Wow, what a turnaround. I was skeptical, but you clearly know this tree's habits. Rock on bro.

Late start this year, but wow! Once it got going, it didn't stop. The new red leaves are pretty awesome - kind of reminds me of an orchard pear tree. You must have to water like crazy to keep this tree happy!

Cheers Sue, yeah I love the red, but its not too bad for water. I hear a lot of say they are real thirsty, but i dont think this ones uses any more than any other tree.

Great video. I love seeing how it changed month to month. It looks really good right now. My only guess why those leaves were yellow was maybe it wasn’t getting enough nutrients from fertilizer, or maybe too much light, it honestly could have been too much water as well. Avocados are so picky 😂. Either way it looks amazing right now, keep doing what you’re doing! I’m looking forward to seeing more updates in the future!

I have some of these, that sprouted in the compost pile. I wonder if we could defoliate them in summer?

yeah, if they are just in the compost pile, why not try it. they can be fussy, but they also grow strongly, so just experiment with a few of them and see what happens.
