I hope the wait was worth it for Episode 3 of the recap series everyone. As I said in the video I didn't film as much as I usually do in August but I hope what I did get was still up to par with the other videos. Let me know your thoughts down below please!
You'd think at this point Spire would realize their hoppers are coming apart at virtually every superman dive in speedball and go from tool less to "some screws" just to keep them from bursting apart. I've seen Spires like the one at 6:31 disintegrating in almost every video you make.....makes you wonder.

I haven't played in probably 10 years... last owned an Ion trying to get back into the sport after stopping playing around 2001.. but that poor SmartParts Ion just wasn't up to speed for full days of play. Previously owned an RT-automag, SmartParts Shocker which always broke down, regular Automag, Tipman carbine (wish I still had this one from the 90s!), and a custom built cocker from random parts bought at boston paintball/a local store/craigslist. lol I just wanted to say that sup-air tournies are such hose fests,,. it's quite mind boggling how this has become the standard for tournament play. I'm sure most people love it, but it's just constant stream of cover fire.. constant. I don't see how that's fun even for professionals. Although, playing a fair and balanced game in the woods and even hyper ball is pretty tough to achieve.
Thanks J! I have an Ion I spray painted (badly) sitting behind me right now. I will say it looks very boring on film, but once you play it and see how much strategy and game planning and skill goes into constantly shooting that cover fire, it becomes much more enjoyable.
@@SoullessPhotography Oh I hear you, Id don't mean to be so negative about air-ball tourneys, they are fun to watch for the most part. It can be brutal out there with ramping guns though,. I know they have limited bps, which is kind of odd in itself.. and absolutely tons of strategy. I really liked the mechanical 10 man video you posted. Now that is something I could get into!

But .... so if a player can’t see where he thinks he gets hit and asks a ref to check him and the ref makes a bad call unbeknownst to the player. Is that player a cheater? Again I’m just talking paintball theory here. When I played I always had a ref check me. Unless it was like super obvious.
