaf ready for breakfast time 😉
How much did it cost back then?
This japanese brand makes one of the best and durable cooking appliances that lasts for a very long time. Bread maker, rice cooker etc.
My father has one of those and it is amazing. You can make all sorts of types of bread, it comes out amazing, and I just love how it fills the kitchen with the smell of fresh bread
Nothing in this world can replace your grandparents.. ❤
Says the Poo
We used to have one of those back in the 90s. We quit buying sliced bread and made our own until the machine broke, then we went back to buying sliced bread and never replaced the machine.
Had one of these growing up in the 90s. I used it more than my parents. Loved that thing
An older gentleman on the night shift had this when I was on my first deployment in 2012. It's AMAZING
Dude, that brand for $15? You scored!
Bro Insane score!!!
My grandparents have one of these, I used to help my grandma make bread all the time. I must admit, it was solid bread.
Yes, add wet ingredients first as you did. The aroma from the bread machine once bread is baked is amazing.
I had a bread machine in the early '90s. I used it a couple of times, and it got put away in an upper cabinet. I enjoy kneading, I enjoy watching the yeast work its magic. I enjoy the smell of bread baking in the oven. Those are things that a bread machine doesn't give you.
That's fine by me I'm lazy af in the kitchen
Wish I wasn't but I struggle
this just reminded me that I saw the very same bread machine I used to have at Goodwill the other day, but I hesitated; I gotta get it if it's still there tomorrow, thanks!
That's a great price!!
Yes, you are the beauty behind the bread! BAM!!! 🎉
Had one of these growing up some 20 years ago. Best bread hands down
I have one, its so great.
I had a bread machine growing up and the house smelled so good when you made it.
We've had one for over 20 years. Love them!
Your videos are perfect.. thank you
Needa hit up my local goodwill
“No, not the guy behind the bread machine” is very funny. Good job
I have one of those except way longer so easy my mom has this whole wheat hony recipie I'm obsessed
My mom LOVES this machine. It really does make easy bread
I bought this bread maker BECAUSE of this short
Thank you so much
That’s a zujirushi machine!!!
I don’t know about the US but in my country zujirushi is hella excellent/ expensive brand you got yourself a great deal !! That loaf looked yummy
i got a rice maker from them and so far its been workin nice
@@ghasterra8950 "A ricemaker" It's THE ricemaker!
I went on RUclips to look for your pickled onions and I was gorgeously greeted by your face as soon as I opened the app 🥰
I hope you enjoy ❤ 🔥
Awww🙂
they make good bread, also pretty helpful for pizza dough and even heard people using them to make Jam and stuff like yogurt (though i assume yogurt is a fancier machine with temp control or a setting for it)
BRUH, YOUR ATTITUDE IS AWESOME! LOVE YOUR CONTENT!! ❤
I have no idea they still make those. I remember having one of those in the late 90s as a kid. Now im thinking about buying one lol.
we gain 10 pounds in one month when we were given this as a wedding gift 😂😂😂 the little metal part was accidentally thrown away
You know what? I like you. You're not annoying compared to the other people who cook on here. Simple and no obnoxious sounds
Low key looks delicious
I still use mine but take the dough out and add ingredients, then bake in a bread pan. Its DEE LISH!!! I MAKE A COTTAGE CHEESE/ DILL BREAD THAT MAKES GREAT SANDWICHES😅😅
I subbed, can i get a pin?
