This is the most 70s thing I have ever seen. I just found my childhood sketchbook and, fittingly, it is the most 2000s thing I have ever seen. Brilliant stuff! I've actually got that Death Star playset

I'm 10 years older but had younger brothers & sister..5 of us and brought back such sweet memories! I teach JH. They "freak" when I explain "old tv, phones, tv change---children physically doing it for parents..lol)" satellites and technology wasn't around when I was growing up... Alice Cooper!! KISS!! It really is amazing when we think back to how things were "just that short time ago" compared to today. I still am taken aback, once in awhile, when I think about how much just my phone in my pocket does compared to the things we had back then. A blessing and a curse. Ha, ha.

I enjoyed seeing you early sketches especially since they were all things that I remember as a kid myself. I went to the theater to watch STAR WARS with my cousin when it was released and we hooked on it ever since. I am also a pretty huge Alice Cooper fan and still enjoy listening to Welcome To My Nightmare . Hey Jeff!! Great to hear from you!! That sketchbook is pretty much a snapshot of all things I loved, back then, and they really haven't changed today. I'm still a Kiss fan, obviously. I also still listen to Alice and enjoy Star Wars (at least the old ones... ha, ha). I've tried to pour my time into this watercolor color channel at the neglect of the other one, unfortunately. I've thought about doing a new video, once in awhile, but it's been so long. Looking forward to all your new videos, though!! Later, my friend!
This was a lot of fun, our son is a few years younger than you but we remember it all. Personally I really enjoyed Battlestar Galactica. Our son ran around the house yelling colonel Steve on the night it was on tv and took his dolls (Steve and Maskatron) everywhere. Later he was crazy about Charlies Angels too, t shirt and all. I wont go into all the Star Wars stuff he had...oh well, he was right we should have kept all that stuff, much like my mother in law not saving my husbands baseball cards. Guess its true, history repeats its self. It’s great you have your childhood sketch book, thanks for showing us.
I hope they were heads attached to horse bodies. Ha, ha. Kidding. It is fun to look back and see how we look at some pop icons differently, these days. Thanks for watching!!

I LOVED all the Six Million Dollar Man toys!! So much fun. ... and, yes, I read Starlog all the time. Such great times. Did you ever put your own name into the opening SMDM sequence? "Steve Atkinson. Astronaut. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology..." :)
