Seems a lot of people are missing the big elephant in the room. Let’s not forget Annie stabbed firecracker with a needle in episode 6. The same exact episode that Homelander started getting his milk from her. They have yet to revisit what was in that needle but whatever it is has been transferred to homelander via the milk
That was some sedative just to keep her quiet. I think the drugs Firecracker takes to lactate are already a form of indirect poisoning to Homelander and part of Sage's plan.
All I can see is Maeve will be back probably with V in her, A-train too and finally the Deep and Noir will both have really comedic deaths for damn sure!
I think A-train will also die in an epic fashion, but maybe more heroically. Or maybe shooting himself with the virus and running around the world to spread it. Ashley will have Medusa-like powers, but be easily dispatched/depowered/contaminated with supe virus.

My theory has always been that instead of giving the virus to homelander directly, itll somehow end up in the milk he enjoys so much and instead of killing him probably would depower him.
The actor for Andre died due to a bike accident. I wonder if they are gonna find a replacement actor or have either cate or sam switch teams or someone else recruited to fill the empty spot of the team. We know for sure that someone will release the guardians of Godolkin to take on homelander and the seven.
I find it interesting that Kessler is in the back seat of the car. Perhaps that’s a subtle clue that there is hope for redemption for Butcher. Man, I love this show! I’ve been wrong about many of my predictions but I’m honestly just happy to be along for the ride. There’s always such a fun buzz in Toronto when they are filming.
Homelander should lose his powers and be locked up. Alone, in solitary, everyone there disgusted in him. Ryan visiting him one last time, leaving him manic and screaming for his son. His voice drowned out by the rest of the prisoners. Poetic.

I know the showrunner said the ending of the show would be much different from the comics but I feel like Kessler/butcher would turn into comics level butcher and try to kill every supe, and succeeding killing homelander then wants to kill starlight/kimiko which makes the boys turn against him
I have the theory that Hughie also carries a V-induced split personality (and his mom is a hallucination). Hughie will snap after all the abuse he's been through and release his inner monster. After dealing with the supes, there will be a final Hughie vs Butcher showdown, like in the comics.

Ashley is gonna be behind getting the reinforcements. She knows the ins and outs of vought. Knows where the gen v main characters are, she definitely grabbed more of those vials of v and repower Maeve.

A good prediction I’ve seen is that there is no supe left after the virus is loose. Characters like starlight and kimiko will have there powers taken away by soldier boy so they’ll be safe. But a problem with this theory is the show runners already said they’ll be spinoffs after the boys is over.
Someone in the comments said he would be depowered and live like a normal human and that makes me think about the fate chuck shurley had in supernatural, they both did horrible things and ended up being the one thing they hated. They will become human

I think Kimiko could potentially find the Gen V squad although Gen V season 2 should be out before season 5 of the boys. I think Maeve could come back & take compund V in order to get her powers back & team up with Starlight light & A train. I think Hughie will be the only survivor just like the comics
I genuinely think ryan will take the role of "Homelander clone" in the series. He has been shown time and time again to be stronger, and have a half-decent moral compass.
I don't think Ryan should kill him. Ryan should be the better version of Homelander. While Homelander's need for approval and family will certainly play a role in his downfall, being a regular human will be his sentence. He thinks he is God. Not a god. The God. He's not just better than the humans. He is above all the supes as well. Can you imagine him being forced to live as a lowly human in the end?

There’s only really 2 ways to beat homelander & both involve a fair bit of sacrifice. Soldier boy, ryan, maeve, butcher & the boys combined ‘might’ be able to de-power him via SB’s nuke blast where they failed before. Or the virus is enough to weaken him for a far more simple fight. I’d go with the first so butcher can still be nuts & wanting to release the virus even though his mission is complete to try & stop it ever happening again….. that’s when hughie finally knows he has to kill his friend. Was really hoping the 2nd black noir was the homelander clone so to skip the baby eating etc as homelanders already going crackers.
I've heard the theory of homelander being stripped of his powers and forced to live as a human elsewhere and honestly, I kinda want it to end this way. Nothing more humiliating to Homelander than being powerless AND being ridiculed for it. However I think they made an effort to steer the show back on track with the comic in this season. Butcher could very likely kill Frenchie and Kimiko, Hughie could likely kill butcher and with Homelander taking over the White House metaphorically, idk kinda seems like its gonna end up relatively similar to the original

