I actually thought Flour Power was ok. The story was bland but the sets were a bit scary. But the scariest has to be either Haunted Henry or Duncan Gets Spooked. Man those are quite intense, the music, the atmosphere. Not just scariest, but best episodes of Thomas ever in my opinion.
If you think THOSE were scary, look up Kanefan701's "Ghost Train: The Untold Story of Timothy." But don't EVER look up "Shed 17." That just took things way too far. Just Kanefan's "Timothy," and that's it.
7:40-7:43 interesting fact, stephen hatt who would be the next controller, is still 10 and has stayed ten, according to the wiki, he was born 1941, salty was built in 1962, i think you see the problem there. The show does not age at all unlike the railway series. So some of these engines weren't even thought of yet but are showing up. Also thomas was built in 1915 so assuming its the year 1951, 52. or 53, Thomas is currently in the regular show series, 36 years old. Wanna know something sadder, percy is older than thomas yet is depicted as....well dumb. Also another weird fact, thomas and percy are older than gordan, in fact Thomas got to sodor Before Gordon. So adventure begins....yeah that's wrong.
VPT2 Probably current times. I'll make it simple: The actual events happened when each episode aired. So Thomas would be like 32-25. The railway Series I see as a different canon because for one: Stepney and the small railway's organs has been rewritten and you can't have both events happening in one universe!
Wow Thomas can run.. A real steam engine would be getting hot rods. When the connecting points from the wheels pins to the running gear are full of normally dirt. It bad for engines and leads to piston and gear damage. So inaccurate is this from Sharon Miller cause it would make sense.
I know which one that you're talking about: Thomas and Percy's Mountain Adventure. I feel the same way: turning a Christmas episode into a Thanksgiving episode when the Brits don't even celebrate Thanksgiving was an epic fail, hence why I watch the UK version instead.
Two of my guesses would be "The Sad Story of Henry" and "Thomas and Percy's Christmas Adventure." In the UK, Henry was intended to be walled in forever, while it's only until he wants to come out in the US. The mountain adventure celebrated Christmas in the UK, but Thanksgiving in the US.
I also had two questions to ask you since Halloween is getting near: along with all the Halloween-themed episodes of TTTE, what would be your all-time favorite Halloween special and what's your all-time favorite Halloween-themed episode of TTTE? For me, my all-time favorite Halloween special is the Shining Time Station episode Scare Dares and my all-time favorite Halloween-themed episode of TTTE is definitely Percy's Ghostly Trick.
1:21 - Originally, Sir Topham Hatt was going to dress as a devil for his Halloween costume. This was changed to a Wizard in the final product, as the original scene wouldn't have been allowed to be aired on American children's television. A photo of the devil costume from the original version can be seen in a magazine, with the caption, "Did you know? The Fat Controller likes to dress up. Once he was a devil!".
jibby the tank engine and friends except no one knows this episode, so we can't really call it a 'core' moment. In the case of Thomas, Thomas Comes to Breakfast was a timeless episode, a true classic, and has had a few merch over the years For Percy, Percy's Chocolate Crunch, it's still a relative classic, and has had a lot of merchandise James? The Green Controller is an easily forgettable episode, but Busy Bee James has had just enough merch, and is just different enough And Victor and Hiro's minis were both based off of their introductions, both of which have had just enough merch Also I don't see why they'd make 2 Thomas minis
I don't know, maybe it's nostalgia....but I remember liking this episode. The US narration was a LOT better. I do agree with the flour. I guess that was just to save money on props. I thought it wasn't supposed to be scary, but was to show kids that some things aren't as scary as they first seem.
Awesome review, Engine Inspector! I can't believe I actually used to like this episode, although I think Brandon did better narrating this than Angelis. It's not the least bit scary, tons of flour get wasted on a prank/poisoned with how it's being transported, and it just gets boring after a while. At most, I'd give it a 5 out of 10. It's just...ehhh.
Terrier82Boxhill Fuck Timothy. I'm frankly embarrassed people think he is canon, it's just a stupid fanfiction that uses almost every cliche in the book. Hopefully it dies a slow and painful death
I noticed that when thomas and diesel arrived at the mill they both were on separate tracks, and all the trucks were on thomas' line. But when he pushed the trucks out of the way, diesel appears on thomas' line facing him and the trucks are gone... and when diesel runs away all the trucks re-appear on a different track!
I thought the ERTL Percy cameo was a neat little touch at the beginning. :) But still the episode was just silly, as most episodes from the HIT series are. :P
If your next one is Thomas & Percy's Mountain Adventure, maybe you could start with a backstory behind Shining Time Station, as the Americanized adaptation was made specifically for one of the episodes. Just an idea. ;)
But The Phantom Express was a bit better than this episode in my opinion, because I love how the drivers and firemen get a mention and how stephen appeared and how frightened James was.
2:07-2:22 - About your rant about wanting the word "steamy" to die a slow and painful death. What if somebody said "This sauna is very steamy," or "The pan was so hot, the splash from the water poured onto it was very steamy." What would you think of that word being used then?
There's no doubt that there is better writing and dialogue seen in Phantom Express but the one advantage (and ONE only) Flour Power had over it was the soundtrack and Angelis saying "ooohhh... Thomas!" in a spooky voice. Otherwise, I agree with you that it a terrible episode.
7:56 Diesel: it's the Ghost👻 Train🚂 Sir and it's come to Get me Thomas: yes, to tell you that you forgot to Bring the Flour Sir Topham Hatt🎩 he looks like a Ghost👻 But he's Thomas and he's a Really Useful Train🚂
Ooh! Ooh! Another fail here: What the heck are the abandoned mine buildings doing still standing? Most of them had subsided into the ground by the end of "Percy and the Haunted Mine" due to the shaft supports collapsing after years without maintenance! That door was blowing in the wind. :P Old door, rusty hinges, left unlatched or latch broken... That actually does happen. Finally, thumbs down for praising Brenner. He's really just as useless as Sharon Miller was and all the things he's done like bring Duck back are really just shallow fanservice.
Ignorance is bliss, it would seem Brenner was responsible for a magazine stories that were made for third season episodes. Like "Heroes" and "Henry's Forest." Don't bring up how it broke "Rule 55!" we all know that.
freezaplanet419 I like "Henry's Forest", the breech of Rule 55 is the only failing in it. But still, that's the past work of Brenner. His work as showrunner in the current era... Not impressed.
That if you stop on a Running line, or at a Signal where Rule 55 applies, a crew member must run up to the nearest signalbox to alert the signalman of the train's prescence.

