    That looks very tasty Kerry. I could cook that in my halogen oven, you can see it cooking in the glass bowl. I would have to cut the naan bread in half to fit in my air fryer. I have successfully cooked Asda fresh chilled pizzas in my halogen. I want to try using the air fryer more as my Halogen oven is 9 years old but still working perfectly. I won't be replacing it if stops working but get a larger air fryer and keep the small one as a backup. Never thought of making my own with naan bread, great being able to choose the topping. thanks for the ideas. Best Wishes Eileen x

I keep them in empty herb jars or Kirriemuir plastic boxes with clip lids. They can also be frozen in ice cube trays and kept in your freezer. Then just take a cub or how ever many you need when you need then. Worth a try. Pizzas look good.did you do on air fry?

Love lidl too, althou it often has little shortages, no bad thing to get used to that what with the tomatoes & cucumber shortages going on. It's still cheaper than all the other supermarkets, albeit the price rises are shocking👀

  • @mark-andrews
    @mark-andrews 11 месяцев назад

    Yes, recipies that require, 1/2 a jar of Pesto sauce, no problem just transfer the unused 1/2 into the freezer, in it's original jar, probably cover with 2 layers of cling film. Instead of the original lid, it'll keep for a couple of months, at least. With Pesto I like it, too much, so i will use the other 1/2 stored in the fridge, and just screw the original cap on top to close until, then use later, within guidance on label of jar.

      Thank you Boris!👍💕thanks v much for watching and congrats on getting your ninja👌 they're flipping great. If you give Naanizza a go, someone said pre cook the naan (without toppings) in the Airfryer, a few mins each side and that helps prevent it going soggy. I tried it this lunchtime and it works! 😃👍👍

      Thank you Julie💕pitta would work very well, I know lidl sell mini naans too👍other supermarkets would too I reckon

    If you go to a hardware store they have ‘warm white’ Fluro strips that make a big difference. I don’t think they are very expensive and easy to replace

    Grew up eating those. Funny it’s now a fad. Looks like the air fryer doesn’t crisp the bottom. Good to know. Thank you!!

      I figured out that pre cooking the naan upside down for 3 mins approx, on AF setting 200c does crisp up the bottom (before putting on the toppings)😀👍

      @budgetcookinguk  Год назад

      I've made this a fair few times now and cook/airfry the naan for a bit longer (only a few mins more) before putting the toppings on, gets that crispy bottom, easier to get out with the plate grabby thing too😃👍💕💕and thank you!!

    I suppose instead of using a plain naan, you could use a herb naan which would give it another flavour.

    • @budgetcookinguk
      @budgetcookinguk  Год назад

      You could Harry👍 we tried the lidl garlic & herb naans for naanizza for Saturday and they were lovely, wise to pre cook the naans both sides for 1 or 2 mins before adding toppings, no soggy naanizza then👌😋

    They look very nice, but what do you you think made it a bit soggy? was it the pesto ? If so you could try swapping it for a bit of tomato puree maybe....😋

    • @budgetcookinguk
      @budgetcookinguk  Год назад

      Thank you Joe👍👍 that was my first time trying so didnt know about pre cooking the naan before putting the toppings on, someone in the comments said cook naan each side 1 or 2 mins, then pop toppings on and hey presto no soggy naanizza, it really works👍👍

    Hmm, let's get you nice and successful on RUclips so you can buy a family home 🙂. I was a home owner until I sold up, moved to a rural location and then became very ill before I found a place to buy. During that time my ex, the father of my then two young children, gambled away the sale proceeds from my family home (inherited from my mother) while I was too ill to do anything other than try to get better. I have been in rented since and feel so insecure. Everyone deserves to feel secure so I hope with all my heart that you get the success you deserve 🙂❤️
    Also, an interesting fact I read recently, in Italy they wouldn't dream of picking up pizza with their hands to eat, they use a knife and fork haha! Strangely I prefer to eat pizza with a knife and fork because somehow it seems to taste better? I have no idea how that works!

    • @budgetcookinguk
      @budgetcookinguk  Год назад +1

      Aww Jacqueline that's an awful thing your ex did to you and HIS own kids, am really sorry there wasn't anyone to fight your corner at that time. Renting is insecure isnt it, prior to our current place 2 landlords wanted to sell up so we had to move twice in the space of 1 year - exhausting!🥴