Soldier Boy doesn't really seem to age. Homelander does. They shoehorned that point in again and again, with the grey hairs. HL may see SB more as a natural resource, something to be mined and researched, than a person and a family member.
That's probably exactly why we have scenes of HL looking at the soldier boy containment pod - not out of love or admiration for his father but envy at the not aging
He's going to find out that stormfront and Soldierboy were the only two survivors of doctor voughts original compound v. Since hl killed vought and was the reason for stormfront taking her life the only blood left in the world containing the original compound is in sbs body. Hl will employ sage to figure out what was in that original compound the only problem being you can't pierce sbs skin, it's impossible to get blood out of him. This will lead to hl having to awaken sb and convince him to let sage experiment on him. Once sb is out you know he's going directly after the boys.

Rather than the boys with gen v season 2 coming up first in the timeline with Sam & Cate being the token young justice duo in the boys universe who are now super hero supremist (please redemption arc manifesting✨🙏) I think the plot is gonna adapt the g men arc from the comics with Sam,Cate and Cindy, since they're letting her out and seems like she's college age
They pulled some curve balls there at the end and I'm not sure how much was planned and what was heavy editing. 1. Either Sage is full of crap and playing off the events like she planned it (more likely) or Tek-Knight is still alive and we will get him in the suit next season (less likely). 2. Black Noir will be doing some horrible stuff next season but there will be a reveal that some of the worst was Homelander wearing his outfit doing things he couldn't get away with being seen doing in public (possible split personality sub plot.) 3. I don't know why I used numbers as I really only had the two ideas right now... Edit: oh, number three was supposed to be that Starlight got an upgrade because they needed to write in a Soldier Boy kill switch and now she can absorb his powers and take down the patriarchy. Lol
@@salim43333 the writers have been pretty good about introducing the solution to problems in earlier scenes so it doesn't seem like a deux ex machina when it happens. There are a few other things that seem like plot holes that I think will come back next season.

Soldier Boy has the ability to 'burn out' the Compound V from a Supe's body. We saw this when he PTSD'd in Herogasm, so what happens if he does it to Starlighter before the virus gets to her (or any other supes in the area)?
This is a good prediction but we have to remember the show runners won’t stop after the boys is over. They’ll make spinoffs so the idea of having no supes probably won’t happen.

I regard to Ashley, I highly doubt she would take V then go hide. She got scared because she was listening to the 7’s conversation and found out they were going to round up humans. So why take V if you’re just going to run away anyways? To me it seems like her plan is to take V so she can technically be a supe and hopefully live. I think it would be weird if she still runs away anyways.
Comedically, I'm hoping for Homelander to at least be made aware of Marvin's nickname, then stare into the middle distance envisioning greatness...or something. Narratively, A-Train needs to stand up to him but in a reasonable manner that doesn't involve him turning his hands into stumps pointlessly punching away at HL; he should take a page out of Maeve's book and rock up with half a dozen steel rods trying to stab HL's ears and eyes; other than that distract and sucker punch him enough for Annie to swoop in and blind him and (sooner rather than later) realize that she won't put a dent in him unless she goes all out and self-detonates. Her sacrifice, however, shouldn't kill him, either, it should only level the playing field for Butcher to have a shot at ending him. A-Train still doesn't need to die as he could spirit Ryan away from the carnage about to transpire between his two paternal figures, and further down the line lead The Seven into a (truly) heroic tomorrow. I've read several people suggest HL being depowered and living out the rest of his days as one of those "mud people" he so profoundly despises. Nice sentiment but it has been brought to our attention time and again that getting one's hands on V is way too easy in this universe so he'd simply inject himself and be back to his old ways in no time. He needs to go, in tandem with Butcher.
Homelander in charge won’t last long. But I like the idea that he is turned human. Could have him trying to punch and find he has no strength. Then he becomes a coward afraid of everyone even humans.
Ryan will out homelander on tv about how evil he truly is and butcher’s faith will be restored which will help him gain control again. I think that there may be a chance Hughie has to face Starlight possibly dying to the virus but somehow work a way to convince soldier boy to take her power away. Idk it could be a small plot
I'm starting to believe that Mallory and Becka lied about her being Sa'd. The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to me. Why in the hell are we trusting the old Mallory in the first place? She was a vengeful and terrible person back then. And why are we fully trusting Becka? We know that she got cheated on and has a good chance of have had sleep with homelander in retaliation. Makes sense she wouldn't admit to it, to protect Ryan.
The show is pretty straight forward. It’s part of its satire (letting us in on the joke) but I truly wish it was deep enough to write explanation videos.
I highly doubt this theory will happen but I guess we’re all just taking wild guesses, but I think Kamiko will a role or will get a cameo in gen v season 2. She would have most likely been taken to the same prison or a similar prison as the gen v cast at the end of season 1. Not saying she will play a huge role in the season but will just be in an episode or two. Either A. She plays a role and helps the gen v characters breakout, then leaves to go find starlight or find where frenchie and the boys were taken. Or B. She be a Cameo where Gen v characters breakout and ether sneak past other cells or free other cells to start a sup prison riot as a distraction and Kamiko will just happen to be in one of the cells or breaking out during a prison riot and it would be cool in parts of the boys episode we see the gen v episode from Kamiko perspective and explains to people who did not watch Gen v how she escaped. I Highly doubt this theory but, I think her appearing in gen v would make sense because she’s a sup. Other than that i’ve just been keeping my expectations low about theories because anything can really happen in the boys universe. My theory is that during a fight solider boy fry’s the V out of the supers in the boys team but doesn’t get butcher. Butcher is on a killing spree after breaking them out of where they are being kept after being kidnapped. Butcher ends up releasing the virus killing all the supes in the world before having a fight to the death with homelander and soldier boy.
I'm pretty sure, the show makers said, they wouldn't copy the comic ending. Which makes me happy, because I still hope at least some of my favourites, MM, Kimiko and Frenchie, will survive.

