AWESOM-O is a great Butters and Cartman episode. So is The Death of Eric Cartman. Professor Chaos is the Butters as supervillian episode. The Coon (Season 13) plus a few sequels in Season 14 are a good followup to Professor Chaos.
You definitely also need to watch "The Simpsons Already Did It" alongside "Professor Chaos," since it's basically a Part 2 of that episode.
Just a little background, the Ramsey's reference is from the real life brutal murder of a 6 year old child beauty queen who was found in the family's basement. There was a strong belief amongst law enforcement that the Ramsey's were responsible for many reasons like the note on the crime scene allegedly matching the mother's handwriting and their refusal to be questioned unless it was on their terms. As for Senator Gary Condit, there was an intern that he was having an affair with who went missing, and though he isn't believed to have killed her, they believe that he has withheld information about her disappearance, especially after he originally lied to the Police about having an affair before they found her body. Neither case has been solved.

And there was another murder that happened because a guy was talking to a onlyfans chick and wanted to be with her, so he killed his daughters and wife by stuffing them into a metal air-tight containers, like the one you put oil in. And the reason he got caught because of a family friend haven't heard from them and reported them missing and the confessed about the murders.
She was killed by a serial Ra-st the guy later confessed.

Also, Butters' parents are considered by most to be the absolute worst parents in South P.
Gary Condit was a congressman who was having an affair with his 21 year old intern. She died under mysterious circumstances. Same thing happened with Congressman Joe Scarborough, who is now the morning host on MSNBC. Cartman brings these up in his "Whatever, I do what I want" speech.
Gary Condit's intern was murdered in August. The media heat on him was getting very intense on Sep. 10 2001. And then all that attention just suddenly went away.
I'm sure this comment will be deleted by youtube by Condit's intern was killed by someone who shouldn't be in the country. He was caught yrs later after Condit's career was over. This episode because of Condit is the episode Matt and Trey regret.

Butters is the best. There are so many great Butters moments. One of my favorites is when Paris Hilton comes to town

Marjorine is another funny episode, where Butters is a key character.
Definitely one of my favorite South Park episodes.
I havent seen it recently, but margarine used to be a very popular substitute for butter, and I'm a sucker for the bad pun here.
Marjorine is the episode I always like to follow "Butter's Very Own Episode" with. One of my favs.

It’s sadly the one thing that really hurts this episode because they didn’t kill their daughter and the episode strongly accuses them. This is why innocent until proven guilty is SO important.

@@TrekBeatTKEven if they didn’t, they absolutely had a hand in it and are involved in it in a significant capacity. A child doesn’t just disappear and die overnight inside their family’s house by a stranger who spends hours in the basement and goes in and out without anyone seeing him.

9:30, 11:07: There was a PC flash game called "Inspector Butters" which are a few stages set on a few scenes from this episode. Some include the scenes of how Butters gets the photos as he tails his father, how he makes $4 and eluding the "Predator" in the creepy forest
Well, tbf, the fact that he was unarmed, meant that the Predator wouldn't kill him.
This episode is actually based on a real murder I think in the 90s where a lady did that exact thing with the car with her kids because the guy she was dating didn’t want kids

For context, this episode was directly after Kenny was indefinitely killed off for a season. Butters was his replacement for a period of time (until being replaced by Tweek)

Its actually always been chronological. If someone gets arrested or killed there are always mention. There's even an explanation given to why Kenny keeps coming back to life
Butters parents always grounded him for no reason. He is to innocent.

Imagination Land is a GREAT trilogy

Fully agree. But I think they should watch the 'Human CentiPad' episode first, then '6 days to Air', which shows bits and parts of how they made that episode.
You can definitely tell what generation these two were born in when they don't recognize the Ramseys.
"Cartman Sucks" season 11, episode 2, is a great Cartman/Butters episode. Lol, the title is a literal description of the shenanigans that takes place.
This story was based on a single mom named Susan Smith and it happened in 1994. She had 2 kids and she was messing around with a co worker who was married. The co worker said he no longer wanted to be with her because he was married and because she had kids. Because of this, she drowned her 2 sons in the car just like in this episode and then she told the cops that her car was hijacked by a black man. She’s eligible for parole in November of this year

Butters is easily my favorite character on the show. My second favorite character is Stan's dad, Randy Marsh. Awesom-O is a good Butters/Cartman episode that y'all should check out.

