Thank you again Elizabeth 💕💕kuhn rikon is becoming my all time fav brand, the knives are quality and fun too (in terms of colour lol) you are very kind for gifting to me 🥰🥰
Thank you for putting these videos out. You encouraged me to invest in a dual air fryer and I have only used my oven a couple of times since I bought it. A frugal tip is to use granulated sugar in your baking, it is fine enough for just about all cakes and puddings.
Oh that's amazing Pamela, it must save some energy not using the oven - and using an Airfryer instead, they're so much quicker for one thing. Top tip re granulated sugar, I've used it before for cakes perfect stuff, just had caster sugar in stock 😃👌💕
Hi from Scotland. Im new subscriber. This looks great. Got my airfryer last year but really just used for chips. Mines is a single drawer Cosori. Have watched some of ur videos so far and love how straight foreward ur cooking and baking is. As another person said no faffing. Thanks for sharing x
Hi! 👋🏴💕I'm adding a cosori to my channel, haven't got it out of the box yet🙈very excited to start using it. Thanks so much for watching & subscribing 👌💕
They look delicious Kerry, the ramikin dishes are spot on, very handy. I've just gotten a utensil set like yours but I got white. I was a bit disappointed when they came because they had a marble effect. I was expecting plain white. You have some good ideas and you present them well
Love your jam sponges I never thought of those what about crumbles any fruit crumble and you could put peaches or any fruit under the sponge mix love fran xxps great gifts
Aww thank you☺️, my gran had fab neighnours (she lived in glasgow, I was miles away down here) bit of payback to the universe for my gran, good karma and all that☺️👍💕
Oh was you who suggested jam sponges Janet? 👍💕 thank you if it was. Flipping pudding genius you are, valerie and the boys thought xmas had come early (😄puddings aren't a frequent occurrence in the budget household)
I havent but I need to look into this, on ninja groups it seems people are split 50 50, those that clean and those that dont - fierce debate over whether you should/shouldn't. I will email Ninja and get back to you😃👍
Wow that's great stuff 😘😘😘😘😘😘I like that from Amazon nice quality u can tell...lucky you....xxx loving all this it's genuine ....its also a progressive story with allotment...this looks yummy..😋😋😋😋love the grabby tool as i struggle to extract stuff 😑🤐where is it from ?
Thank you Carol💕lovely quality they were, so lovely of Beth. I've got a few spare grabby thingys, now that I've road tested it a few times I will do a mini giveaway i think - more info on fridays vlog👌💕
ever thought of making a 'Spotted Richard' of course that's normally a suet mix, then there's the savoury version bacon and onion roll served with thick gravy
Blimey I like the sound of the savoury version, I googled spotted 'richard' (😄) after I read your comment, its cooked in steam? Not sure if ninja could replicate that but it looks flipping delicious, will definitely give it a go👍💕thanks for the suggestion👌
@@budgetcookinguk back in the day 60s my Mum had a tea towel with very little colour in it (no dye to leach) she would lay out the floured towel line it with greaseproof paper, nowadays baking parchment and roll out the mixture on top then scatter the dried fruit roll it up tie the ends put it in her biggest saucepan with an upside down plate in the bottom and a little water and steam it checking the water level all the time. of course this is all tempered by time and my patchy memory but I'm convinced that what it looked like when unrolled got it it's original comical nickname, it was only in poncy houses where these things were made in pudding basins
@@misolgit69 ahh I did read one recipe that said lay out something (cannot remember what) and baking parchment and roll it, and tie it so it looks like a *xmas cracker - that sounds like your mums (lovely memory btw💕) *hence the nickname once cooked🤣
You need to get two more ramienks. There is so much you can make in them such as bread pudding, moultin chocolate cakes. Many more ideas chicken pot pie. I use mine all the time in the airfryer. Seems daily I find a new use for them.
The amounts/weights are at the end of the vlog, just pause when you get there (120g of self raising flour, 120g butter/marg, 120g sugar, 2 eggs, blob of jam in each ramekin) . Timings are in the vlog, bake 160c (320f) for about 25 mins😃👍
@@budgetcookinguk I tried to heat up a chicken pie it was a disaster in foil! I had to crank it up to 200 in the end took ages in foil on top of crust but I'll flip it over next time I was probing tiny bits of chicken it was really stupid....I got there eventually I refuse to use the beast of electricity!!!! The oven..
@@Silverdale15 oh no I've had that problem, I think the foil or the container food is in slow down the heat getting to the food. If foil is off the top could burn, nightmare! esp when you're trying to probe invisible chicken pieces 🥴
To kept the edge at it is best please don’t put them in dishwasher. I just wipe my blades immediately after use and keep them on a magnetic strip on wall - safe for both people and knives long life using knives I am now 75)
I would have reheated the sponge in the microwave then you won't get any crunchy bits on the sponge. I always do custard in the microwave it takes less than 3 minutes using custard powder sugar and milk.
there is an online BBC Good Food recipe for a microwave Sultana Sponge pudding (spotted dick) I wonder if it can be tweaked to use in an air fryer ? experiment time ? atb Bill
Glad your knife arrived, and glad you like it. Another great video, those puds look delicious x

Oooh yeah, or marmalade, or blueberries, or .... The choices are endless.
Works fine with lemon curd.
Great vid - I would've taste tested a full one 😉 and let the boys share (fight) the rest between themselves 😜