I doubt that the creator will see this, but one thing I noticed was a firecracker when she was giving him her breastmilk. She seems to have caught in the virus that is killing the superheroes and he was drinking her breastmilk, especially while she was sick so I have a theory that he’s gonna die from the virus and I wonder how no one‘s even touched this yet.
It makes no sense that Queen Maeve "went into hiding." She's one of the most famous people in the world. She'd be recognized everywhere, no matter what she did to her hair and clothes.

Homelander said that he wants to fight with Butcher until one of them dies, so I think that Soldier Boy is going to drain both Butchers and Homelanders powers so they'll fight as normal people (with Butcher maybe killing Homelander)

I think homelander having to be ordinary and powerless would be the ultimate poetic justice, he'd have no martyr death for his followers and it would be the worst experience to him, his sense of self worth and identity is all about his powers, he never even changes out of his outfit and uses his supe name full time, without his powers his ego would be utterly shattered
Nah, I prefer just killing him. But I’ll say, if we’re gonna make him atone for his sins, at least take the people who made the way he was with him. It’s true catharsis for himself, and the people he’s murdered.

I know the noir "twist" from the comic will not happen. And homelander take of the goberment so far has not being as violent as the comic. The comic ends with butcher becoming the ultimate villain at the end after homelander is taken care off. And that at least is kind of set up in season 4 ending.

The boys are going to be in prison for the first two episodes. They'll be broken out, probably by a mind-controlling Ashley teaming up with Kimiko and the other supes. Butcher will need someone to complete the virus for him, with the two candidates being Sage and the scientist Homelander spared in season 4. Homelander will fight Butcher, but find that he can't kill him, because he regenerates. Homelander releases Soldier Boy to put Butcher down, having Cate control him (also having him do weird mind controlled father son stuff), but Butcher is too good at not being found. The boys successfully capture soldier boy with nerve agent. Homelander tells Sage to find a way to kill Butcher, and she recreates her cancer cure. In the final battle, Soldier Boy is broken free, but surrenders to the other supes. Butcher is injected with the cure, and Ryan turns on homelander. Butcher gets his original powers back and he and Ryan fight homelander until Soldier Boy's beam is used to depower Butcher and Homelander. Butcher kills Homelander with his bare hands.
The fact that Gen V is continuing is already a spoiler that all supes won’t die. Unless they end it off at season 2 but that’ll be too early to end a show

Ashley is gonna be behind getting the reinforcements. She knows the ins and outs of vought. Knows where the gen v main characters are, she definitely grabbed more of those vials of v and repower Maeve.
This is my prediction as well. Ashley will help starlight find the boys and give maeve her powers back. I just don’t see any other option for starlight. She has not much to turn to.