+gameoholic1994 how long has the story of Timothy been around?
Christian Stout It's been around for over a year.
I knew it flower power inspired Timothy Disign
Remove the red zero and it looks just like it
this was about the time when I was really young and these were the episodes of T&F that I saw first, and that makes me sad.
Me too.
Me too. But I am at least happy I wasn't born during seasons 13-16
It might be a bad Halloween ep, but it’s one of the best HiT era episodes (8-16)
1:02 There's also a poster of "Thomas and the Magic Railroad" above the bed.
pgj1997 i didn't notice that.
Oh yeah, I think I noticed that
Hard to believe that it's been one year since this video has been uploaded! And I still enjoyed this review! :)
2 years!
So I suppose the trucks just couple them selves and sir toppham just lets Thomas waste food
You're the Thomas the tank engine version of The nostalgia critic
Only he doesn't act like an uninformed tool or stagnates himself that much.
Fun fact in the us version the fat controller likes English muffins but in the uk version it is krumpets
Flour Power is one of my favorite episodes from the Thomas series.
I love when you popped up and I love the Halloween episodes
7:40-7:43 interesting fact, stephen hatt who would be the next controller, is still 10 and has stayed ten, according to the wiki, he was born 1941, salty was built in 1962, i think you see the problem there. +VPT2 The TV series is pretty much frozen in time. It's been that way since about the 3rd season.
Jackson Begley
i think you mean after the 4th, 3rd and 4th still had continuity.
That's probably railway Series only, a different canon.
Chris Corman
i'm slowly getting more and more confused as to what year its supposed to be in the show. Its clearly past 1970's for sure.
VPT2
Probably current times. I'll make it simple: The actual events happened when each episode aired. So Thomas would be like 32-25. The railway Series I see as a different canon because for one: Stepney and the small railway's organs has been rewritten and you can't have both events happening in one universe!

