We ALL love Butters - my favourite episodes centred around him are ‘Butters Bottom Bitch’ (S13E9 - unbelievably funny ep!), and ‘Butters Very Own Episode’ (S5E14 - an absolute classic). He has heaps of good ones, but these are awesome.
Also ‘Scott Tenorman Must Die’ (S5E4 - is a MUST watch!). 😂
“City Sushi” is also a good Butters episode
The Scott Tenorman episode is a "must watch" because its probably the most referenced episode/event in future episodes. But honestly, am i the only one who thinks the episode itself is overrated?

@@KevinUchihaOG Not sure…I watched when it aired originally on TV, not because someone on the internet said it would be a good idea. Going into it blind, and just expecting another “standard” SP episode, the big left turn at the end (and how deliciously funny it was!) made it an instant classic to me.
We’re all different though.
My favorite is the one where Cartman gets stuck as the robot AwesomeO (trying to retrieve an incriminating photo) and becomes Butters best friend (also a genius for a movie studio - apparently Adam Sandler makes every picture better).

Just FYI, It was Kim Jong IL not UN, in Team America.
The part where they were jamming out was the ending scene from every Fat Albert cartoon and the mirror thing at the end was the phantom zone prison depicted from the original Superman movie.
13:48 for those who may be too young the band playing is a spin off from the “Fat Albert” cartoon series back in the 70s-80s. Every episode there was some type of conflict but in the end it was solved in peace by the friends of kids on the block & they always played a song that reflected the problem. So it fits here perfectly.
Cripple Summer Camp, Medicinal Fried Chicken, Little Crime Stoppers, All About the Mormons, Christian Hard Rock, Crack Baby Athletic Association, and Creme Fraiche are awesome. And any Christmas episode.
My favorite "cripple" episode is the one where Cartman pretends to be handicapped to win the Special Olympics - and still loses - while Jimmy takes steroids.
This episode was hilarious. I love how Chris starts calling Gene Hack Man. Also, Christopher Reeve's Legion of Doom members include Solomon Grundy, Butters (as Professor Chaos), Dougie (as General Disarray), Dr. Octopus, David Blaine, Kim Jong Il, Cheetah, Saddam Hussein, Black Manta, Dr. Victor von Doom and Osama bin Laden.
Jimmy is honestly one of the best characters on this show. Lol. Also, the ending song was a Fat Albert reference. Reeves floating in space was a Superman 2 reference.
When people who stutter sing, it usually comes out more normally
I think I read something about how the brain utilizes different parts for singing and speaking. Not sure if it’s true but it sounds plausible.
Most of my favorite episodes are when Randy (Stan's dad) is the main focus. Love Randy!

13:46 That sequence is paying homage to the 'Fat Albert' cartoon TV series from the 70's hosted by Bill Cosby which was actually a pretty deep animated show at the time that covered topics like peer pressure, drug abuse, joining gangs, dealing with crime in the inner city, older siblings being responsible for keeping their younger siblings safe, etc. That's freaking hilarious. ;)

Y'all should watch 6 Days to Air, it's about how they get SP on he air. It's how they can be so on topic. I watched like the first 10 seasons. Then I started watching all the specials and I thought they were still hilarious. So now, I got like 16 season to catch up.

One of the things i love about Jimmy is the fact that whenever he stutters, literally everyone, including the Crips, politely waits and lets him finish what he's saying. And he almost always DOES finish no matter what, except in comedic moments where his being interrupted is the punch line.
Another thing is the fact that he seems to be the only one who understands Timmy.

Christopher Reeve in that mirror-like thing at the end was a reference to "Superman II" starring Reeve in 1980.
Superman and Superman II are definitely worth a watch. There were serials of Superman, Batman, Captain Marvel, Captain America etc. before those movies, but the Christopher Reeve films were the beginning of all big-budget, blockbuster superhero films.
Have they seen the Chili episode? It's one of my favorites.😂

13:55 Every fan that has seen 'Superman: The Movie' (1978) and 'Superman II' (1980) knows that Christopher Reeve is not in a mirror; he is trapped in the Phantom Zone the same way General Zod and his two cronies were sentenced to an eternity in the Phantom Zone after trying to seize power on Krypton. :)
I live in Colorado, but not in Denver, so I didn't immediately know where Five Points was. But in my head I was like, "I bet that's over by the 16th St. Mall." Googled it. It's literally the exact area I was thinking, lol.
Season 9 episode 4 “best friends forever” is my recommendation. It’s one of my all time favorites. That and season 11 episode 10 “imagination land” .
Also, all the trilogy episodes like the lord of the ring one, the superhero one, imagination land one, the Peruvian flute band one.
Season 13 episode 8 is a must watch. You will cry laughing the entire episode. Enjoy!!

It's some pretty hilarious Butters episodes too but the show generally revolves around Cartman, Kyle and Stan. South Park does have a lot of great secondary characters as well though.
