And here i am trying to figure out how to make cable entries in a carbon frame (do i simply drill small holes on it?) because i want to use a non-integrated stem and handlebar combo that does not have internal routing
Nice job on the carbon work. That's pretty close to what I've had to do while working on carbon components on aircraft. It's great you did this video too since doing "repairs" like this are one of the advantages of carbon frames over metal bike frames. If (BIG IF) I were to buy a carbon bike and use wireless shifting, dropper post or suspension components that are currently on the market this is exactly what I would due to remove the unnecessary holes in my frame. All kidding aside on the "wireless brakes" mentioned in other comments.👍🤣👍 It is technically something that could be done, but again what's the point. There wouldn't be a weight savings since the wireless setup would need batteries for each component, etc... just not worth it in IMHO. However that doesn't make the idea of that kind of technology less cool. Just like Magura's drool worthy ABS system for E-bikes is.. I just can't afford it though!
I feel as though filling holes on a steel or aluminum frame would be even easier than with carbon because you could send it to an experienced TIG welder.... no?
@@RC-fp1tlonce te aluminium is welded because of the heating it will never be the same. ETOE hello there. I have a question! If I want to hide aluminium welds with some kind of spartel. Then what kind of spartel would you use? Metal puddy , or?...
Can you explain about matte black, flat black, satin black, gloss black, semi-gloss black etc. and side by side comparison, differences, should I use different primer, clear coat for each of them. (I am painting on a steel frame)
It`s not the black that makes those differences, it`s every time the clear coat that creates these effects. Hello Martin, great video. Do you think something like this could also be done on a braking surface of a carbon rims? Do you think it would hold up to the use of rim brakes?
Cause you have to store it in a fridge and you have to cure it at minimum 120 Degree Celsius. Not possible for most of my followers. I show solutions which are possible to do for my followers.

What is the alternative sand blasting media to use if no cherry grit available...?
Sand it by hand! There is no alternative.
I need to know if it’s safe to use an angle grinder with a paint scraper attachment on a carbon frame