I Liked the video but I have one question, if you're American, then why do you use the uk footage?
Duncan Gets spooked is my favorite Halloween episode thing
This is a personal favorite of mine.
The episode.
Well done! You've done it again! You've captivated our attention yet again with your funny insightful criticism of such poor episodes!
Another, awesome and funny Engine Inspector!! Well done!
The best HIT model episode Thomas' New Trucks.
Honestly, I'm more surprised that the flour even GOT to the destination.
Funny, Duncan Gets Spooked is in second place for me too with Scaredy Engines in third.
Music at the end was a nice touch!
1:21 - Originally, Sir Topham Hatt was going to dress as a devil for his Halloween costume. Mine's got to be Percy's Ghostly Trick too. :) Duncan Gets Spooked and Haunted Henry are close seconds though!
you know they can make a flower covered Thomas for a core moment for the minis
jibby the tank engine and friends except no one knows this episode, so we can't really call it a 'core' moment.

I actually loved this episode, but since I remember seeing it once it came out, that's the only excuse I have.
They are only sold in the UK and Ireland, they are a type of chocolate candy thing with caramel in the center, delicious.
I don't know, maybe it's nostalgia....but I remember liking this episode. The US narration was a LOT better. I do agree with the flour. I guess that was just to save money on props. I thought it wasn't supposed to be scary, but was to show kids that some things aren't as scary as they first seem.