I like when Professor Chaos tries to flood the earth with their garden hose. By the way, everything that happened in this episode was taken directly from actual news. Regarding Mr. Stotch masturbating at the spa, if he wanted to be alone, he would have closed the door. He was waiting for someone to join in. Or maybe he's just an exhibitionist.
"Marjorine" from season 9 is a fantastic butters focused episode.
There actually is continuity, they reference previous episodes quite often and the status quo does change from time to time.
Yes, they occasionally reference events from previous episodes in passing, but they're more like bonuses for those who _have_ seen them; apart from the occasional 2- to 3-parter, the show's episodes are largely self-contained.. apart from the episodes from Seasons 18-20, which was the only time the show was genuinely serialized.
I like Butters in the "Marjorine" episode...
This is making me want to go back and revisit some more South Park! But honestly having fun watching your reactions to these so please keep videos coming…if you want to see Butters as a villain watch the super friends episodes 😅

This episode officially puts South P in the same universe as Alien and Predator.
There are so many episodes that you'd love as Butter focused (or heavily involved in) episodes. The Imagination Land Trilogy, You Got F'ed in the A, The Death of Eric Cartman, Marjorine, The Last of the Meheecans, Raisins, Cartman Sucks. Those are just a few examples that pop in my head. I still suggest you two watch the movie, it holds up very well after 25 years. So South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut is definitely something to watch
When I first saw this episode I was like Kacee all giddy about it being a Butters episode and as the episode progressed I was astounded by how it went lol.

the ramseys daughter was huge case in the early 90s a 9 year old i think she was a little miss universe winner or something and she was missing but they found her body in the basement they never caught the person but it was speculated the mother did it but she passed away from cancer.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone do a majority of the voices in South Park. Some are slightly altered with computer software, but they do a ton of them. Example, Butters' voice is Matt Stone, but it's slightly pitched up. "Sarcastaball" has some good Butters moments and if you want one focused around Timmy, Jimmy and Cartman, have to check out "Up the Down Steroid"
Randy Marsh, the best adult character in the show, isn't in your favorite characters yet, which means you need to watch episodes like "The Losing Edge", "Crême Fraiche", "Cock Magic", "Broadway Bro Down", "Sarcastaball" or "The Cissy".
And those are just a few of his fantastic appearances in the show.
While Cartman is my favorite character, as he's the most entertaining, Randy is my second. You guys haven't seen any of the episodes yet though, that made him my second favorite character.
Some Randy-centric episodes are : The Losing Edge, Cock Magic, Creme Fraiche, Broadway Bro Down, Medicinal Fried Chicken, The Cissy, With Apologies to Jesse Jackson, with my favorite of Randy's being the first one, The Losing Edge.
You still haven't seen the entirety of Cartman and Butters shenanigans> Death of Eric Cartman, Cartman Sucks, Awesome-O and Super Fun Time would be good picks.
Matt Stone is the best voice actor on the show, I think. Trey Parker is the one everybody calls the genius, because he's the main writer, does more of the voices, he's a great singer and musician and songwriter, and he speaks Japanese.
But Matt is a natural comedian, and he brings more depth and variety to his characters [Kyle, Kenny, Butters, Tweak, Craig, Jesus, Uncle Jimbo, Gerald Broflovski, Cousin Kyle, Father Maxi, Pip, Mr. Adler (shop teacher), Scott Malkinson ...]
Cartman, Butters, and Jimmy. I think Stan's dad, Randy, will make your list if you watch my suggestion.

Interestingly, Cartman and Butters are your #1 and #2 favorite characters, considering (and you will soon see this for yourself after watching more episodes) that Butters is a frequent target of Cartman's psychopathic abuse. Check out Season 11, Episode 2 called "Cartman Sucks."

Just my 2 cents worth.. love the South-P reactions.. love listening to you guys laugh lol... anyway... I would ask if people are interested in you guys starting at season 1 Ep 1.. I think you will find that, even though early season episodes are mostly stand alone, they build a picture up of the nostalgia and lore behind some of the characters that much later one are really cool call backs. Like the Kenny dieing thing.. that is 100% a thing lol.. wouldn't want to spoil it.. but so worth watching from the begining :) Either way.. ENJOY!!
