"The Simpsons Already Did It" is a top-notch Prof. Chaos episode and the B plot is equally as hilarious!

Might as well watch the Simpsons version of the Simpsons already did it, which they made.
Fun fact: the Simpsons had been on the air for 12.5 years when this episode came out in 2002. So the episode about how long running the Simpsons were is now almost twice as old as the Simpsons back then. And both shows are still around.

"Raisins" is a great Butters episode. Your favorite little guy gets his first girlfriend and Stan loses his. Butters even explains his philosophy of life's ups and downs in a cute speech. Everyone, request this episode you know it'll be a hit!
The 'I'd rather be a crying pussy' line Butters has after that speech is the icing on the cake too! The delivery is perfect! 😂

2:27 - The episode Freak Strike. Butters' road to villainy began with the episode Kenny Dies. This began a multi-episode arc where Kenny didn't come back for some time. Butters was his temporary replacement.

To explain: Kenny was left dead for one season, leaving the three boys trying to find a new fourth friend. This gives you a new look at many of the class comrades and Butters in particular was the fourth friend for a few episodes.
S16 E11 Going Native. It’s hilarious and it’s one of the best Butters episode. It’s almost a butters origin story.

Kenny died formally in the episode, "Kenny Dies" (Season 5, Episode 13). It's actually a pretty good/funny episode, I'd recommend it. He was gone for an entire season, and didn't return again until Season 7. Since you noticed the Towel (Towelie) sitting in the group of potential new best friends, I'd also recommend Season 5, episode 8. Definitely a classic one. Lots of crazy fun.
Towlie's 1st episode was one of the funniest.

A cliffhanger is when you leave unanswered questions at the end, not just when there's a next episode or a sequel. They made it look like there were going to be unanswered questions then immediately answered them before ending the episode so no cliffhanger.

Season 9 episode 4 “best friends forever” is my recommendation. It’s one of my all time favorites. That and season 11 episode 10 “imagination land”

Butters and Cartman have A LOT of classic episodes together. The Death of Eric Cartman, Cartman Sucks, Good Times with Weapons, AWESOM-O.
Others are already recommending it but the episode "Simpsons Already Did it" (Season 6, episode 7) is basically a sequel to this, and it's FANTASTIC. Both storylines are hilarious.

I recommend "Raisins" and "Cartman Sucks" which have two of Butters' best and most relevant to real life speeches in the series.
The ending pokes fun at the 1966 Batman series. Each episode was a two-parter, with Part 1 always ending on a cliffhanger to get people to tune in the next week to see Part 2. But clearly, the gag here is to just immediately tell everyone how it all turns out rather than drag it out for a Part 2. 😄
they are also referencing when they made people wait a whole season for a reveal and then started iwth a terrence and philip episode (season 1 episode 1)

The episode "Good Times With Weapons" is an excellent, classic episode.
Y'all should check out when Butter's turn goth in season 12 ep 14 called "The Ungroundable".

The episode "the Simpsons already did it." Is a 2nd part to this episode technically. Butters/prof chaos comes up with a bunch of schemes to get back at the town that are a little more actual supervilain like.....sorta
This episode takes place after the first and only time Kenny's "Death" was taken seriously by the show itself, usually Kenny dies in an episode and is there again in the next. In one season kenny spent most of the season as a ghost inside Cartmans body
(there's a lore episode that explains why Kenny is cursed and can not die)
Kenny dies from a disease and is cremated, later Cartman mixes Kenny's ashes with some milk thinking it's chocolate powder and drinks him only to then be possessed by Kenny.
Eventually they exorcise Kenny and he is reborn
This plotline plays out over a whole season

Butters tries his best to become a villain but his too nice, but he came up with a great villain known as Professor Chaos.
One of my favorite Butters episodes is called "Cartman Sucks."
A little context Butters came to prominence from just being a background character as a replacement for Kenny when the show creators had run out of ways to end Kenny and tried to end him permanently within the shows narrative and tried replacing him with Butters and later Tweek but fans still wanted Kenny so they brought him back at the end of a later season very casually.
Them talking about friends made me think of the Facebook episode “You Have 0 Friends” 😂
Check out the episode "Marjorine" : Butters goes undercover as a girl to a party.
"Good Times with Weapons" (s08-e01 from 2004) is another good Butters heavy episode.
The episode after this one is a good choice. It's called "Simpsons Already Did It", and it gives more Prof Chaos stories and follows up on the ending of this episode.

Kenny Died at the end of Season 5, the next episode to air was the Butter Very Own Episode, which you have already watched, Kenny's Death was supposed to be permanent he was gone for Season 6 (for the most part, see Ladder to Heaven and the next few episodes after that then the Season 6 Christmas Episode that ended the season for that storyline). He wasn't back as a Series Regular till Season 7.
This episode is GOLD. 😂
PS. You gotta watch Franchise Prequel from season 21 if you wanna see more Professor Chaos.

Good Time With Weapons is the anime episode which has Butters as Professor Chaos!
I personally have a love-hate relationship with the Butters character because I was just that naive when I was a kid... He reminds me a too much of how I was as a child lol
Kenny was permanently killed at the end of season 5 and was absent for most of season 6 but made his comeback in the finale I believe. He returns in season 7 but the gag of killing him in EVERY episode had worn out the fun (according to the show creators). They DO still kill him occasionally but it's not the signature staple it was in the earlier seasons.

I'm a Liberal, and the your reaction to Butter saying The Liberal Media, was brilliant.
Butters is the best lol. He wasn't really in the earliest seasons, but after this season he kinda becomes the unofficial 5th member of the boys group because of how great of a character he is (with the creators keeping him around after bringing Kenny back instead of him not actually "working out" like the boys say in this episode)

Yeah you two have to watch the Imaginationland trilogy. Lot's of Butter's content there for you among other stuff I won't spoil. I don't know why but the flooding with the garden hose thing in this is one the funniest gags to me.
In season 6 of South Park Kenny was dead the hole season only to return on the final episode. In season 5 ep 13 Kenny dies & the final episode 14 was the Butters very own episode. Although Kenny will still die in later seasons it wasn't every episode like the first 5. We also get an explanation in a later season how Kenny keeps coming back after dieing & nobody ever remembers it happening.
“Raisins” is a great Butters’ episode.

Season 15 episode 9, "The Last of the Meheecans" is my personal favorite Butters episode. Most people kind of overlooked this episode, but man is it a classic in my eyes.
3:27 Towelie, the best character ever.
This episode is from season six. This season experimented with the idea of having Kenny officially dead after the 13th episode from season five. The Butters episode was the season five finale. Season six is one of my favorites because of how much focus Butters gets.
Butters is a gem in South Park. I know It might be difficult but If you see Season 20 there's a multi episodic arc for Butters Over the season and boy o boy he shines there.

At this point in South Park history they just randomly decided that instead of having individual episodes that had no continuity, for instance kenny dying every episode, they would have an entire contiual story for a season. So they really killed Kenny off and continued the season without him. Then, the gang replaced him with butters and that is basically how the butters came to be. Good times.
The funny thing about Butters as pimp is that the only reason he was so successful was because he was so nice as a pimp. So even as a pimp Butters was too wholesome and became too successful that the police were specifically after him.
You should check out the vampires episode. You get a butters sidestory and it involves the goth kids
