Landscape Photography On Location - Scouting Lucky Peak

- Continuing my photography scouting process, I decided to drive up Highway 21 to the Lucky Peak area in southwest Idaho. It's a beautiful area, despite being well visited and often crowded. I often drive this road to get to specific locations, but this is my first time scouting around the highway itself in search of photography opportunities.
There are a lot of photos shared in this video if I do say so myself. None are "portfolio" pieces, in my personal opinion, but that's not what scouting is for. Scouting an area in my opinion is all about the exploring and discovering what photography opportunities it offers. I use a Fujifilm GFX50S II to capture the images shared here.

Nice scouting effort! That scenery along the drive around 5:00 is spectacular. The image at 8:30 looks great given the conditions and time of day. Would look awesome in black and white too I bet.
Thank you! I agree on that 830 image. I really liked the lines and the shapes, but the conditions were just not quite right for it. And I feel so blessed to live in an area with so much scenery so close. I just wish I could photograph it well. You know how sometimes a good scene doesn't make a good photo? I keep running into that issue. Maybe I just need more practice.