A good prediction I’ve seen is that there is no supe left after the virus is loose. Characters like starlight and kimiko will have there powers taken away by soldier boy so they’ll be safe. But a problem with this theory is the show runners already said they’ll be spinoffs after the boys is over.

I genuinely think ryan will take the role of "Homelander clone" in the series. He has been shown time and time again to be stronger, and have a half-decent moral compass.
I don't think Ryan should kill him. Ryan should be the better version of Homelander. While Homelander's need for approval and family will certainly play a role in his downfall, being a regular human will be his sentence. He thinks he is God. Not a god. The God. He's not just better than the humans. He is above all the supes as well. Can you imagine him being forced to live as a lowly human in the end?

There’s only really 2 ways to beat homelander & both involve a fair bit of sacrifice.
Soldier boy, ryan, maeve, butcher & the boys combined ‘might’ be able to de-power him via SB’s nuke blast where they failed before.
Or the virus is enough to weaken him for a far more simple fight.
I’d go with the first so butcher can still be nuts & wanting to release the virus even though his mission is complete to try & stop it ever happening again….. that’s when hughie finally knows he has to kill his friend.

I've heard the theory of homelander being stripped of his powers and forced to live as a human elsewhere and honestly, I kinda want it to end this way. Nothing more humiliating to Homelander than being powerless AND being ridiculed for it. However I think they made an effort to steer the show back on track with the comic in this season. Butcher could very likely kill Frenchie and Kimiko, Hughie could likely kill butcher and with Homelander taking over the White House metaphorically, idk kinda seems like its gonna end up relatively similar to the original

Since hl killed vought and was the reason for stormfront taking her life the only blood left in the world containing the original compound is in sbs body. Hl will employ sage to figure out what was in that original compound the only problem being you can't pierce sbs skin, it's impossible to get blood out of him. This will lead to hl having to awaken sb and convince him to let sage experiment on him. Once sb is out you know he's going directly after the boys.

Noir could be a Homelander clone for modern America (diversity and all that). They made a point of letting us know he can fly, which is a big thing in the show universe (in the comics is commonplace for supes to fly though).

Rather than the boys with gen v season 2 coming up first in the timeline with Sam & Cate being the token young justice duo in the boys universe who are now super hero supremist (please redemption arc manifesting✨🙏) I think the plot is gonna adapt the g men arc from the comics with Sam,Cate and Cindy, since they're letting her out and seems like she's college age
They pulled some curve balls there at the end and I'm not sure how much was planned and what was heavy editing.
1. Either Sage is full of crap and playing off the events like she planned it (more likely) or Tek-Knight is still alive and we will get him in the suit next season (less likely).
2. Black Noir will be doing some horrible stuff next season but there will be a reveal that some of the worst was Homelander wearing his outfit doing things he couldn't get away with being seen doing in public (possible split personality sub plot.)
3. I don't know why I used numbers as I really only had the two ideas right now...
Edit: oh, number three was supposed to be that Starlight got an upgrade because they needed to write in a Soldier Boy kill switch and now she can absorb his powers and take down the patriarchy. Lol

Soldier Boy has the ability to 'burn out' the Compound V from a Supe's body. We saw this when he PTSD'd in Herogasm, so what happens if he does it to Starlighter before the virus gets to her (or any other supes in the area)?
This is a good prediction but we have to remember the show runners won’t stop after the boys is over. They’ll make spinoffs so the idea of having no supes probably won’t happen.

I regard to Ashley, I highly doubt she would take V then go hide. She got scared because she was listening to the 7’s conversation and found out they were going to round up humans. So why take V if you’re just going to run away anyways? To me it seems like her plan is to take V so she can technically be a supe and hopefully live. I think it would be weird if she still runs away anyways.
Comedically, I'm hoping for Homelander to at least be made aware of Marvin's nickname, then stare into the middle distance envisioning greatness...or something.
Narratively, A-Train needs to stand up to him but in a reasonable manner that doesn't involve him turning his hands into stumps pointlessly punching away at HL; he should take a page out of Maeve's book and rock up with half a dozen steel rods trying to stab HL's ears and eyes; other than that distract and sucker punch him enough for Annie to swoop in and blind him and (sooner rather than later) realize that she won't put a dent in him unless she goes all out and self-detonates. Her sacrifice, however, shouldn't kill him, either, it should only level the playing field for Butcher to have a shot at ending him. A-Train still doesn't need to die as he could spirit Ryan away from the carnage about to transpire between his two paternal figures, and further down the line lead The Seven into a (truly) heroic tomorrow.
I've read several people suggest HL being depowered and living out the rest of his days as one of those "mud people" he so profoundly despises. Nice sentiment but it has been brought to our attention time and again that getting one's hands on V is way too easy in this universe so he'd simply inject himself and be back to his old ways in no time. He needs to go, in tandem with Butcher.
Homelander in charge won’t last long. But I like the idea that he is turned human. Could have him trying to punch and find he has no strength. Then he becomes a coward afraid of everyone even humans.
Ryan will out homelander on tv about how evil he truly is and butcher’s faith will be restored which will help him gain control again.
Firecracker will try to kill homelander using “milk” as sage will be getting bigger control and will not sit well with her. She may be a villain but will go out as a hero.

