I love how everyone is calling her "the girl" haha. It's Scott Ian's wife. This whole band started as a fun rock thing, and eventually they had enough songs to put out an album. Don't like it? Go cry somewhere else...it's nice to see someone like Scott Ian branching out and playing something different than his Anthrax stuff
Pearl Aday is Meatloaf's daughter
Fun times. I once ended up at a club with some international students from Japan to see a Japanese band playing in LA. When I got to the club, I saw that Mother Superior and Pearl were playing. I thought... could it be... isn't Mother Superior the backing band for the Rollins Band... during the soundcheck when the curtain was still down, I knew immediately that it was Jim Wilson on guitar. His last solo of that set was the greatest guitar solo I have ever seen in person.
Then after Mother Superior the place became packed for Pearl... I had no idea that she was Meatloaf's daughter, but I found that out later.
I'm just happy to have more of Jim Wilson on guitar with Motor Sister.

Honestly this band has a nice solid and rich sound. Yes I agree maybe that girl is not necessary but besides nice solid band. Nothing necessarily new or crazy but a good listen at least.

I like it... It's nothing absolutely spectacular but I think it's pretty cool, I actually watched the whole video... I've watched it a couple times tbh lol

Honestly, who would really listen to this. Guitar is good, but the drummer is just beating his drum, giving the song a headache delivery.

Scott Ian will try anything to make money at this point, including this transparent cash-grab gig. He sees his window closing and is desperate to make a few bucks off of anything. I'm glad his venture with Keith Buckley didn't pan out because then we wouldn't have a great new ETID album. I probably wouldn't say all of this if I hadn't met him in person and could say that he couldn't have been more aloof, dismissive, and arrogant, but he was. And I couldn't have been more disappointed. Never meet your heroes, they say. I was and am still a huge Anthrax fan, but Ian is a star in his own eyes who is bigger and better than us all. Keep reading those Stephen King novels and watching the David Lynch movies for lyrics. Leave thrash to the real greats who are class acts and play for Slayer.
Lol I’m not even a big Anthrax fan and definitely not a fan of this band, but you’re judging a dude based on one encounter. Who knows what he was going through that day, or what was going on in his life at that very moment?
You probably won’t understand this because nobody will ever be excited to meet you, but some people aren’t always in the mood to deal with fans all the damn time.
