The real issue of this story is HOW the Taliban knew he was there. The official claim is that a foreign reporter gave away his location. Two US soldiers died for him in that attack on Camp Bastion, in September, 2012. The Talib made it quite clear that it was because of him being there.
The real issue of this story is HOW the Taliban knew he was there. The official claim is that a foreign reporter gave away his location. There is an alternate story that alleges Harry had a "spot of trouble" involving a local girl and the local police got involved--thus word getting out about his presence on the base.
This may be a totally fabricated story. If so, it needs to be debunked to clear Harry's name. It is no better spreading a false story about Harry than spreading a false story about William.
Someone said there was an article about this attack and that Harry slept through it in The Independent. I have not read this but wonder if this story is true or made up.
