To be honest I think Kate & Leopold is criminally underrated. It was the film that introduced me to Hugh Jackman. If you love Enchanted than you'll love this film.

I'm picky with my rom-coms, books and movies, but I read the book to this first and my only gripe with the movie was resetting the location from Dublin to England but filming the movie in Dublin

‘The Holiday’ is one of my all time favorite movies. And one of my favorite things about it is how Jack Black’s character is so endearing and sweet. (He usually plays that funny, goof ball guy; but he’s darling in this!)

Before We Go is so underrated that it's not even in the underrated list. It's a great and sincere movie starring Chris Evans and Alice Eve, directed by Chris Evans.

Kind of rude that they don't even acknowledge how many times zoe kazan pops up on this list )while fawning over ryan reynolds) or how talented she is specifically at being charming. Especially in Ruby Sparks where she virtually plays an entirely different person every 25 mins.

About Time is one of my favorite films. I watch The Holiday pretty much every Christmas. You even got What If? and Ruby Sparks in there, which are both excellent films as well. Good list overall.

Just watched Before Sunrise and Before Sunset and wow, this is definitely my top underrated romantic movie. So realistic in the emotion you feel when you meet someone you just connect with.

I LOVE Return To Me. So good. Also, I don't think I've ever seen Someone Like You on any of these lists.and it's a great movie.
Literally all of Robert Downey Jr's 90s romcoms; "Chances Are", "Hearts & Souls" and "Only You".
About Time is definitely one of my favourite rom-coms of all time. It's just so brilliant because even if the plot is surrounded by the fantastic component it's still remains one of the most realistic and grounded movies I have ever watched. Not to mention the overall message of the movie is incredible powerful. Indeed one of my favourite movies.

I wouldn’t describe it as a comedy. Also why Seeking a Friend for the End of the World isn’t on it, cause it’s more of a drama with a tragic rather than feel good end.

Not as much as you would think. It always seems to play second banana to "Love Actually," which I dislike. The Holiday is a delight.
I see The Holiday talked about every year near Christmas, but hardly ever as just as romcom. For me, it's the romcom elements that make it easy to watch any time of the year, although Christmas is definitely the best :P

have to say love to see "about time" on here OMG so good and the relationship between the father and son!! I want to say more and my personal relationship with it but spoliors! but also was sad not to see "whats your number on this" its chessy but Chis Evans and Anna Faris chemistry is amazing!!!

Music and Lyrics wasn't on the list, but it's one of my all time favorites. However, I don't feel like everyone loves it as much as I do.

Serendipity is overrated, IMHO. There's more underrated ones, like High Fidelity, The Rebound, and Man Up! Man Up is massively underrated, do yourselves a favour and watch it!
I used to love it but now some characters annoy me too much.
Serendipity is terrible. I'm all for fantasy-level idealism, soulmate beliefs, but the leads were simply dumb. I'm only glad they got together because their exes are much better off without their dumbasses.

Letters to Juliet is my favorite Rom-Com and I wish this was higher on the list. I saw it three times in theaters and I didn't realize it bombed at the box office. Not enough people talk about this movie!
I also love Leap Year, which coincidentally was released only four months before Letters to Juliet. 2010 was a good year for Rom Coms!
This is a really great list. What If/The F Word is my #1 underrated rom com, but i love The Big Sick, Kate & Leopold, and Love, Rosie.

I fell in love with the movie Chasing Liberty ever since it came out. I still have the dvd from then. I even talked about in a job interview and got the job
The Cameron Diaz portion of The Holiday adds nothing to the film. I wish there was more Jack Black and Kate Winslet.
I've seen all but two of the films you mention and enjoyed them all thoroughly. I would, however, rate "Safety Not Guaranteed" far above "About Time", since in the former, the time-travel aspect (always a bit difficult to do well, I think) plays only a subordinate role and the characters are much quirkier and more diverse. But then, maybe that's just my personal taste.
I’ve never heard of Just Like Heaven and not a huge fan of RomComs, but that sounds fun. Gonna watch it this weekend.

I'm obsessed with all Rachel McAdam's romcoms. This movie was so moving... It wasn't extraordinary but it was subtly moving.
What about Never Been Kissed? Talk about an underrated movie! Drew Barrymore is so cute in that movie! It's so relatable too!

Great list. One movie that I'd suggest looking into if you decide to do part 2 for the list is called "I give it a year." It's the most realistic romantic comedy I've personally ever seen. You'll laugh throughout the entire movie...Because even when it's trying to be a bit more serious (ya'll know what I mean.) It does it differently from the typical romantic comedy movies and to me that's good.
Unfortunately it's no longer on Netflix.

"Love Rosie" is one of my all time favorites. So well written and so relatable. I usually watch this one twice a year; at least.
Sleeping With Other People is another good one.
Also I’m glad Friends With Kids was on this. I’ve seen the others on lots of lists like this but rarely that one.
Just friends comes under comedy genre for me ,it's hilarious ,as a guy that's the only film i watched in this list.Definitely recommend that.

Hated the book and movie. Couldn’t get over the premise. The movie tried to clean things up by making the bff cheat on her fiancé but still unlikeable characters and situation.

love, Rosie is one of the most amazing films I've ever seen. It's the favorite of my two friends and me. Sadly, when it was in the cinema and we decided to go there, I've overslept and wasn't brave enough to go into the cinema room 20 minutes after the film has started. But I stood outside of the cinema til the film has ended to wait for my two friends
About time is maybe my favorite movie of all time. Takes something fantastical and makes it totally relatable. Beautiful film
I actually love most of the movies on this list. Some of them I have watched more then 5 times like The Holiday for example. I can't believe that these movies are classified as unsuccessful.