I think that there may be a chance Hughie has to face Starlight possibly dying to the virus but somehow work a way to convince soldier boy to take her power away. Idk it could be a small plot
I'm starting to believe that Mallory and Becka lied about her being Sa'd. The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to me. Why in the hell are we trusting the old Mallory in the first place? She was a vengeful and terrible person back then. And why are we fully trusting Becka? We know that she got cheated on and has a good chance of have had sleep with homelander in retaliation. Makes sense she wouldn't admit to it, to protect Ryan.

The show is pretty straight forward. It’s part of its satire (letting us in on the joke) but I truly wish it was deep enough to write explanation videos.
I highly doubt this theory will happen but I guess we’re all just taking wild guesses, but I think Kamiko will a role or will get a cameo in gen v season 2. She would have most likely been taken to the same prison or a similar prison as the gen v cast at the end of season 1. Not saying she will play a huge role in the season but will just be in an episode or two.
Either A. She plays a role and helps the gen v characters breakout, then leaves to go find starlight or find where frenchie and the boys were taken. Or B. She be a Cameo where Gen v characters breakout and ether sneak past other cells or free other cells to start a sup prison riot as a distraction and Kamiko will just happen to be in one of the cells or breaking out during a prison riot and it would be cool in parts of the boys episode we see the gen v episode from Kamiko perspective and explains to people who did not watch Gen v how she escaped. I Highly doubt this theory but, I think her appearing in gen v would make sense because she’s a sup.
Other than that i’ve just been keeping my expectations low about theories because anything can really happen in the boys universe.

I doubt that the creator will see this, but one thing I noticed was a firecracker when she was giving him her breastmilk. She seems to have caught in the virus that is killing the superheroes and he was drinking her breastmilk, especially while she was sick so I have a theory that he’s gonna die from the virus and I wonder how no one‘s even touched this yet.

I think homelander having to be ordinary and powerless would be the ultimate poetic justice, he'd have no martyr death for his followers and it would be the worst experience to him, his sense of self worth and identity is all about his powers, he never even changes out of his outfit and uses his supe name full time, without his powers his ego would be utterly shattered

I know the noir "twist" from the comic will not happen. And homelander take of the goberment so far has not being as violent as the comic. The comic ends with butcher becoming the ultimate villain at the end after homelander is taken care off. And that at least is kind of set up in season 4 ending.

The boys are going to be in prison for the first two episodes. They'll be broken out, probably by a mind-controlling Ashley teaming up with Kimiko and the other supes. Butcher will need someone to complete the virus for him, with the two candidates being Sage and the scientist Homelander spared in season 4. Homelander will fight Butcher, but find that he can't kill him, because he regenerates. Homelander releases Soldier Boy to put Butcher down, having Cate control him (also having him do weird mind controlled father son stuff), but Butcher is too good at not being found. The boys successfully capture soldier boy with nerve agent. Homelander tells Sage to find a way to kill Butcher, and she recreates her cancer cure. In the final battle, Soldier Boy is broken free, but surrenders to the other supes. Butcher is injected with the cure, and Ryan turns on homelander. Butcher gets his original powers back and he and Ryan fight homelander until Soldier Boy's beam is used to depower Butcher and Homelander. Butcher kills Homelander with his bare hands.
The fact that Gen V is continuing is already a spoiler that all supes won’t die. Unless they end it off at season 2 but that’ll be too early to end a show
I don’t think the shows gonna have as many deaths as the comic. I think Hughie, Starlight and MM make it oit
