i liked it. its kind of southern, rock, vocals fit the music perfectly. maybe not the strongest singer, but still pretty good. its good to see Metal dudes bringing out new stuff. Metal isnt the only thing i listen to,so its nice to have some variety. Will definitley be purchasing this when it comes out
First heard about this band on That Metal Show, VH1 Classic recently. I thought this was an original band with original music. Now I read they are covering songs the lead singer used to play with a previous band. Who cares. I love the energy of the music. A lot of passion behind those vocals and the harmonies by Pearl add a nice touch. Great snare drum sound as well. I hope this project lasts more than 1 record.
I hope in the three years since you posted this comment you figured out this was essentially a cover band put together to play new versions of song the singer wrote for his old band. The "girl" you mention is Pearl Day, Scot Ian's wife and why you singled her out for being relatively still and no one else is a mystery since it appears they are tracking to tape in this clip. Excessive moment would have caused undo noice on tracks.
How is it that every band that metal blade records signs sucks so much? seriously, I've scoured their channel, and am yet to find a song on it that doesn't consist completely of shitty vocals and tired, stereotypical riffs.
Really? Metalblade records is advertising this garbage ? The same record label known for having the best death and thrash bands on their roster. Also Scott Ian really is out of it. Not the same man as he was with anthrax in the 80's. After listening to this song I get the sence that this band seems to cater to the mid-40's early 50's white male on the vurge of having a mid-life crisis while trying to relive his youth.
Dennis Fredericks You're a close-minded imbecile/wannabe-Metalhead. First of all, Metal Blade originally had a lot of traditional Metal bands during their first decade or so of existence, before they lowered their standards to cater to the "I'm so cool and hard that I only listen to extreme Metal" mall-Rock kids such as yourself. Second of all, 99.9% of Death Metal SUCKS ASS and is a horrible joke and disgrace to TRUE Metal. Third, no modern Thrash Metal bands come close to being as awesome and original as the Big 4, or to Exodus, Testament, Death Angel and other bands who came out during the first and second waves of the genre. So excuse Metal Blade for not signing any because none exist. Fourth, most good musicians don't only play one style of music. Scott Ian is a Thrash Metal and Crossover legend who helped pioneer both of those genres with Anthrax and S.O.D., so don't dis him if he wants branch out and play different-sounding shit at times. At least this is a lot better than that lame side project he had with the faggot drummer and guitarist of Fall-Out Boy. And finally, this is pretty kick-ass Hard Rock, so piss off, poser.
ooh you know your metal. I see your argument . But this isn't metal. I can't bash them on their talent because they have tons of it. But this band sound's bland to me. I'm well aware of the origins of metal and this isn't even "traditional metal" This is just hard rock for the middle aged white man> Death metal in general is linked all the way back to the early day's of extreme metal such as Venom and Hellhammer to thrash legend like Slayer ! Band's like Death are the benchmark for really good metal of any genre yet they're a "Death Metal" band. I don't think I'll piss off. And poser ? Me a poser for being vocal in my opinion on why I think this band sound's lame and tired ? It's my opinion and I don't expect to share it with you or anyone. for the record I wouldn't call me close minded. I listen to music ranging from Zappa, The Who, Pink Floyd all the way To sepultura, Sarcofago, Celtic Frost, Hellhammer, Bathory, Death, Possessed, Vader, Opeth (even their new shit), Over Kill, D.R.I, Suicidal tendencies.... and so on.

Pearl's harmonies are kick ass, totally loving this.

Simple two word review: Shit Sandwich
This is cool, its got a killer groove. Scott needs to get the new Anthrax out though!
Scott Ian, wake your ass up! Ain't 1976 no more!
Pretty cool shit. A lot better than "Beg Borrow Steal", that's for damn sure - that song is godawful.
Reminds me of Gamma and Montrose very cool.
Luvvit 💋

remind me a little bit of Volbeat
uhm...better keep listening to anthrax.
what the hell is this tin shed band doing?
crap!
i EXPECTED BETTER FROM SCOTT.
Kinda liked it... Then lost me.. Go nowhere
Sounds so outdated...
+Aaron Snyder That's a good thing!! The oldskool metal sound is cool.
yes we are now in a time where being dated is a good thing.
Jesus, this one is even more cliche then the last song by them I listened to. Its just one played out, over used riff after another.
Mediocre , really mediocre . Bad vocals also and the girl is just a statue . The only good thing here is the main riff (Scott Ian ♡) .

It's actually Pearl "Aday" (daughter of Meatloaf). I think he called her a statue because she adds next to nothing to this track.

Eh, nothing too incredible about this tune.
It's literally impossible to save a first impression.

He's doing what he wants to do with his wife. That's better being a sheep who does what he's told
Should have read the comments first, sounds like garbage.
Scott Ian FTW!! - not so much interested in the sound / vocal tone.