FLOUR THOMAS LOOKS LIKE TIMOTHY
Nobody cares about Timothy the crappy creepypasta.
Terrier82Boxhill Fuck Timothy. I'm frankly embarrassed people think he is canon, it's just a stupid fanfiction that uses almost every cliche in the book. Hopefully it dies a slow and painful death
Spoons McGee Yes, i also hate the "Timothy theory" as theory in fact, I just made a SCRUB reference. Calm down.......
Terrier82Boxhill ah ok, fair enough
I just see so many brain dead children being all defensive of the 'edgy' shitstain, it just gets to me
Spoons McGee I know how it feels, the horrible cringe customs, bad custom story line, and other stuff.
Awesome review! Keep up the good work!
Right now I'm thinking of just doing a highlights of each at the end of the season.
Hey, at least Halloween was good! The only time I like MB's narration along with Hector The Horrid!
I thought flour power was an episode when Emily got flower and bogged the trucks too hard a dumped them In the sea
Thomas originated in the UK, so it would make sense to review the UK dubs of the episodes.
Just an idea. ;)
You should put the Engine Inspected on Calico TV. I'm share they'd love this. (You really should :D)
But The Phantom Express was a bit better than this episode in my opinion, because I love how the drivers and firemen get a mention and how stephen appeared and how frightened James was.
Better then when the CGI series started.
7:08. I don't think the door was opening and closing itself. I think it was the wind, which can change direction.
Next will be a certain Classic Series episode that was nearly completely rewritten for American audiences. ;)
1:40 A group of us have been joking about Fatty and Jaffas on Skype. XD
Oh! :P Thanks!
Excellent job!
I just hate all Miller episodes and those with the 3 strike formula and rhyming.
Miller wrote some good episodes Like the following.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Express Coming Through, Thomas's Day Off, Thomas and the Runaway Car
Nice and funny review!!!
2:07-2:22 - About your rant about wanting the word "steamy" to die a slow and painful death.
What if somebody said "This sauna is very steamy," or "The pan was so hot, the splash from the water poured onto it was very steamy." What would you think of that word being used then?
+gameoholic1994 Okay, you know what I meant. No need to be condescending about it.
+SkarloeyRailway01 hoot hoot
+gameoholic1994 basically using it when refering to a steam locomotive sounds really dumb.
VPT2 Don't get me wrong. That idea WAS... Sort of... On my mind, but I never brought myself to actually say that.
gameoholic1994
i get what you mean.
Some Adults are vary scared of this episode bad it still gives them nightmare
No adult would be scared by this episode.
That's just sad
The only scary thing about this episode is that owl!
3:18 to 3:21, so it must have been TFC and his wife behind that door then.
5:13😱😱😱OMG!!! IT'S TIMOTHY!!!!!
4:17 It’s bunker, not tender.
Hmm... The Phantom Express is far less spookier than this one. At least Flour Power tried to be scary albeit badly.
6:43 the owls are not what they seem
He's seen them I think. ;) SteamTeam is a friend of mine.
Review Thomas and the runaway kite
Right now the time is 10:23 and it is October 23rd today!
Thomas forgot the jafas
That is cool. October is the 10th month of the year. But if you want a MEANINGFUL comment, than nice video,
I'm not sure this episode was trying to be scary but trying to give out a moral that I didn't really get
Better quality footage is available for them.
Another one! But to be honest, I think this episode was decent.
Awsome
But Phantom Express has a interesting story with some decent dialogue. This is just plain silly.
Presumably, he's referring to 3:30 .
When did I do that?
SkarloeyRailway01 If you're American, why are most episodes British?
Can you do "Bill or Ben?"?
October 23, 2015
Y o U r A w I z A r D t O p H a M.

Hoot hoot hoot
can u read the discription
What are jaffas?
So...?
7:56
Diesel: it's the Ghost👻 Train🚂 Sir and it's come to Get me
Thomas: yes, to tell you that you forgot to Bring the Flour
Sir Topham Hatt🎩 he looks like a Ghost👻 But he's Thomas and he's a Really Useful Train🚂
Its like FNAT
i saw that percy
I'd rather watch Spills and Chills than this episode.
Sheriff Duncan Flynn we all would, what a great DVD it was
Maybe. ;)
1:33 lol
and at 6:05
+Homer 1466 8:21 also
+Homer 1466 I subscribed to your channel

Finally, thumbs down for praising Brenner. He's really just as useless as Sharon Miller was and all the things he's done like bring Duck back are really just shallow fanservice.
Yea why are the buildings up. It's like HiT and Sharon Miller wanted to pretend season 1-7 never happened.
Ignorance is bliss, it would seem Brenner was responsible for a magazine stories that were made for third season episodes. Like "Heroes" and "Henry's Forest." Don't bring up how it broke "Rule 55!" we all know that.

So funny at 9:07.
JABEEZUS! THAT OWL IS HORRIFYING!
You look a lot like a friend of mine
He can't see a horror movie it's the 1940s
Where is the proof?
Parishchamp “it’s the 1860s Watson “
ok
this episode isn't spooky is funny!
Don't diss wilbert awdry
2:04-2:22
Meh, I episode was okay.
what's rule 55
"Whistle to the signalman you are there!"
Jon foy "You can't do it!"
What is rule 55?
That if you stop on a Running line, or at a Signal where Rule 55 applies, a crew member must run up to the nearest signalbox to alert the signalman of the train's prescence.
mmbw4 Oh ok. Thank you
You're welcome
sorry
He reviews the uk ones cuz dey r better
Flour Power aka Thomas The Stupid Ghostly Idiot who Thinks Snowmen are alive.😡😡😡😡😡
😵😠I hate this episode so much
