To speak of Mary Tillman that way was retaliation, I feel. Which Harkle did it come from, though? Harry was mad that the protests had taken the “shine” off his award. (That specific word he was quoted using was reported in our papers).
Also read in one of the London papers that they’d hired a PR guru, a woman whose name I forget, to repair his image. She was quoted as saying he has to address the controversy in his speech.
Well, imo, the way he did it backfired and showed to the world that he was further disrespecting a Gold Star Mother. That’s not done here.
IMO, whomever’s fault it was, Harry just went beyond the point of no return as far as any hope of repairing his image in the United States.

But now Harry has destroyed that, imo. The more he exposes his own disordered self in public, the more people question how he was raised by her, what he might have inherited from her, and what disordered personality traits she had that can offer clues about him. Suddenly her troubled personality comes under scrutiny. I’m sure we can all think of examples.
It’s Prince William I feel for in the midst of all this. It must be awful for William when Diana’s memory is used and exploited by his brother. Sometimes I think Harry is such an angry person (“He was born angry,” his nanny was recently quoted), that I wonder if he brings up his mother, consciously or unconsciously, to hit William with.
IMO Harry has used Diana for profit and self-aggrandizement. Why not to get back at William for perceived slights and for being born first?
